Hotels mit Bergblick Hotels in El Chaltén

We’ve stayed lots of places but this was personally one of my all time favorites. The rooms were spacious and clean with a nice sitting area. The breakfast was more than adequate with eggs to order and plenty of coffee, fruit, pastry, yogurt and cereals. The drinks at the bar were great and reasonably priced. Try the pisco sour with the Calafate liquor. I hate to admit it but we were so tired from hiking that venturing out to another restaurant in town was not appealing but dinner choices varied from fish to beef to pasta and everything we ate was delicious. There is a small spa area downstairs and we used the jacuzzi. Finally staff was extremely helpful and most pleasant. I wouldn’t take the chance in going elsewhere

5-Sterne Hotel ist etwas übertrieben. Es hat war einen Spa Bereich und eine Bar, welche nicht allzu gross ausgestattet ist. Den Spa Bereich haben wir nicht genutzt. Die Standard Zimmer sind sehr klein. Wir hatten sehr warm im Zimmer, da man nur ein kleines Fenster öffnen konnte. Klimaanlage zum Kühlen oder Heizen im Winter gibt es nicht. Das Frühstück war i.O. aber nicht aussergewöhnlich. Wir assen am ersten Abend von unserem Aufenthalt im Hotelrestaurant. War gut aber nicht besonders. Das Menü für am Abend war die ganze Woche das gleiche. Man muss deshalb auswärts essen gehen, wenn man etwas anderes essen möchte. Für die diversen Wanderungen ist die Lage des Hotels etwas ausserhalb von El Chaltén gut. Für El Chaltén ist es ein gutes Hotel. Kann empfohlen werden.

Chalten Suites in the centre of El Chalten is more of an upmarket hotel more for people seeking comfort than just a place to throw a sleeping bag onto the floor. The rooms are quaint and spacious enough and the bathroom is fine. Water pressure in the shower is satisfactory. The bed is comfortable and the heating works as it should in such a cold place. The included breakfasts were excellent, especially to charge your body up for a long hike. The staff are extremely helpful and do go out of their way to try to ensure your stay goes well. They will organise shuttles to walks and offer advice for those unfamiliar with the local attractions. When the lovely receptionist mentions a shorter walk to Laguna Capri, ignore that and go with the longer walk option (see review on Chalten walks). There are only a few negatives for the hotel. Top of the list is the poor Wi-Fi, which is annoyingly unreliable. However, that could be a location problem for the whole town. That said, in all my weeks of travel throughout South America, this is the only place with bad Wi-Fi. Next is the cheap toilet paper, a silly thing really as it is so unnecessary. Especially when you have to use twice as much for the same job. Lastly, the restaurant in the hotel is limited. It has a nice ambience and good views but the menu is limited and lacking in national dishes. I paid $US200 per night and stayed 3 nights. For that fee, one would expect better internet. Overall, there aren’t many flash hotels in El Chalten and Chalten Suites does provide a necessary service for tourists rather than adventurers. Toller Service! Gutes Zimmer, sauber, geräumig und warm. Gutes Badezimmer, sehr sauber. Leckeres Frühstück mit einer größeren Auswahl als in den meisten Gasthäusern in El Chalten. Rezeption mit Lounge. Und eine wunderschöne Aussicht im Restaurant.

Das Hotel war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet, um es willkommen und gemütlich zu machen. Die Personalschaft des Front Desk war sehr freundlich und über das Gebiet informiert. Das Frühstück bestand aus süßen Brot, Schalen, Getreide, Joghurt, Multigrannbrot und hart gekochte Eier. Es war ziemlich angenehm und füllend. Die Matratzen waren auch sehr komfortabel. Wir machten eine große Wahl, dieses Hotel auszuwählen.

Clean newer place across the street from the Laguna Torre trailhead and a 12 minute walk to the Fitz Ray trailhead. Someone gave some thought to what hikers want when traveling. There are lots of plugins for electrical devices near the bed, in the kitchen, in the shelving in the hallway. The receptors accept European, US, and Argentina plugs. There is a microwave, toaster, stove top, and fridge. The rooms are large with good light and air flow. The beds are good. There is a rainfall shower. The towels are high quality. There is a heated towel dryer. There is free parking near the rooms. It is easy to walk to any store or restaurant in town. Consider booking a bus through the hotel if you do not have a car.
