for what i paid it was ok. let down by little things, no orange juice for 3 days. dirty cups and trays, needed light bulb changing which was done quickly but chalet was left UNLOCKED, NOT ACCEPTABLE, staff friendly and helpful, food ok, needs update in entertainment and tables and chairs in bar. bar prices high

Thankyou Pontins for a wonderful country music break .We stayed in a club chalet ,it was very comfortable. The entertainment was superb especially the Shania Twain tribute and the food was good with plenty of choices for both meat and non meat eaters The staff were all very helpful and friendly too ,We had a lovely time, hope to come back soon.

Going to need another holiday to recover. Rooms are bad really bad .Bathroom even worse ..Did not find the reception staff very welcoming 🙄. Food OK jacket potato's were lovely ..Sadly a lot of greedy people with plates over flowing .I heard some people have little choice after the greedy people take what they want ..Shows were good .Beach access is very dangerous I felt take care .. Some guests were lovely especially the elderly ones .Beware the chalets only have one pillow per person 🙄. Lovely fish pond and baby 🐰 bunnies running around ..Beding was clean as were the towels ..No protection on the very uncomfortable bed .

Just returned from 3 night weekend I was suprised I thought it was gonna be bad reading reviews we didn't pay much so new we wasn't getting the Ritz ( where can you go 3 nights in august eat as much as u like breakfast and dinner for £200 a couple ) the mattress was hard so I took a duvet with me to put on top but you can hire free just leave a deposit which you get back when you leave. 4 nice white towels provided to the chalet we was in was spotless the press button shower bit of a pain but it's better then if somebody don't turn if off the place would get flooded a kettle microwave cup plates knifes forks etc all there what else do you need for a cheap break the staff are so nice very friendly and helpful at checking in and staff who work on site cleaners. restaurant .bar staff etc all very cheerful.entainment was not so great but as IV said it was cheap especially for August I didn't use local shop as Morrisons is 5 mins walk away and didn't use swimming pool this time it's a shame it's closing at the end of the year I like Suffolk and it's a good place to stay for sight seeing round the area as bus stops right out side camp .if anyone thinking of going give it a go before it closes I'm sure your be surprised.i wish all the staff at pontins the best of luck in there future after it closes you all done very well and your a nice bunch people

Worst place I have ever visited, chalet was old unkempt and dirty, holes in sheets beds pushed together with terrible matress and pillows, to shower you had to keep pushing a button in, it leaked all over the floor wardrobe pushed in front of mouldy wall, skirting boards filthy, food was a school dinner theme, some choice but no taste In any of it. Gardens were unkempt. Can't comment on Entertainment as stayed away as much as possible. Pontins should be ashamed of this site. The actual location and surroundings are lovely beautiful beach.

I went with family and friends for the decades four nighter. Rod Stewart tribute was fabulous. The Eagles tribute was a bit loud for me. The Bluecoats show Vegas was amazing! They are all so talented and are always doing some activity or joining in on the dance floor and having a laugh or chatting with people. So much to do there. Did the quiz, played crazy golf and bingo this time but so much on offer. The Happy hour from 3 till 7 at the bar is an added bonus! Jo behind the bar was such a lovely lady, so friendly and made me smile. Food was tasty, hot and plenty of it. Our Club chalet was clean and all that we needed. Lovely walk along the beach. All the staff there are friendly and helpful when needed. All areas were clean and tidy and always being checked. It is such a shame it is closing at end of December for holidays as we have had such good times here and will miss it

Loved the whole 70’s themed weekend!! The place was full of happy, contented people having fun!! Food was honestly brilliant. Pool is lovely and warm. Played table tennis and of course we all loved the dancing!! The acts were superb (like West End quality). Couldn’t fault the whole experience. Come and have FUN here yourself!! Oh and our club room was spotless and everything provided that we needed. Staff brilliant! Thank you and Well Done Pontins!! 👏🥰

Thank you to all domestic staff for....clean tidy chalet..clean fresh towels..nicely folded..fresh clean sheets bed made up..enjoyed 7nights comedy weekend brilliant many laughs..top acts..variety show..Blue Coats ..Thank you you are all brilliant making our stay wonderful..entertainment..Tom Jones tribute act....meals breakfast buffet style..evening meal help yourself ..Salmon...delious...hot.. cold drinks....chocolate fudge cake ...with chocolate sauce ...Big Thank you for all dining staff....just to say each and every member of staff are so helpful and friendly..enjoyed also Crazy golf...Loved the beautiful beach..😎😀....Lorraine and Eric..see you soon ..I 😀😀

Horrendous place avoid at all cost . Food disgusting and inedible for all meals . All over cooked or swimming in grease. Would leave a zero star if I could but sadly can’t. Filthy room had to clean the shower before we used it but as all the water did was trickle out couldn’t even get clean.
