My wife and I stayed at Villa Oasis in March, during Pi Mai (Lao New Year). We stayed twice, for a total of almost two weeks. We loved it. The villa complex is built alongside a swampy little lagoon (with no mosquitos, surprisingly), just a 10 minute walk from Phousi Hill, Sisavangvong Street, and the Luang Prabang Night Market. We chose it because Villa Oasis (and nearby Villa Mahasok) are two of the only mid-range hotels near the Old Quarter that have pools. As it happened, Luang Prabang experienced a heat wave in March 2023, so we were exceptionally glad we had the pool to cool off in. The villa is very close to a supermarket, there are many cheap restaurants close by, and you are only a 10 minute walk from the tourist night market, with lots of eating and drinking options. Two Little Birds cafe is only 5 minutes walk and has fantastic smoothie bowls. The rooms were comfortable, with traditional wood decor and small balconies. Breakfast in the open air restaurant was predictable but good. The villa offers free bicycles, which is handy if you want to get to the main restaurant and bar area of the Old Quarter, on the mid section of Sisavangvong Street, or to the restaurants along the Mekhong riverbank. Easily the best thing about Villa Oasis was its staff, who couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. They were absolutely lovely and would do everything possible to make your stay more comfortable. They were quick to arrange airport transfers, taxis, train tickets, river boat tickets, or anything else needed. Nicest was the complimentary refreshing fresh fruit juice that would magically appear in your room or delivered to you poolside when you arrived back from exploring Luang Prabang.

The service is great. The staff are friendly and helpful. They provide free transport around the town area and they also offer us free airport shuttle services. The view of the Mekong River is excellent. One thing that can make the entire experience even better would be a better selection of breakfast.

I would totally recommend this place for a few nights in Luang Prabang as it's close to all the attractions, especially with the night markets around the corner. Owners were super accommodating and helped with transport and luggage.

I stayed here for one night as part of a larger Lao road trip. Having been constructed in 1937 during the French Colonial period, the building (house number 323), is a UNESCO-protected heritage site. Beautiful local hardwood is used throughout the structure and adds a level of charm that many other accommodations lack. The room was clean, large, well-appointed, and comfortable. The hot water, refrigerator, air-conditioning, and wi-fi worked well. The bedding, linen, pillows, towels, etc. were in good condition. I paid $27 USD per night on hotels.com, apparently, the walk-in rate for this same period is $26 USD per night. This is a fair price for this style of budget accommodation. I would stay here again for sure.

The location was also ideal—just a short walk from nearby attractions, making it easy to explore the area without any hassle. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Anlang provides everything you need for a comfortable and stress-free stay. Es ist erwähnenswert, dass die Internet-Rote Cafés, die von einer Familie aus England geöffnet werden, besonders geeignet sind für den Sonnenuntergang und die Erde! Wir haben 3 Nächte in diesem kleinen ”Hotel” verbracht. Die Zimmer sind richtig, sauber, aber sehr geteilt. Das Personal ist sehr nett und trotz der Sprachbarriere versucht, uns am besten zu erfüllen. Für das Frühstück ist nicht etwas außergewöhnliches zu erwarten. Es ist abends zu bestellen, wenn man Eier will. Sonst sind wir eine Gruppe von 12 Personen, die allein im Hotel, und es fehlt eine gewisse Organisation trotz des guten Willens des Personal. Es musste mindestens 45 Minuten bleiben, um serviert zu werden, und zum Frühstück. Kaffee, sehr gut, ein wenig Butter und Konfitüre für 4 kleine runde Tranchen von Grillbraten, Orangensaft und ein kleines Wachstum. Möglichkeit, Kaffee, Orangensaft und ein wenig Brot in + zu bestellen. Sonst, entlang einer Straße ist also ein wenig Lärm, aber die Lage ist interessant für Spaziergang, Besuch etc.. richtige Aufenthalt

Das Hotel war sauber, die Angestellten waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Sie hatten bereits Erfrischungen auf unserem Zimmer, was sehr praktisch war, und das Beste daran war, dass sie unser Gepäck und Gewicht aufgeben und den Gepäckanhänger erhalten konnten, da sie Verbindungen mit Lao Airlines hatten. Das war definitiv ein Plus. Wir mussten uns überhaupt nicht beeilen, um an unser Gepäck zu kommen, und sie bringen einen zurück zum Flughafen und stellten sicher, dass wir wussten, wohin wir mussten. Ich würde dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall jedem empfehlen.
