I had an amazing experience staying at the Mercure Doncaster! Firstly, the room was beautiful, clean, and fit for my short-stay business purposes. What I was most impressed by however was the customer service! My colleague and I needed to find a last minute venue for a business meeting with international clients, and the staff at Mercure very kindly accommodated us with one of their available meeting rooms free of charge. The room was spacious, well-organised, modern and the technology was extremely easy to use! The staff support and amenities allowed for a seamless experience which we were very grateful for. A special thank you to Isabella, the Reception Manager who saved the day (even offering to extend my checkout time to suit the time of our meeting).

Stayed here for 2 nights on a quick trip to Melbourne. Very comfortable bed and plenty of room in the walk in wardrobe for your luggage and clothes. Little tight getting around the bed however nothing major. Plenty of room in the living kitchen area. Close to Woolies and walking distance to city and South Melbourne. Would stay here again

I have stayed in the US with 'The Standard'. New York City and Downtown LA. I learned about the Hollywood one when an Architecture student. I was a bit let down when i stayed there. Both the staff and decor. Yet loved the other two. I'd already found a US chain I really like. Dependable, beautiful design, comfy beds. So I was very pleased to see a Standardx on my way to see some music the week before. I had to go back to the same venue and one other on the northside the next week. The price was very reasonable. The staff were great. Its just such a great area with great food and music and the perfect treat night for a local or a traveller.

Es liegt im Stadtzentrum. Wenn Sie zum ersten Mal einchecken, gibt es auf der linken Seite viele Einkaufszentren zum Essen und Einkaufen, auf der rechten Seite jedoch relativ wenige. Wenn Sie alleine sind, nehmen Sie den Skybus-Doppeldeckerbus für 22 australische Dollar in die Innenstadt, kaufen Sie ihn am Bahnhof mit Ihrer Kreditkarte und er fährt ohne Zwischenstopp direkt in die Innenstadt. Steigen Sie aus und nehmen Sie die Straßenbahn vom Bahnsteig direkt gegenüber der Straße für zwei Haltestellen, drehen Sie dann an der Kreuzung um und steigen Sie auf der anderen Straße in die Straßenbahn um, nehmen Sie die Straßenbahn für eine Haltestelle, steigen Sie bei Baidu Map Navigation aus und gehen Sie ein kleines Stück . Achten Sie in Australien darauf, auf der linken Seite zu fahren, und fahren Sie nicht auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite. Die Straßenbahnen sind in dieser Gegend kostenlos, Sie können also einsteigen, solange sie an diesem Bahnsteig halten. Straßenbahnfreie Flächenkarte hellblauer rechteckiger Bereich. Die Rückfahrt zum Flughafen auf dem gleichen Weg kostet mehr als 23 australische Dollar. Dies ist die schnellste und wirtschaftlichste Variante. Wenn Sie damit vertraut sind, können Sie Ihr Ziel in 40 Minuten erreichen. Ein Taxi zum Hotel kostet mehr als 70 australische Dollar, und ein Uber kostet fast 50 australische Dollar mehr. Da in der Nähe seit gestern Straßenbauarbeiten stattfinden, müssen wir einen Umweg in Kauf nehmen, um in das Geschäftsviertel zu gelangen. Obwohl das Zimmer etwas klein ist, ist es nicht mit den aktuellen inländischen Zimmern zu vergleichen. Ich weiß nicht, ob es modernisiert wurde.

Nice location. Easy access to any attractions in town. All within walking distance. Friendly staffs and good environment. Second time staying here after 2019. Still as good as before. Recommended if your are on a budget trip. Worth the price.

Very convenient, close to Victoria Market. Walkable to South cross station. Many shops nearby, 7/11 just down the street. There’s a Sarawak and Indonesia restaurant nearby within walking distance. Room was neat, but without any much necessities like toothbrush comb etc. Friendly staffs.. quiet place.

A new and charming hotel, in the district of Docklands in Melbourne. Excellent location, very calm and quiet, next to a Tram Station, free ride to several places in the city, including downtown, walking to the Docklands and the Marina. The room was comfortable and specially clean, great king bed, nice shower with good amenities. Amazing infinity pool with a great view, sauna and a equiped fitness center. The breakfast has great quality, excellent food and beverages. The highlight are the staff, very attentive and friendly, the general manager Mr. Christian, is always available and present. One of the best lounge in Marriott Hotels. The M Club has a super nice atmosphere, excellent options for food and drinks, excellent wines and a chef in the morning preparing a very good breakfast. Congratulations to Fazeel and his team, they are ALL spectacular. I recommend André I'll be back. Thanks to all the wonderful human being from this elegant Marriott Hotel.

My wife and I operate a small coach tour company, and have done so for the last 28 years. We offer residents of Sydney, the Central Coast, the Southern Highlands, Canberra and Queanbeyan, the opportunity to travel on a variety of tours, ranging from four days to ten days in length, to different areas in Eastern Australia. Last week, a group of our passengers from these areas travelled on a seven-day tour to Victoria. During the tour, our passengers stayed for four nights at the Novotel Melbourne Preston. We certainly have no complaints or regrets about using this Hotel for our group’s stay! When I first contacted the Hotel in September 2023, about the possibility of using it for my tour group’s accommodation for this tour, my enquiry was treated with genuine enthusiasm. I was put through to the Sales Manager, Ms Michele Kerrigan. Michele was amazing to deal with. After a steady stream of telephone conversations and emails during the next few days, the accommodation was booked, and the menus for all the dinners during this stay were locked in. At some hotels we’ve used over the years, this process can take weeks, and it can be quite a frustrating experience. At this Hotel, it was the exact opposite. So, a huge ‘thank you’ to Michele, for making this all so easy for us as tour organisers! After all the arrangements we finalised, and the booking was locked in, Michele passed on our booking to the Sales Coordinator, Annalise Dimase. Once again, Annalise was an absolute delight to work with! Between the finalisation of the booking, and the date of the group’s arrival, we spoke many, many times on the phone, and exchanged many, many emails. In all my dealings with Annalise, she was professional, personable, helpful, patient, and attentive. On a few occasions, when Annalise was unavailable, I was transferred to Nada, another member of the Sales Team. Again, Nada was wonderful to work with. When our tour group arrived at the hotel, Michele, Nada, and Annalise were all there to greet the passengers. They were very impressed by the warm and friendly welcome offered to them by this team! Once inside the Hotel, this level of service was experienced in all sections. The reception staff, the housekeeping staff, the restaurant staff, the chef and kitchen staff were all friendly, welcoming, obliging, and helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to any tour groups requiring accommodation in Melbourne. Judging by our experience, it would be difficult to surpass the level of attentiveness and friendliness offered by the management team and staff, the quality of service, the degree of comfort, and the attention to detail our group received during their stay. Awsome, ein kürzlich renoviertes Hotel ca. 30 Minuten außerhalb von Melbourne CBD. Unspottlich sauber, gut gepreistes Hotel mit sehr komfortabel klimatisiertem Zimmer. Auch ein willkommenes Getränk, eine unerwartete Überraschung. Das Hotel liegt nur etwa 150 m vom Bahnhof entfernt. Das Hotel verfügt über einen hervorragenden Bistro für Mittagessen und Abendessen. Das gemeinsame Badezimmer ist auch super sauber und gut gepflegt.
