Good location, I can walk to victoria fall, good hotel but the telephone in my room is broken so I have to walk to reception everytime that I need something

WiFi,早攴，二樓有露台，有浴缸，有個大花園近觀動物，可以步行去舔瀑布，住客免費入園，就係價錢高了點

Wir waren 3 Nächte im Avani Victoria Falls Resort, um die Victoria Falls zu besichtigen. Das ganz große Plus dieses Hotels ist, dass es direkt am Eingang zu den Vic Falls in Sambia liegt und man als Hotelgast freien Zugang zu den Falls hat (der sonst 20 US $ kostet). Das Hotel liegt innerhalb eines Tierparks und Zebras, Giraffen, Impalas und Affen laufen frei herum. Das Hotel und die Anlage sind in afrikanischem Stil gestaltet. Zimmer geräumig und die Bäder sehr schön. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen, das Essen im Poolrestaurant ist etwas einfach, ober schmackhaft. Der Service könnte etwas effektiver sein, ist aber sehr freundlich. Alles in allem ein guter Ort, wenn man die Vicoria Falls besichtigen möchte. Auf dem gleichen Gelände befindet sich noch auch das Royal Livingston Hotel (5*), wenn man es gerne etwas nobler hätte.

Die großzügig angelegte Hotelanlage im afrikanischen Stil ist ein Wohlfühlort! Wir waren nun schon das zweite Mal da. Mit direktem Zugang zu den Victoria Falls sowie zu dem durch einen kleinen Pfad erreichbare Schwesterhotel The Royal Livingstone. Dort kann man wunderbar abends oberhalb der Fälle dinieren oder einfach den Sonnenuntergang und die Strömung des Sambesi betrachten. Überall auf der Anlage laufen Tieren wie Zebras, kleine Äffchen oder Impalas herum. Diese Mal sogar Giraffen im angrenzenden Gelände. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. WiFi funktioniert überall auf der Anlage gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich und es werden auch viele herzhaften Speisen angeboten.

We stayed here on a Riviera Tour just for one night but really we needed two. I didn't realize that if you walked out of the back of the hotel grounds you are literally steps away from the entrance to Victoria Falls & entrance is free to hotel guests. Plus you don't have to go far to find the wild life either as Zebras, Monkeys & other animals wander around the grounds. Rooms are ok, air con works, WIFI is better at the reception area than in the rooms but we managed.

Brilliant location and comfortable rooms. It’s much cheaper than its neighbour which I think is pure luxury but you can literally walk to the Victoria falls and Zebras are waiting outside your room. Food was average but you must book the chopper to get the top view of the majestic falls.

I live the Avani Victoria Falls Resort because it's a lively place with so much to do within the resort. The poolside is always fun in the evening, especially when they have a live musician performing. Another highlight is walking along the many paths around the resort. Discovered a new path that leads to the riverside. You can also cycle around the resort as bicycles are available to hire. The only downside of our visit was that the first room didn't have a working television, and then we were moved to another room that had issues with the air-conditioning. This is the only time that I've had such issues at this resort. Team Avani, please make sure everything works before assigning a room to a guest!

Pretty much everything you see in the photos is spot on. We had a ground floor room initially right next to our buildings entrance. We enjoy sitting outside on the little patio chairs. Standard room is good sized, large bed, very large bathroom and counter. all the things I look for when researching places. Staff and security guys very friendly and helpful. One reception guy helped us decide whether to ship or not (kinda expensive). TV reception initially was very bad. after speaking with the front desk and deciding we didn't like greeting everyone that came and went in our building we were moved to another room that night. 2nd room faced the wooded area in back and much more peaceful and secluded. watched the animals (zebras, monkeys, antelope) wander thru in the morning. Of all the places we visited the morning buffet was the BEST, so much to choose from. Ate most of our meals by the pool (limited menu) as we were just too tired to stay up for evening dinners. Highly recommend going to the Royal Livingstone Hotel for sundowners, its an amazing property right on the Zambezi. walking from the Avani is actually easy as its closer than I thought. definitely would stay here again, I cannot afford the Royal Livingstone :((
