Nice location. Easy access to any attractions in town. All within walking distance. Friendly staffs and good environment. Second time staying here after 2019. Still as good as before. Recommended if your are on a budget trip. Worth the price.

Das Vic Hotel liegt im CBD und ist nur wenige Gehminuten von der City Circle Tram entfernt, einem kostenlosen öffentlichen Nahverkehrssystem in Melbourne, mit dem Sie viele Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt erreichen können. Das Hotel ist außerdem nur 3 Gehminuten vom Regent Theatre, Chinatown und den Einkaufsvierteln entfernt. Ich kann es jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der zum ersten Mal nach Melbourne kommt, egal ob Alleinreisender oder Familien …

Das Hotel wurde am 3. und 4. Juni geöffnet. Neues Hotel, so wie erwartet, sauber und gut gepflegt. Das Zimmer war ziemlich klein, aber das Bett war sehr komfortabel ( 2 Könige Singles zusammen gedrängt), das Badezimmer war eine gute Größe mit großer Dusche,die hatte eine Hand gehalten Kopf,sowie regen Kopf.Kein Wächter, aber hatte eine Eisenbahn, die rund 6 Kleidung hängen.. Connie, die am Vordertisch war erstaunlich, sehr hilfreich und nichts war zu viel Problem.Sehr einfach.und schmeißlos Einchecken.. Lage des Hotels war großartig, ein Stein werfen zum Vic Market ,und Restaurants. Wir werden in Zukunft zurück sein, und empfehlen Sie dieses Hotel ... 2 Thumbs up ...👍👍

I have stayed in the US with 'The Standard'. New York City and Downtown LA. I learned about the Hollywood one when an Architecture student. I was a bit let down when i stayed there. Both the staff and decor. Yet loved the other two. I'd already found a US chain I really like. Dependable, beautiful design, comfy beds. So I was very pleased to see a Standardx on my way to see some music the week before. I had to go back to the same venue and one other on the northside the next week. The price was very reasonable. The staff were great. Its just such a great area with great food and music and the perfect treat night for a local or a traveller.

Das Hotel ist ziemlich neu, in Dockland (letzte Haltestelle der freien Zugzone), nur 20 Minuten mit freier Zugfahrt zur Stadt, große Transporteinsparungen. Wir haben 2 Queen Bettzimmer für 3 Personen, kostenfreies Wasser, kostenfreier Kaffee. Auch hatte Pool und Fitnessraum im Niveau 6 Highly recommend place for people who want to travel around Melbourne cbd

Alles über diesen Ort sagt Motel, nicht 5 Star Hotel. Mangel an Hausaufbewahrung - unser Zimmer wurde in 7 Tagen zweimal gereinigt und nicht gut. Wir haben endlich aufgefüttert und gefragt, um saubere Handtücher. Als wir bei der Rezeption anreisen, gab es andere Gäste, die sich über ihre schmutzigen Zimmer beschweren. Fünftes Restaurant - das Frühstücksbuffet war schrecklich. Es gab keine Omelettebar oder sogar eine Basis Pancake-Maschine. Keine Option für Barista-Made-Kaffee, das ist ein Minimum in jedem “5-Sterne-Hotel”. Strato Restaurant - wir reservierten das für eine besondere Gelegenheit. Es gab keine Anerkennung. Sie setzen uns an einem Tisch neben der Küchentür und in einem Ecke mit keiner Aussicht, obwohl ein guter Eckestisch leer ist die ganze Zeit, die wir dort waren. Wir warten jeweils 30 Minuten für 2 Kurse und wir essen noch 30 Minuten nach der 2-Stunden-Zuweisung. Die Atmosphäre wurde ständig durch die Küche schreien “Service bitte!” Nur oben war das zusätzliche Brot und kostenlose Mocktail, die sie uns angeboten, ich nehme an, aufgrund des langsamen Services. Langsamer Aufzug - wir mussten eine zusätzliche 15 Minuten für unsere Abreise zuweisen, wenn wir das Zimmer verlassen. Armer Service - wie bereits pro gesagt, der Service war sehr schlecht, wenn Sie ihn mit einem anderen 5-Sterne-Hotel verglichen. Es war durchschnittlich, wenn Sie denken, Sie sind im Motel. Zusätzlich war der Service im Lobbybar, weil sie Trainingspersonal waren, lächerlich langsam. Wir warten 15 Minuten auf sie, 2 Weine zu servieren. Die Empfangsstelle war auch aus Gutscheinen (ein Teil unseres Pakets) herausgelaufen und sagte uns, später zurückzukommen und zu sagen: „Wir haben vergessen, einige unserer Gutscheine zu holen“, anstatt ihre Fehler zu erkennen. Lage - wir wussten, dass das geht, aber es ist ein langer Spaziergang in die CBD und Sie brauchen eine Myki-Karte, weil die nächste Tramhaltestelle außerhalb der Freizone ist. Zusammenfassend: Vermeiden Sie diesen Ort, wenn Sie Luxus suchen. Wir haben das für eine besondere Gelegenheit gebucht und waren sehr enttäuscht. Das einzige gute ist die Ansichten von einigen Teilen der Restaurants.

