Etwas außerhalb der Stadtmauer von Lucca gelegen. Hotelsehr sauber. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wir hatten eine äußerst große Suite. Super! Separater Schlaf-/ Wohnraum mit riesigem Balkon. Für italienische Verhältnisse ein sehr gutes Frühstücksbüffett für nur 5,00 Euro!

I cannot say enough about this hotel. It was without a doubt the best hotel of all the hotels we stayed at on our trip…everything from the lobby, location, staff, room size, breakfast buffet, wifi, bed....it was terrific. The website photos are indicative of the hotel, rooms etc. (look at the gallery and you will see photos of the buffet, rooms, common area etc). First, its in a great location in the old town. Half a block and you are in one of the main plazas. 5 min and you are on the main shopping street of Via Fillungo. The hotel is actually on a bit on the edge of the old town…shortly after you come through the main gate ….so it was VERY easy to drive to ..and drive out of..without getting lost on all the small streets (note: we used google maps and it was telling us to turn just as we got to the hotel..but we saw the hotel just a bit down the street in front of us) On leaving I asked the front desk the easiest way to get out and he said, turn left, then another left..then right…and we were then headed out the main gate of the city. Could not have been easier. The hotel is on a small plaza so easy to park in front of it to unload your luggage..and they have valet parking...for a fee. Front desk staff was super helpful throughout out stay. Our room was very modern, with a great bed, plenty of desk and other space, plenty of plugs, and a large bathroom with a big shower. Wifi was fine. Breakfast was by far the best of all the ones on our trip. Plenty of hot food items, many different pastries, cheesecake and other assorted baked items to choose from, smoked salmon, cold meats and cheeses, plenty of different fruits..and on and on. They also have a nice outdoor patio area on the plaza which made for a wonderful start to our day. Overall, I cannot think of any other hotel I would consider to stay in Lucca. This one has it all.

Wir blieben in diesem schönen Hotel für 3 Nächte während einer Hochzeit in Lucca. Wir hatten mit dem Hotel ein Auto vom Flughafen Pisa bei der Ankunft geplant. Leider wurden unsere Reisepläne aufgrund eines letzten italienischen Transportstreiks auf Chaos reduziert. Als unser Flug annulliert wurde, fanden wir endlich einen Flug nach Bergamo 4 Stunden entfernt. Über den Tag habe ich das Hotel über unsere Schwierigkeiten auf dem neuesten Stand gemailt und erhielt ich jedes Mal schnelle und hilfsbereite Antworten. Danke Claudia! Als wir endlich fast 12 Stunden später als erwartet zum Hotel angekommen waren, wurden wir auf eine Suite upgradiert. Das war eine sehr bedenkliche Geste. Das Hotel ist perfekt innerhalb der Wände und ist schön gepflegt und dekoriert. Das Ziel unseres Aufenthalts war es, eine Hochzeit zu besuchen, die über zwei Tage stattfand. Das bedeutete leider, dass wir in diesem wunderschönen Hotel und schönen Lucca zu kurz waren. Das Personal, das Frühstück organisiert (ein Dame vor allem aber leider nicht wissen, wie sie heißt), war bei dem Frühstück so hilfreich, freundlich und effizient. Wir waren so beeindruckt mit Lucca und Hotel Ilaria, mein Mann und ich werden sicher für eine entspannendere Reise zurückkehren, wenn es keine Transportstreiks gibt, mit denen zu kämpfen.

Liebte dieses Eigentum. Ich konnte nicht besser mit der Lage fragen. Wir gingen zu allem. Lucca ist nicht riesig, aber es war gut, in einem Ort zu sein, der in der Nacht ziemlich ruhig war. Wir waren dort für 4 Nächte, die über ein Wochenende gingen. Es gab eine Bar am Ende der Straße, wo eine Menge Leute zusammengekommen und es gab Lärm von dort, aber die Minute das Fenster war geschlossen Sie konnten sie nicht wirklich hören. Es war heißes Wetter, aber das Zimmer war cool, auch mit den Fenstern geschlossen so gut. Es gibt Restaurants und Cafés in der Nähe und es ist ein kurzer Spaziergang zum Piazza Anfiteatro, wo Sie für Essensoptionen verschwunden sind. Unser Zimmer, Flora, war groß. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel, Wasser war warm, WiFi war gut und es ist ein Kühlschrank. Das eigene Gebäude ist ruhig. Wir konnten keine anderen Gäste überhaupt hören. Das eingeschlossene Frühstück ist sehr gut. Es gibt viele zu wählen und sollte jedem passen. Es hat uns für den Tag eingerichtet. Das einzige, was wir gerne hätten, war, einen Teezuschlag außerhalb der Frühstückszeiten zu machen. Nicht eine Beschwerde, aber es wäre schön gewesen. Wir hatten kein Auto, so kann ich nicht auf den Parkplatz kommen, aber es war ein einfacher Taxifahrt von Lucca Station. Die Gäste waren erstaunlich. Sehr hilfreich und freundlich.wir würden sicherlich einen Aufenthalt hier empfehlen.

This was my first holiday this year and I decided to stay at Bagni di Pisa for 5 nights to celebrate my birthday and for a relaxing holiday in a very quiet and tranquil area. And quiet it is as I had very good night sleep all throughout my stay. Bed was comfortable and the Comfort double room I had was quite spacious and lovely decorated. Please bear in mind that this hotel is a typical Italian palazzo with antique furniture but this was a plus for me as it gives the hotel its unique character. I was on half board basis. The food was always good and the food menu and wine list were quite varied also offering typical stuff from the region. WiFi was so and so. The spa area was very good with heated indoor pools. Even the outdoor pool which was my favorite is heated. They offer also sauna and massages and I recommend their massage therapists highly especially a certain Alexandra and Caterina (if I’m not mistaken) - I felt rejuvenated, so thank you ! Housekeeping was done twice a day and toiletries offered were of very good quality. However even though I enjoyed my stay I have some reservations as follows: 1) This hotel is not adults only; 2)Even though the location is lovely and the hotel is situated overlooking the hills it’s quite detached from anything else albeit the train station which is situated just 8mins walk away; 3) At dinner they literally force you to take wine so you feel compelled to take wine - for a person like me who is a bit alcohol intolerant this is quite irritating; 4) Check the final bill when you checkout as you might have differences here and there- in my case there was a huge mistake but it was rectified immediately. I also noticed that prices shown here and there do not include tax- so watch out! 5) There’s no security anywhere inside or outside the building which for a huge place like this, which also caters for weddings etc, is quite unacceptable if not strange!! All in all I enjoyed it very much and I really appreciated the lovely gift the management gave me for my birthday but somehow I felt that there was something lacking. Even though all staff were cordial and friendly I didn’t feel at home…
