Bei diesem Hotel überzeugt hauptsächlich die Lage. Man ist schnell bei der U-Bahn oder zu Fuss an ein paar Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Zimmer sind okay. Toll fanden wir, dass man im Hotel gratis Trinkwasser beziehen konnte. Leider hatte unser Zimmer kein Safe, die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht wirklich und das Badezimmer war halt typisch britisch. Der Fitnessraum bietet gerade das Nötigste. Für einen kurzen Trip nach London sicherlich zu empfehlen. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt würden wir es vermutlich nicht mehr buchen.

Ich habe diese Reise zu meinem Finanzgeburtstag gebucht. Das Hotel ist veraltet, was uns bewusst war, und es gibt keine Probleme, aber wenn Sie etwas Modernes suchen, ist es nicht der richtige Ort für Sie. Die Aufzugstüren klebten sehr, ließen sich offenbar nicht richtig öffnen und rochen übel. Das Einchecken war ok, wir gingen in unser Zimmer, dessen Heizung auf Hochtouren lief und die Temperatur 39 °C anzeigte. Wir versuchten, das Fenster zu öffnen, aber es wurde nur von einer Schraube geschlossen. Das Bett war sehr bequem zum Schlafen, aber wir blieben nur eine Nacht, also war es nicht so schlimm. Am nächsten Morgen wurden wir dadurch gestört, dass die Zimmermädchen um 8 Uhr morgens unser Zimmer betraten, Hallo sagten, es dann schnell wieder verließen und dann durch die Flure saugten und gegen die Wände und unsere Tür schlugen. Wir erzählten der Rezeption davon, wurden aber von einem unhöflichen Mitarbeiter begrüßt, der auf eine andere Dame zeigte und dann wegging. Die Dame an der Rezeption sagte, sie werde noch einmal mit der Zimmermädchen sprechen, also hört es sich so an, als ob das häufig passiert. Wir beschlossen dann, zum Frühstück zu gehen, und erfuhren, dass es 15 Pfund pro Person kostete! Anscheinend können Sie beim Einchecken das Frühstück zu einem ermäßigten Preis von 12,50 £ kaufen, aber niemand hat es uns beim Einchecken gesagt oder angeboten. Wir haben beschlossen, woanders zu frühstücken. Alles in allem hatten wir eine gute Reise nach London, aber wir werden dieses Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen oder jemals wieder zurückkehren. Ich wünschte, ich hätte etwas mehr ausgegeben und wäre in ein besseres Hotel gegangen.

Der Standort war phantastisch. Sowohl nahe zu U-Bahn-, Bushaltestelle und Taxistandort. Tate Modern und St. Paul´s Cathedral sind um die Ecke. Auch gibt es ein sehr schönes Café (rouge) mit Blick auf St. Paul´s nebenan als Frühstücksalternative. Abends ist das nahe gelegene außergewöhnliche Restaurant Ivy Asian zu empfehlen. Das Spa im Hotel ist für müde Gelenke nach einem langen Besichtigungstag sehr angenehm. Man wird hier nicht zum Zimmer gebracht und das Hotel ist groß und verwinkelt. Es hat etwas gedauert, bis wir das Zimmer im hinteren Teil gefunden haben. Der Safe im Zimmer ist in Höhe für Riesen angebracht. Die Rezeption war telefonisch vom Zimmer nicht erreichbar. Die Wassertemperatur in der Dusche schwankte permanent zwischen zu heiß und kühl, also besser baden.

Wunderbar als Startpunkt für alle Highlights in London. Nicht günstig, aber vergleichbare Hotels in der Lage sind teurer. Die Einrichtung ist überwiegend sehr gelungen. Stylish ohne übertrieben hip zu sein. Der coole Alex leitet die schicke Bar aufmerksam, das gesamte Serviceteam und Management von früh bis spät ist nett und zuvorkommend. Zimmer gut, Essen gut, Drinks gut. Einzig das Raumspray im Flur bitte weglassen oder ändern. Freue mich aufs nächste Mal.

Eine sehr gute Option, wenn Sie in einem Hotel in der Nähe aller Hauptsites in London bleiben und nicht wollen, um eine Lebenszeit-Schuld für sie zu bekommen. Plus das Ding ist erstaunlich, vor allem Adnana von der Rezeption, die freundlich und hilfreich war.

