Travelodge London Beckton

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The windows in the room do not open at all, which makes it impossible to get any fresh air. On top of that, the air conditioning was not working, so the room was extremely hot and stuffy. It felt suffocating, and it was very hard to sleep or relax in such conditions. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values comfort and proper ventilation.

I should prelude to this review by saying I've stayed in Travelodge around 60 times and never written a review before. I had an amazing experience at Travelodge with the dream team managed by Martina and Irene. All of the staff were really friendly and the kitchen team were particularly efficient. Things seemed a little against the duo when I was there with the AC down and a power cut but despite that, they presented a friendly atmosphere and made us all feel at home. Thank you ❤️

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, especially Irene, Vanessa and the reception staff. Breakfast was great and we looked forward to it each morning. The air conditioning stopped working in the hotel so the room was HOT, on top of that the shower curtain is so short that the bathroom nearly flooded after my shower

Paid for a super room which was comfortable. Initially had an issue with the room as the AC wasn't working however this was very quickly rectified by Elias who swapped rooms to one which had it's AC working. Morning breakfast was ok, as to be expected. They did run out of beans which is unfortunate especially if your vegetarian. However Irene was very friendly. The staff made this stay great and made time to speak to you.

We’re currently staying at Travelodge Hotel Beckton, and overall, the experience has been pleasant thanks to the wonderful staff. Everyone—from the reception team to housekeeping and kitchen staff—has been polite, professional, and helpful. The receptionists are welcoming and quick to assist with any issues, while the cleaning staff do a great job keeping the rooms and common areas spotless. The kitchen staff have also been fantastic, maintaining a clean breakfast area and ensuring fresh food is always available. However, there are a few concerns worth mentioning. The air conditioning in the rooms is not working, which makes the rooms very warm and uncomfortable, especially at night. Adding to this, the windows cannot be opened, which means there is no natural airflow or ventilation. This has made the rooms feel stuffy and a bit claustrophobic. This could be a real issue for guests sensitive to heat or in need of fresh air. Despite these problems, the staff are doing their best to accommodate guests and maintain a high level of service. If the ventilation issues were resolved, this would be a near-perfect stay. We’re still enjoying our time here, largely thanks to the fantastic team on site.
