The hotel offers good value for its location and amenities. I was satisfied with the bed arrangement in my room (no. 2015) which included one single bed and one queen bed, providing a comfortable sleeping arrangement. It just the shower area had drainage problems. The water would flood the floor and drain very slowly, which was quite inconvenient. But overall, it’s a solid choice for those visiting Miri, especially if you're looking for a centrally located place with basic comforts.

Overall the hotel location is very convenient, especially opposite of the hotel got famous Kopitiam to enjoy the local cruisine and drinks. Room is big enough as it’s comes with King size bed and another single bed. Overall is good.

Cleanliness was decent, when checked in, staff could be more friendly, some issues with hot water and shower head but have been informed to staff while checking out.

toilet in my room smells bad.. couldn’t sleep because other guests loudly voice can hear in my room. walkway and my room have a musty smell.

Renovated room for a big room but the carpet is smelly. So we open the window for whole night.

8 nights for Bussines trip Room: Pros large size Executive Family room Cons: very dusty room, despite we asked to clean the room every day. We asked the cleaner to vacuum the room, she said the vacuum is broken !!! Gym: only 1 working treadmill, 2 of the bike machine completely loose unabale to use.(see picture) CON: opening hour is ridiculous - 8am to 8pm. As a Business traveller , this timing is ridiculous. Pool: Small, and again opening hours like office hours (if you are business travellers , you will find it is impossible to use the gym and pool) Breakfast: so so Front desk staff: friendly and helpful

Centrally located term for looking food and value for $. Will recommend it acquaintances, friends and families.

Staffs are nice and professional, speaks good English, prompt in responding to the issues we had during our stay. Rooms are spacious, clean bedsheets and towels. Free parking is also available for hotel guests. . Downside is that as this hotel is kind of old, the infrastructure is showing signs of aging and lack of maintenance. Some issues we had were things like broken door locks, faulty lights, damaged cabinet doors..... Room lighting is also more on the warm ambient side. Personally, I'd have preferred it brighter. . Overall a pleasant stay. Mega Hotel is also within walking distance to two major shopping malls, convenient location and great service. Would be perfect if they did some revamp on their infrastructure. :)

I would stay in Mega Hotel for all my coming visits to Miri to confirmed. No where less. I really like the room and facilities provided.
