Hotels in der Nähe von Casa de la Cristiandad, Mérida

I discovered this little hotel on one of the travel websites. I was unsure about it because knowing people have different expectations of what is good for them and not others. Here is my honest review with pictures. it is in just the perfect location 5-6 city blocks from the main Plaza in the centre of town. This means you are outside the noise zone. The walk to town to the plaza is completely straight so there is no chance of getting lost. LOL The room is and has everything I need to be comfortable. Mine has a king size bed, a flat screen TV, a safe, open closet with hangers, 2 side tables, free bottles of water and more water in the lobby. A window, air conditioning unit, a compact bathroom that may put some people off because of the, let's call it ”coziness” of the size of it. For me I am over 5”9” so I am tall but still for me I was fine. This hotel is immaculately clean, the rooms are spotless, the staff are fabulous and will guide you what's on in town, where to eat, tours, you name it they will guide you. They are lovely beyond and feel like family. There is fresh coffee in the lobby all day and night and a roof top patio with some hanging lights with a lovely breeze because Merida gets hot. The only thing I would like is a small fridge in my room, and maybe I will put my request in. The reason I say that is because this is my second visit here and I have already booked my third stay. For the price, the location, the cleanliness, the kindness of the staff there is nothing else I need to feel safe and be happy. I can spend all my time concentrating on Merida what to see and do here.

Hotel is located very near to the center, offers free parking and the staff is very nice. For the price you should be satisfied. However, for the 4 stars claimed, there are few areas of improvement. The isolation is bad, you can hear all other guests. The drains are kind of clogged so water keeps gathering in the bathroom. The bed, although it‘s advertised as a double bed, can hardly accommodate two persons, even if they are hugging. There were also some bugs in the room, not cockroaches but still, so there is a need of some measure there. All in all, a good place if you want good value for money and be central in Merida.

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht über unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Wir haben in vielen Hotels geblieben, und diese hat gerade enttäuscht. Das Zimmer ist sehr laut, es klingt ziemlich viel wie die Leute auf der Straße und in den Hallen des Hotels sind in Ihrem Zimmer. Das Bad ist sehr einfach und nicht gut gepflegt, und wenn Sie hoch sind, können Sie nicht einen normalen Sitz im Toilette haben (die Wand ist so nah an das WC). Das Personal greift Ihnen kaum, wenn Sie durch den Vordertisch gehen. Ich denke, sie sind einfach wirklich gut beim Bildern für booking.com; vor allem des Pools (was auch eine Enttäuschung war).

ACHTUNG DIESES HOTEL BEGEHT BETRUG WARUM? Die Zimmer sind zum großen Teil alle Tag und Nacht durch laute Maschinengeräusche im Gebäude gestört, an Schlaf ist kaum zu denken, da diese plötzlich lauter und leiser werden in der Nacht. Das Schlimmste: Das Personal weiß davon und vermietet die Zimmer (alle Zimmer nach hinten hin) zum gleichen Preis. Der Manager lässt sich mehrfach verleugnen und auch die coolen Mitarbeiter von booking.vom lässt er eiskalt ohne Einsicht stehen. Danke nochmal an booking an der Stelle für die Hilfe. Lage: Das Hotel liegt auch nicht zentral sondern ca. 10min von allen Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt in einer miesen Ecke. Lediglich der Ado fährt gegenüber ab. Das Frühstück kann man sich sparen. Einzig gute an dem Hotel ist dass es LQBTQ Mitarbeiter unterstützt. Ich kann dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen. Reine Abzocke.

Just spent 2 nights here but found the hotel to be well connected with free parking, shopping and restaurants; what else do you need? It is actually connected to a shopping center that has a Walmart. We ate at two of the three restaurants located in the mall and found others that we tried as well. Nice décor and good size comfortable rooms. Hope to return one day.

Ich war am Anfang und am Ende meiner Reise nach Progreso, am 28. Februar und am 30. März, als ich spät kam und früh verließ. Beide Zimmer waren unglaublich sauber, die Einrichtungen wurden geliefert und gut mit Handtüchern gelagert. Die Kleider sind riesig und enthalten ein Eisen und eine sichere groß genug für einen Laptop. Bei meiner ersten Eincheckung wurde mir die Zeit des Restaurants angeraten und freundlich gefragt, ob ich die Nahrung oder Alkohol von außen bringen wollte, um es in meinem Zimmer und nicht im Restaurant zu essen. Das ist nicht unvernünftig, man würde nicht in ein Hotelrestaurant zu Hause gehen und mit einer Pizza und sechs Packungen sitzen. Ich hatte eine komfortable Nachtruhe und ein leckeres Frühstück im Restaurant am Morgen. Die Auscheckung war um Mittag und mein Fahrrad kam erst um 2:30 Uhr, so dass sie mein Gepäck gut gelagert haben und ich genossen, während ich wartete am Pool. Mein zweiter Besuch war für meinen Rückflug, ich bin nach 3 Uhr angemeldet und wurde eine Wache und eine Taxi-Arrangement angeboten, um mich zum Flughafen zu nehmen. Ich habe meinen letzten Urlaubstag mit einem späten Mittagessen/Frühessen und ein paar kalten Getränke am Pool verbracht, bevor ich zu meinem Zimmer zu früh wechseln ging. Meine Wache kam genau um @4:00 Uhr und mein Taxi war da um @5:00 wie gebeten. Ich würde sicher zurück in dieses Hotel und empfehle es, das Personal ist hervorragend, das Hotel ist spotless und das Restaurant Essen und Service sind fantastisch. In öffentlichen Bereichen waren immer Maske erforderlich, es sei denn, Sie essen oder trinken, diese Politik wurde von allen Mitarbeitern und Gästen eingehalten.

Muy bonito y cómodo, para el costo está muy bien. Y cerca de todo lo que necesitaba para el momento. Fui por I trámite de SRE y estaba muy cerca. Y cerca del paseo Montejo donde fuimos a cenar. En realidad está muy cómodo y sin nada de ruido. Las camas y las almohadas estaba muy cómodas
