Hotel mit eigenem, mit Stahltor gesichertem, kostenpflichtigem Parkplatz. Am Bahnhof von Mons. Das Hotel wirkt gepflegt. Der Bahnhof ist schräg gegenüber. In der Nähe einige Restaurants . Ins schöne Stadtzentrum geht man zu Fuß ca. 10-15 Minuten. Unterwegs findet man, je nach Route, Geschäfte und weitere Restaurants. Frühstck war für ein Ibis gut, der Sevice freundlich und aufmerksam.

Das sehr freudliche und hilfsbereite Personal ist toll. Die weniger guten Zimmer sollten dringend renoviert werden (Wandfarbe, Bad, Möbel). Eine Zumutung war am Abend das Essen im hoteleigenen Restaurant. Nudelgericht aus der Mikrowelle, serviert in einer Plastikschale auf einem Teller !!! Das geht leider gar nicht - und dafür noch 12,50 € verlangen !? Das Frühstücks-Buffet hingegen war reichhaltig, abwechslungsreich und gut.

Üblicher Ibis-Standart. Die Zimmer sind eher nüchtern und haben etwas "Jugendherbergenstil" aber es ist alles vorhanden. Besonders hervorzuheben: Gutes Frühstück, nettes Personal und sehr gutes Badezimmer. Negativ: Die Beschilderung ist mangelhaft udn die Zufahrt zum Hotel schwierig.

Das ibis Mons Centre Gare ist gutes Mittelmaß - nicht mehr, aber definitiv nicht weniger. Die Zimmer sind recht groß, allerdings etwas spärlich eingerichtet (wobei alles notwendige vorhanden ist). Die Technik (TV, WLAN, Beleuchtung etc.) ist etwas outdated, aber ausreichend. Für Mons ist das Hotel preislich absolut im Rahmen und nicht zu teuer. Die Bar bietet die Möglichkeit Getränke mit aufs Zimmer zu nehmen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.

Das Hotel ist in jeder Hinsicht sehr einfach, basic, maximal Ibis Budget. Man kann da übernachten, wenn man keinen weiteren Komfort erwartet und sich an kleineren Schmutzspuren nicht stört. Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist das Geld nicht wert. Käse / Wurst sind unappetitlich, hochgerollt und verhärtet. Bedienung/Service personell sehr eingeschränkt, aber grundsätzlich freundlich.

Die telefonische Reservierung unterwegs von Frankreich aus (auf englisch) klappte nicht, bei Ankunft um 23:15 Uhr war kein Doppelzimmer auf unseren Namen reserviert. Wir erhielten trotzdem ein geräumiges, aber lautes Doppelzimmer. Die angeblich bis 24 Uhr geöffnete Küche war längst geschlossen, zu essen hätten wir allenfalls Chips in Tüten (Angebot an der Rezeption) erhalten können, nicht einmal ein Getränk an der Bar war offenbar möglich, obwohl die Bar "jederzeit" zur Verfügung stehen sollte. an Im Zimmer gab es einen (!) Stuhl für zwei Personen. Die Dusche war eine völlige Fehlkonstruktion. Unverschämt wart dann für 15,00 EUR/Person am anderen Morgen das angeblich "reichhaltige" Frühstück mit Baguette vom Vortag, einer Sorte Käse, zwei Sorten Schinken, einer unsäglichen Orangensaft-Maschine (eine einzige unappetitliche Panscherei) und wenig hilfsbereitem Servicepersonal. Es ist ein Hotel für junge Leute, die erfahrungsgemäß selten Kritik üben und jede Zumutung ohne Widerspruch hinnehmen. Wir waren vor Jahren schon zweimal dort, aber die Erfahrungen 2022 führen dazu, dass wir dieses schlechte, überteuerte (DoZi - 119,00, Parken 10,00, Frühstück 30,00 EUR) Hotel nie wieder aufsuchen werden.

I have stayed in this hotel almost once every year for many years and it has a constant quality. But it is noted that the price of the rooms have gone up disproportional through those years too. The room was nice and clean with the standard IBIS lay-out and good working WiFi There was safe overnight storage for my bicycle Breakfast was so so with a limited choice of not so tasty food. Don't understand why IBIS decided to ask € 15,- for breakfast on top of the not so cheap room. Maybe better get breakfast on the square opposite the railway station next door

The location if this Ibis is hard to beat. It is directly across the street from the main train station of Mons and an enjoyable 10-15 minute walk to the beautiful platz where restaurants/cafés abound. The Wi-Fi enabled rooms are clean, the beds comfortable and the showers hot. Next to the lobby is a nice sitting area where one can relax at the end of the day with a decent selection of beers as well as some wine. I did not eat at the restaurant for anything other than breakfast which was included in the price of the room but that is not always the case. I believe the charge is 12€ if paid for separately. The spread in the mornings is very sufficient. There are crepes, fresh squeezed orange juice, yogurt, grains, eggs, sausage, meats, cheeses, and bread. The staff is also very accommodating. Parking is generally available along the street (no issues with crime) but also gated parking is accessible behind the hotel for a small fee. All in all this hotel offers a very comfortable and affordable stay.

Just in front of the train station and next to a main bus transfer point, it was well located. It's also an easy walk to the Saint Waudru collegiate church and the City Hall. Inside, reception and check-in was painless and the staff very friendly. There's a small well-stocked bar and the cafe. I requested the breakfast included with my room and there was a nice selection of European style breads, cheeses, cereal, etc. Also, scrambled eggs, beans, and small wurst. Best part was the orange juicer where I could "squeeze" my own fresh juice. Rooms were clean and quiet with fresh white sheets. Parking was an additional 9 Euro but the lot is fenced in and I believe under camera surveillance. Check-out was quick and easy. The only "complaint" I have is no fault of the hotel. There was a lot of road construction which when added to all the one-way streets made the hotel a challenge to get to when following the GPS. Once we figured our way around it wasn't a problem.

The room is large, quiet and very clean. The best part though by far,is the front desk staff! Kevin at the desk helped me with various reservations. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He even helped translate with some of my reservations when I was having difficulties. Such great service! It was much appreciated. Located directly across from train and bus station

On a cycling tour of Belgium and France, I booked Ibis hotels and emailed each in advance to make sure they could accommodate the bikes. Ibis Mons came back straight away telling me that we were fine to take the bikes in the rooms and on arrival we were blown away by the welcome from the duty manager. He couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Anyone can build a hotel, but not everyone can staff one with people who actually care. Recommended.

Location could be better, business hotel used by coach parties. Welcome was good, and our room was a standard IBIS room, nothing special. We asked for extra pillow which was provided really quickly. There is no food when coach parties there but you can get an Italian meal delivered. They probably need to get more staff when coach parties in, but it was really the location that was disappointing. Directly opposite station, so good for connections but it is a little run down at the moment. Breakfast was a well prepared continental buffet.

Our experience at the Ibis Hotel in Mons was our worst experience the entire time in Belgium. The man at the counter was rude, unhelpful and angry when we asked for help. We booked 3 rooms and they only had two of them available. So when we asked about the missing room the man working at the desk was completely rude and unhelpful.
