Im Zentrum von weniger als einem Kilometer vom Sanctuary/Grotto entfernt. Eine Fahrt ist nur um die Ecke des Hotels, die direkt zur Hauptstraße führt. Es gab vier von uns und wir hatten zwei Zimmer -- ein Familienzimmer mit vier Betten und ein Einzelzimmer mit einem Doppelbett. Meine Großmutter war am nächsten Tag nicht gut. Da unser Zug nach Paris nicht bis spät am Nachmittag verließ, baten wir um eine Verlängerung der Zimmer und bezahlten für die zusätzliche Zeit. Die Anfrage wurde gut empfangen und sehr effizient von den Leuten auf dem Vordertisch behandelt -- ich denke es ist der Eigentümer und ihr Sohn. Die Zimmer waren sauber und die Badezimmer waren auch sehr spotless mit gutem heißem Wasser. Sie servierten ein volles und schmeckliches Frühstücksbuffet -- Getreide, Obst, Brot, kalte Schnittstücke und Eier plus Kaffee und Saft. Sehr guter Preis für Geld. Das Heiligtum/Grotto ist eine zehn Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Wenn Sie am Abendprozess teilnehmen, schließt der Aufzug um 11:30 Uhr, so versuchen Sie, einen Bergwandel zum Hotel zu retten.

Durchschnittliches Hotel in einem guten Ort. Der Hauptgrund für die 2 Sterne ist die Klimaanlage. Ich würde nie ein Hotel ohne Klimaanlage buchen. Wir haben es funktioniert, aber es konnte nicht unter 23 (möglicherweise eine dieser Dinge, die Hotels tun, um Strom zu sparen) und dann die Anzeige auf der Wandkontrolle gerade verschwand und konnte nicht wieder aufgeschaltet werden. Wir sagten, dass sie es ansehen würden, während wir da waren. Zurück von Abendessen zu finden, dass noch nicht arbeiten und zu spät, um wirklich etwas zu tun, weil wir zu Bett gehen mussten, als wir früh verlassen. Schreckliche Nacht schlafen, Zimmer so heiß, aber das Fenster öffnen lassen in viel Lärm und Licht. Sehr schlechter Service.

Wir reisen mit dem Hosanna House und Kinder Pilger Trust nach Lourdes auf Pilgerfahrt. Hotel Croix des Bretons war für die Woche unser „Haus“. Wir haben hier 7 Nächte am Ostern-Wochenend verbracht - die erste Woche der Saison, und das Personal konnte nicht mehr vorbereitet werden. Von der warmen und freundlichen Willkommen, die alle unsere ungewöhnlichen Anfragen wie sie absolut aus der Mühle laufen, bis zum Buffet-Stil-Essen, das erfrischt und gut war. Ehrlich gesagt, ich möchte nicht wohnen, dass Francois, Sabine & das Team nicht verwalten. Das Hotel selbst ist wirklich sauber, die Zimmer sind komfortabel, vor allem die Betten, mit zusätzlichen Schranken in den Wäscheschächten, wenn es nötig ist. Das Badezimmer war geräumig und super sauber, unser Bad mit einer Wanddusche. Das Personal im Restaurant war nett, sorgfältig und sorgfältig. Ich weiß, dass, wenn ich nach Lourdes, von mir selbst außerhalb des organisierten Pilgertums, das Hotel Croix des Bretons der erste Ort wäre, den ich suche, zu buchen. Grazie Francois! Quite difficult to find when arriving in a car, especially disabled. We did find a disabled place right at the top of the street, but it is very hilly. You can reserve a parking space at the hotel for a charge. When walking down the street to the hotel, do not take the first entrance into the little court yard, but the second into the reception area. Here we were greeted very warmly and the location of the hotel is excellent, near to the grotto, centre and shops. We decided to eat in the hotel the first evening and the food was very good and reasonable. The second evening to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary from advice we are at the restaurant Alexandria, at the top of the street. Quite expensive, but the food was amazing. Breakfast the usual continental affair, though a lack of fresh fruit and a little mundane. It is also well worth taking the little white tourist train, which you board down in the centre, but also stops right outside the hotel and stops at various places including the candle factory. Our accessible room although with a hugh wet room, was really quite bleak with no view or adequate shelving in the bathroom. The bed was comfy, but far too low and following a recent knee operation, was a nightmare to arise from and although on the whole we enjoyed our stay, I was definitely glad to leave it after three nights.