Die Lage ist gut, wenn Sie zum Konventszentrum gehen müssen, da es nur etwa 6 oder 7 Minuten flachen Fußgänger. Die junge Frau aus Michigan am Concierge war SUPER hilfreich und freundlich. Und die Kontrolle in der Mitarbeiter waren freundlich, wissensvoll und freundlich. Das Zimmer war eine gute Größe, das Königsbett war komfortabel, viele Kissen und ein Untergeschoss machte das Bett schön zu kommen. Die Fensteraussichten waren nichts Besonderes, als wir einige Gebäude und eine Autobahn sahen. Das Hausbetreuung hat eine tolle Arbeit mit der Entnahme von Kleiderschranken, der Ersetzung von Handtüchern und immer sichergestellt, dass wir Wasser, Creme und Kaffee/Espresso hatten. Zimmer mit Zahnbürsten, Mundwasch, qtips, Duschegel, Bar-Seife, Shampoo und Klimaanlage. Es gab einen Haartrockner, ein Kühlschrank und eine Dusche mit einem Regentyp Duschekopf. Front Desk hat Adapter zur Verfügung, wenn Sie nicht mit einem. Überall war es ein guter Aufenthalt Nicht viele Geschäfte (Gemüse oder Komfort) in der Umgebung, aber es war super einfach, einen Uber zu bekommen.

Awsome, ein kürzlich renoviertes Hotel ca. 30 Minuten außerhalb von Melbourne CBD. Unspottlich sauber, gut gepreistes Hotel mit sehr komfortabel klimatisiertem Zimmer. Auch ein willkommenes Getränk, eine unerwartete Überraschung. Das Hotel liegt nur etwa 150 m vom Bahnhof entfernt. Das Hotel verfügt über einen hervorragenden Bistro für Mittagessen und Abendessen. Das gemeinsame Badezimmer ist auch super sauber und gut gepflegt.

My wife and I operate a small coach tour company, and have done so for the last 28 years. We offer residents of Sydney, the Central Coast, the Southern Highlands, Canberra and Queanbeyan, the opportunity to travel on a variety of tours, ranging from four days to ten days in length, to different areas in Eastern Australia. Last week, a group of our passengers from these areas travelled on a seven-day tour to Victoria. During the tour, our passengers stayed for four nights at the Novotel Melbourne Preston. We certainly have no complaints or regrets about using this Hotel for our group’s stay! When I first contacted the Hotel in September 2023, about the possibility of using it for my tour group’s accommodation for this tour, my enquiry was treated with genuine enthusiasm. I was put through to the Sales Manager, Ms Michele Kerrigan. Michele was amazing to deal with. After a steady stream of telephone conversations and emails during the next few days, the accommodation was booked, and the menus for all the dinners during this stay were locked in. At some hotels we’ve used over the years, this process can take weeks, and it can be quite a frustrating experience. At this Hotel, it was the exact opposite. So, a huge ‘thank you’ to Michele, for making this all so easy for us as tour organisers! After all the arrangements we finalised, and the booking was locked in, Michele passed on our booking to the Sales Coordinator, Annalise Dimase. Once again, Annalise was an absolute delight to work with! Between the finalisation of the booking, and the date of the group’s arrival, we spoke many, many times on the phone, and exchanged many, many emails. In all my dealings with Annalise, she was professional, personable, helpful, patient, and attentive. On a few occasions, when Annalise was unavailable, I was transferred to Nada, another member of the Sales Team. Again, Nada was wonderful to work with. When our tour group arrived at the hotel, Michele, Nada, and Annalise were all there to greet the passengers. They were very impressed by the warm and friendly welcome offered to them by this team! Once inside the Hotel, this level of service was experienced in all sections. The reception staff, the housekeeping staff, the restaurant staff, the chef and kitchen staff were all friendly, welcoming, obliging, and helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to any tour groups requiring accommodation in Melbourne. Judging by our experience, it would be difficult to surpass the level of attentiveness and friendliness offered by the management team and staff, the quality of service, the degree of comfort, and the attention to detail our group received during their stay. We recently spent 2 nights here & booked via booking.com. The hotel stands out like a gold shimmery beacon in a flat landscape but there is no signage to indicate how to access the place. It’s mainly occupied by residents so isn’t like a conventional hotel - this isn’t obvious at booking. There is no contact number so after doing laps of the block I ran out to the front door to see a mobile number for the manager on duty. He opened the underground car park door & we parked. Then checked in where he told us that there was no parking associated with our booking. He ended up finding a spot 20 minutes later. The room was nice. New, clean & had everything you need. The indoor pool needs to be prebooked which wasn’t told to us and the reception hours were different to what the print out of information they gave us at check in. The area has plenty of Asian cuisine options and little else. Finding a coffee or a cafe for breakfast on the Saturday morning was impossible - there’s just nothing open (except maccas). Overall everything was just too difficult & not smooth. Last thing you want after traveling for 12 hours.
