This hotel worst as I'm arrived to check in & call for assistance but the operator don't even can assist me due to language as i don't know how to enter the building. Even i rang the ball the door can't opened and waiting for 1 hour just in case operator will come down to open the door. I'm try again to call and request to check in however the don't entertain as I can't speak spain. I need to find another hotel as I'm arrive late from the long flight. I'm so frustrated as try many way and ask local people how to enter and event the restaurant beside building don't know if the address of hotel it's correct. I need to cancel the booked and due to tired and jet lag I'm manage to comms with customer support after I'm wrongly book date another hotel on the same day. It's really make me sad as my booking been deduct from that hotel management or i don't know if Trip management did that. I'm looking for explanation and get back my money.

Excelente ubicación a menos a pie de 10 minutos de la estación de Atocha. Es un lugar ideal para hacer noche y seguir tu viaje o si piensas estar todo el día visitando Madrid y buscas un alojamiento económico cerca de Atocha, Cibeles o el parque del Retiro, etc. Nuestra habitación era muy sencilla con lavamanos, plato de ducha y toallas. El baño estaba fuera de la habitación y compartido con otros huéspedes, en nuestra opinión el baño estaba bastante limpio.

I don’t normally use hard words like that but this experience made me to… It’s not so much the terribly sad rooms with dirty towels and clogged shower, but rather the ‘service’ that made sure I would NEVER go back there again. There was this guy who received us, he’s tall, has grey hair and wears glasses, that was so antipathetic and rude, it blew my mind. First he never introduced himself and asked for our passports. I asked for his name and he said it was ‘Mel’. While he was filling the registration form there was this awkward silence and then he just mumbled: “Sign here, Koko” (which is my surname). No ‘please’ or ‘miss Koko’ or just my first name, no, just like in some concentration camp, the tone of voice and the gesture, it gives me shivers as I remember it. Then he let us to our room. In a couple of minutes he asked us to come to pay which I did with my debit card. Then I’ve heard him mumble to my partner: “ Next time if you book with an invalid card your booking will be cancelled”. (I used my valid prepaid cc which had no funds on it to maken booking. I knew that since the payment is done on arrival I would be able to pay with my debit card) As I overheard his threatening tone I peaked out of the room to ask what was going on. My partner stood frozen in shock from Mel’s rudeness. Then Mel goes and says to my partner: “You’ve heard what I said. You speak Spanish so now go and it to her”. This while I am also fluent in Spanish and spoke to Mel in Spanish… : / We decided not to go into discussion since we were going to spend a night there, but his attitude is just unacceptable. I would have gladly left at that point, but we have already paid and were low on money…so though luck. But I would not recommend this place to anyone. You deserve better! There were better options available, like other hostels that are new, clean and more hospitable. I dare to say that this was the rudest service I have ever experienced and it really affected me negatively. I wish you never have to go through anything like this. Not sure what made this Mel so awfully rude, but such people need to be banned from the hospitality industry. I wish I had red the reviews before going there…

Una mala experiencia empezando por el anfitrión que es una persona prepotente y maleducada, habitaciones paredes manchadas, camas incómodas como piedras, ducha para personas súper delgadas, mucho ruido, en fin lo peor que pude experimentar, reservé dos noches y la segunda noche la pasamos en otro hotel de al lado. La página con la que reservé las habitaciones no debería proponer este tipo de sitios con tantas reseñas malas.

Terrible experiencia. Es insalubre, indigno, deprimente, incomodo, sucio, viejo, con mil cosas rotas, indiscreto, diminuta la habitación que nos dieron interior, con una ventana a un pasillo. La ducha, el armario, los enchufes e interruptores de la luz todos rotos y con cables fuera. No encerraria en esa habitación ni a una rata en cuarentena. El hombre que nos atendió fue desagradable y prepotente. Nos sentimos fatal en este sitio, por favor, hagan una inspección y cierrenlo!! No se os ocurra reservar por "barato" que parezca. Las fotos en lo que a mi respecta son falsas.

Su situación es fantástica. Pero la habitación demasiado austera.

Estuve un solo día. No tenía instrucciones de como hacer el check-in. Llegué y me abrió una persona alojada. No sabía que esperar o a quien. Una persona llegó a las hora del check-in y se molestó porque había entrado. Yo no tenía idea de cómo era el procedimiento. El lugar es austero. Limpio. Básico. Baños muy limpios. Enfrente del Retiro. A dos cuadras de Atocha. A dónde llega bus desde el aeropuerto. Sin cafetera, heladera o agua. En la habitación hay bcha para lav****. Te guardan las maletas con costo.

Horrible, cet endroit a été le pire que je n’ai jamais fait. Pas de chauffage ni de couette mais juste un drap. Lampe qui ne fonctionne pas. Pas de fenêtre à la chambre