Familie 3 Kinder im Familienzimmer. Sehr groß, sauber, alles da, was man braucht. Unser Zimmer war noch nicht renoviert, kein Problem der Preis hat gepasst!!! Der Rest des Hotels wunderschön renoviert. Westflügel Zimmer werden wohl erst renoviert, dann wird es sicher teurer. Personal unglaublich freundlich, sehr, sehr nett alle und hilfsbereit. Danke vor allem an Isabel für die Freundlichkeit beim Abendessen. Wir kommen wieder🌞

This is a great hotel to choose from definitely one of the top-notch in service. I took my mom stay at this hotel for one week we have arrived in the very early morning hotel has arranged early check-in at 9:30 AM accommodating my 80 year old mom, which is very heartwarming. This hotel has the style , the design and history, as well as the best service all in one. At night time I have requested to add a blanket for my mom as she feel a little cold the housekeeping brought a blanket that was pre-warmed up. They really pay attention to details in service. I highly recommend this hotel to anybody who loves rich history, as well as beautiful artsy designs. After I stayed at this hotel, I think will never possible. I will always put a rosewood hotel as my top choice. 

This hotel was about a 15 minute walk from the King cross station and situated in a rather isolated location from public transports such as the Underground and bus stations. Personally, i found it a little inconvenient to having to walk to those stations despite the price. The room's ambiance was nice however some of the facilities and other things in the room was not up to standard. For example, the lamp was broken, amenities were only supplied for two the whole stay despite the reservation was for three, and the sheets had stains and was torn too. Breakfast was a buffet style English breakfast, which was quite nice and reasonable.

The rooms were very loud- as other reviews have mentioned. We stayed in the pods and they were clean and cool with the changing coloured lights! The beds were super hard and pillows extremely flat- but pretty standard for a hostel. They also had no clean towels for the first day we were there. The location was amazing. It wasn't the most friendly hostel and felt hard to meet people- but over all, worth the cost! Also, THEY HAVE AC!! huge bonus points for that.. and considering the incredible location and cheap cost, I'd recommend.

Really nice welcome from staff both at the concierge desk and reception. Even a glass of sparkling wine on arrival in some lovely cut glass 'vintage' style glasses. I'm not normally a sparkling wine fan, but I enjoyed this one. I'd love to know what it was but I forgot to ask! Room was very nice, and based in the more modern 'Barlow' wing. Not quite the historic side of building alas - felt very much the servants quarters of the hotel! But room had charm still, and everything is of an incredible quality. Also in the room was a really lovely postcard with a welcome message on it, and a St Pancras themed chocolate bar, utilising some of the mosaic patterns from around the hotel and station in its design. I especially liked the 'hidden' plug socket on the bedside table, which was in the perfect place for my overnight charging stuff. It was also delightful having a very large round dining table in the room, it was nice to grab lunch downstairs, bring it back to the room and eat it at a proper table whilst relaxing in peace and quiet. The windows in these rooms do not open, unfortunately. It would have been nice to have had at least a vent option available to us, but the A/C did keep a fairly consistent temperature. Platinum benefits ended up being a slight room upgrade, and late check out. It was originally 3pm, but I checked again in the morning and 4pm was now possible due to some early checkouts - this was a huge relief as that extra hour meant we could have a much more relaxing day as it timed perfectly for our onward travel. As a platinum member, I was granted access to the chambers club. Wow. Simply wow. What a space! Easily the best lounge I've visited. Absolutely super, the staff amazing too. I was just sad I only really got to experience when it was just about to close for the evening, and the breakfast, and not any of the famous early evening selections. At the time of writing (March 2023) the Chambers Club is open from 0700 to 2200 with Breakfast from 0700 to 1100 weekdays, 1200 on weekends. The evening service is between 1700 and 2000, and Hors-d'oeuvre are served from 1730 til 1930. (It is self-service between midday and 1630). At breakfast the next morning a bountiful supply of anything you could think of at a breakfast buffet. The only disappointment was the eggs. I think a kilo of butter went into every batch. But. I’ve yet to find a single luxury hotel that does scrambled eggs correctly at the buffet so I cannot judge too harshly. And when that D'Longhi toaster goes to 'small electrical appliance heaven', I hope it gets replaced by a Dualit. I went on a self-guided walking tour of the hotel in the morning too with help from some of the staff by way of directions. The highlights being; The grand staircase, which is an engineering wonder in itself and worth the climb, And on the 1st floor you are rewarded with the painting of The Garden of Deduit by the Scottish artist Thomas Wallis Hay.
