Location for this hotel is superb. The hotel managed to maintain its traditional looks from the outside and also the inside. Service from everyone working inside is also really good.

Lovely short stay for a first visit to Liu Men hotel. Room was ready on arrival and we enjoyed a relaxing drink in the lobby after our journey. Ray did an excellent job of welcoming us and explaining the hotel facilities. Room amenity is fully equipped. Zul & his team provide wonderful services. Breakfast was well presented with excellent coffee. Will come visit again!

Great service , they follow up your arrival and sending thank you card to you after checkout. Premium room amenities and complimentary chips, snacks, fruit basket. Shower pressure is slightly low to my liking. The parking not secure and food is something that really need to look into. Prawn wasn’t fresh during my 1st breakfast, second day served me brunt and greasy roti canai. I have expectations on a room that cost 450 a night in melaka.

Liu Men hotel is the best hotel we have ever stayed in malaysia. It is a class of her own. Totally unmatchable in terms of service, cleanliness, hotel aesthetics, qualities of amenities ( great quality and reflect the hotel’s philosophy of aesthetics & charm) location ( short walk to Jonker street and easy access to the main shops) , surroundings ( clean and relatively safe) etc. Within 5 mins upon booking, a text message was sent to my phone with useful information and greetings. The Receptionist Alethea is excellent, friendly and highly attentive and helpful with information about the hotel and the places of interests in Malacca. The humble and unassuming porter Mr Asri, served a unique welcome drink ( a sweet & tart tamarind juice mixture) and refreshing cold towels to my wife and I to allow us to freshen up at a hot afternoon check in. A rather spacious but undeveloped & stony ( lots of small stones) carpark at the backyard of the hotel was made available ( do note that one must inform and book the parking lot with receptionist a day before arrival). Peaceful and restful stay. A peranakan batik cloth handfan was given to us as a lovely souvenir for this charming hotel. It will lovely if the price can be cheaper.

If I could award more than 5 stars, I certainly would. The overall experience is truly outstanding; I couldn't ask for more. The staff consistently radiates a positive attitude, always wearing smiles and ready to serve. It's challenging to find any faults in their service. The location is strategically placed where all the action unfolds. The rooms are not only comfortable but impeccably clean, equipped with everything one could need. The food is beyond amazing—I couldn't ask for anything better. Without a doubt, I'll be returning.

Even I have inform earlier about my incident for cancellation in advance, the hotel management not allow to cancel or offer alternative solution to us. Please make sure you able to confirm your trip before u make the decision to book this hotel.

Perfect location. Car park was not sheltered and this might be a problem when it rains. It was noisy at night due to proximity to Jonker street. Noise will stop at around 11pm? Other than that, bed was comfy with 3 pillows. We will definitely stay there again.

I think this hotel as a short stay in old Malacca is fine, location is simply perfect! Cleanliness and service were also top-notch, but the fact it's a converted old house means the facilities are limited. The rooms are also not sound proof, and early morning, you can smell coffee brewing and bread being toasted at the eatery downstairs as you wake up. Ear plugs were provided, presumably because the management knows of the mosque nearby will have prayer calls in the morning, and also the proximity to the night market in the weekend can mean lots of late-night noise. That did not bother too much, but my sister and her husband were affected in their sleep.

a wonderful hotel, it becomes always the first option when next time we travel to Malacca. Next staffs and nice facilities, a good moment to stay and relax.

From booking to check out, the experience has been lore than wonderful. KHAIRUL from front desk was awesome. The room, breakfast and amenities are spot on. Love this place.
