Wir haben mit diesem Hotel 3 Nächte lang unsere Roadtrip begonnen und sind nicht enttäuscht. Alle Angebote waren toll und kostenlos! (Sportraum, Parkplatz) Es ist ein weiterer, wenn man die Reisen und Parkplätze in Mexiko City kennen! Das Frühstück serviert jeden Morgen war frisch, am Tag und sehr gut. Le seul bémol est que pour les adeptes comme moi du chocolat chaud, ils ne servent pas ^^ et ils n'ont pas de confiture aussi. En ce qui concerne le beurre, il faut leur demander. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet (TV, Tafel, Toilette, Dusche, WC...) Negative Punkte, die wir bemerkt haben: Es bleibt ziemlich weit vom Zentrum entfernt und wir mussten nach Uber zu einigen Orten, Es ist kein Hotel zu wählen, wenn Sie zu Fuß fahren wollen.

The Novotel Mexico City Centro Histórico is a new hotel. Its newness shows in any number of ways, both good and bad. First the good: Staff were all friendly. And my room was shiny new and free of signs of wear. Everything in the room worked perfectly. It is true that the room was rather small and that the view was mostly of a blank wall. Since I was by myself and did not spend much time in the room during the day, these latter issues didn’t bother me very much. There were, however, some issues that were also perhaps related to the hotel’s newness. The cleaning staff didn’t empty the wastebasket on the first day and didn’t replenish the Nespresso pods on the second. Perhaps they should start working from a checklist … ? Also, breakfast was only available half an hour later than advertised. And, oddly, only certain guests were offered omelettes. And, as someone who doesn’t eat meat, I was bothered by a cheese-and-luncheon-meat plate on which the cheese and luncheon meat were piled on top of each other. I would also have appreciated labels on the four stew-like dishes on offer—I couldn’t tell what they contained. There is also the issue of billing. When I checked in at 3 p.m., I was asked to pay the entire bill—no problem there. But, when I arrived in my room, I found an e-mail from hotel management informing me that, because the hotel was extra busy, I’d already been charged for day 1. It’s true that I’d opted for a “flexible” rate which required me to agree to pay for the first day whether I showed up or not, but it was a little startling to be charged for a no-show before the earliest possible check-in time—and then charged again when I checked in. It took a week for the double charge to disappear from my credit-card statement. I can’t believe Accor would have approved of this billing procedure. The thing that most bothered me about the hotel was the absence of a minibar. The TripAdvisor website—and also the websites of several booking agencies—all claim that rooms in the Novotel Mexico City Centro Histórico have minibars. The Accor website, I’ll admit, doesn’t. But I guess I’ve come to expect that hotels of a certain class would have minibars. And I missed having one, not for overpriced drinks, but for the groceries I bought. I wasn’t, in other words, very enthusiastic about the Novotel Mexico City Centro Histórico, although I acknowledge that, with a few changes, it could most definitely be turned into a very good hotel.

Es ist das dritte Mal in diesem Hotel, wir werden dort bleiben, da der Preis recht fair ist, die Lage ist nur groß, nahe der Hauptbahnhof, der Stadtzentrum und die wichtigsten touristischen Orte. Das Hotel ist sehr gut für die Mitarbeiter, und wir möchten Javier und Juan Carlos erwähnen, da sie zwischen Rezeption, Bellboys und Butlers sind, sie sind immer hilfreich. Raymundo und Florentino von der Wartung halfen uns, und wir schätzen sie, dass sie etwas Zeit dauern, um das zu tun. Ich würde das sehr gut bewerten, aber wir hatten eine Enttäuschung, die wir nie in diesem Hotel hatten ... Unser erstes Zimmer war nie sauber oder was, als wir wieder ins Ruhe kamen, sie wechselten uns zu einem anderen, das wir danken, aber Hauspflege muss auf sein. Punkte, Details, Grundsätze und ihre Checkliste müssen immer Priorität haben. Auch in der Nacht des 17., etwas passierte, dass andere Gäste gerade zu viel Lärm gemacht, bis 3-4am, da wir viele Zeit aufwachen und konnten nichtruhen ... Wenn Sie das Dokument lesen, das Sie unterschreiben, sind Teil der Regeln und Politiken, um anderen zu respektieren Nachtzeit, sie müssen an diesem harten Arbeiten. Der Sicherheitsmann, der im Vergleich zu dem normalen 8-12hrs nur Nutten arbeitet, war nett, uns zu helfen, um sich zu bewegen und hoffentlich die Sicherheitsgesellschaft, die sie arbeiten, um die lange Stunden und gute Arbeit, die sie diesem Hotel bieten. Von den übrigen gibt es nichts zu beschweren, die Gesamterfahrung war gut, hätte groß sein können. Danke, Jungs nochmals. Hoffentlich besuchen Sie bald!

Excellent stay here. You couldn’t ask for a better location in Polanco. It’s in the heart of the neighborhood surrounded by restaurants and only steps from Parque Lincoln. The hotel is in a renovated apartment building, and they did an outstanding job. Great attention to detail and hotel is beautiful, modern and comfortable. Besides the location, the highlight of this hotel is its personalized and warm service. Angel the concierge is exceptional and Rodrigo at the front desk was most welcoming and helpful. A couple of negatives were the mattresses….way too soft with a lot of padding along with a very spartan gym….they could add some more equipment. Other than that, I have only good things to say about Kimpton Virgilio.

Unfortunately I am not staying in the hotel but go every morning to the hotel’s restaurant for breakfast, and for ice latte in the afternoon. The staff is amazing! Friendly, polite, attentive! Green juice is fresh and tasty, cappuccino is great, just like ice latte. I had avocado toast with poached eggs for breakfast, which was perfectly prepared, got some fresh fruits before. Really healthy and tasty for a really good price. The restaurant looks nice and has a chic vibe! I will keep coming back until I’m here on vacation. I also go the the hotel’s gym every day which is very well equipped and clean, has a lot of space and types to free weights, cardio and weight machines to use.