This trip was just me and my Husband this time for our 40th Wedding Anniversary and we always wanted to stay at this Hotel as we have been in many times before to have a drink in the bar. As it was just the two of us we had our own choice of hotel so you can imagine we were excited to book and stay there. We booked a deluxe room overlooking the garden. The room was not deluxe it was not what we expected even down to no bed side tables or any drawers in the room the wardrobe rail was very short hence creasing our clothes, for this reasion, I asked to borrow an iron for 5 minutes but got told by the receptionist to wait in reception till someone came to show me to the pressing room in another building. I waited 20 minutes no one came so I gave up and never asked again. The first morning there was no hot water so cold showers. I heard the receptionist saying to another guest who was complaining about the same issue that it would be fixed later that day. Which it was. The tea tray was very sparce one breakfast tea bag each and one sugar each with a very small pod of milk not enough for a decent cup of tea. To add the biggest insult there was two wooden sticks to stir the tea not even a proper spoon in a deluxe room? We took the small stool out of the shower to put our tea on whilst we sat on the 2 dirty chairs on the balcony. We have had far better variety of breakfast from every other hotels we have stayed in lourdes. When we arrived we was told we did not have to book evening dinner in the restaurant so on the actually day of our 40th Anniversary we went down to the restaurant but was told no room even though the restaurant at the time was half empty. We had a lovely meal in another Hotel. To top it all when we got home our Children told us that they contacted the hotel reception to ask could they order a surprise bottle of champagen on the day to be sent to our room they was on the telphone to them for an hour but hit a brick wall as they would not take payment from them. I do not normally write reviews but after receiving a welcome written note from the Staff when we entered the room saying Happy 40th Wedding Anniversary we hope you enjoy your stay and if there is anything you need our staff is to hand. this letter was accompanied by 6 macaroons on a plate. Hotel has not even answered reviews on there website shows they do not care and its not a cheap hotel.

The lady at the reception was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely helpful polite and very accommodating. 10/10. I'm sorry I didn't get her name. But she was just great!!! The rooms are more basic than you could imagine. Bedding was well made and clean. Hygiene was not great elsewhere. Lack of toilet paper etc was not a great start but not a complaint. There was a ”stink” in the bathroom, I discovered it was toilet brush . The pool area was acceptable. The breakfast for €12 was ok, not fantastic. The location was a bit far from the Grotto. We had to get a taxi each night as after a day of walking in the town centre the walk uphill was too much for any if us. The overall facilities are in need of repairs and an option to purchase a box of basic items would have been good, such as coffee butter milk etc.

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe von Geschäften, Restaurants und etwa 1.1km vom Grotto (10-12 mins walk) Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und sehr willkommen, insbesondere Chris, Thiago und Fatima. Es wäre schön, als Accor-Mitglied willkommen zu sein. Chris war super freundlich und schlug Dinge zu tun und zu sehen. Frühstück jeden Morgen war angemessen und tat den Job. Es besteht aus Krusten, Pfeffern, Kuchen, Joghurt, kalten Schnitt, Käse, Marmalade etc mit frischem Kaffee und auch Auswahl an Kaffee. Das Frühstück ist kontinentaler, so warten Sie nicht auf ein volles gefülltes Frühstück (Sie zahlen, was Sie erhalten) Die Zimmer sind schön und sauber. Die Zimmer haben internationale Reiseplug angeschlossen; sehr handig. Das Zimmer war jeden Tag serviert, es war platzlos ( dank einer wunderbaren Hausbetreuungsteam). Es wäre gut, einen Kaffee/Tee/Kettle im Zimmer zu sehen, um leicht zugänglich zu sein. Das Bett war super komfortabel und hatte einen guten Schlaf den Rest der 2 Nächte, die erste Nacht des Schlafes war miserabel (die Türen schlafen, die Wände sind dünn, so können Sie die Kommunikation hören und in den anderen Zimmern sagen, Kinder schreien bis 1am). Das Telefon im Zimmer funktionierte nicht, ich konnte nicht einmal um ein Zimmer bewegen, die Zeit der Nacht.Da ich die meisten Zeiten war, war es mir nicht viel stört, aber jemand, der Schlafprobleme hat, könnte manchmal etwas lauter sein. Fragen Sie ein Zimmer im Rücken (wenn Sie vielleicht auf 530am mit Lärm von den Küchenfans aufwachen können). Es gibt keine Nahrung auf der Website, so dass wenn Sie ein Bit zu fangen, nehmen Sie Ihre beste Wette (es gibt einen Chipper über die Straße und einen Kebab Platz). Die gepflegten Mahlzeiten sind bereit zu essen und benötigen eine Mikrowelle, um sie zu erwärmen (nicht etwas, was ich in einem Accor-Marke hart ibis sehen möchte ist ein mittleres Hotel). Ich wurde von dem Personal am Desk über diese neue Politik informiert. Insgesamt eine gute Erfahrung und empfehle das ibis Lourdes Hotel für einen kurzen Besuch.
