TripGeo Guesthouse

I would never use this place again. No instructions as to what to do on arrival, no lobby or reception area at street level. I was only able to get sorted because a resident was entering and assisted me in contacting the person supposedly on duty. The following things were advertised and non existent: Breakfast, terrace and in my case no television. Keep away

l could not believe that the owner of the hostal does not allowed The customer to use light in room on day time even in the such dark property.

This was by far the worst experience ever in 3 decades of travel. We booked this place being a last-minute decision to go to Lisbon on a trip to Spain. Craziness started before we got there, the plane was an hour late so got a barrage of texts from the owner asking when we were getting there and that he wanted 30 euros for 15 minutes late check in, and in cash. Also, some 2 euros a night per guest fee in cash. The place is not a guesthouse, but a rundown personal residence of "CEO" Jose and he rents out 3 rooms. We were told we must share dirty bathroom with 6 other guests while our reservation showed private bathroom. Next morning, I went looking for "front desk" as it says in the description, and it was nowhere to be found. There was a cat in the owner’s room crying all night. I put ********** on the phone so they could hear the cat that the "CEO" claimed did not exist. The toilet was loose, and the smell and stench of sewer and mold was everywhere. Next day we got up to go get breakfast and were followed by Jose. creeped us out completely. When we got back and felt someone had gone into the room and later found some stuff missing. We booked another hotel and left as soon as we could, of course ********** did nothing to correct any of the issues. We lost all the money for three nights plus 48 euros in cash. As we were leaving, the creepy owner kept looking at us from a shop across the road. It’s an abomination that this place is still offered on **********.

Jose is a caring and nice owner. I felt so comfortable and welcoming. The Guesthouse is clean and new. The neighborhood offers good restaurants. Metro and buses are around the corner. Especially if you are a solo traveller I really recommend you Jose's Guesthouse.

I stayed for 3 nights in a twin room. The room is very basic with older furniture, no aircon, shared bathroom for 73 €/night. There isnt much to the place, a small hallway and a bunch of rooms and bathrooms coming from it. Isnt very easy to find from the street as it is just 1 floor of a apartment building. The toilets dont flush properly. The positives was the guy was nice, and the wifi was great. For comparison I stayed my final night up the road for just 12 € more, which included a modern room, tv, aircon, private bathroom, lobby area.

Eh sì, per quanto riguarda la disponibilità a fornire informazioni e la gentilezza nulla da dire, così come per la colazione fatta alla pasticceria/panetteria all'angolo. Ciò che lascia molto a desiderare è la pulizia dei servizi igienici in comune. il bagno maschile non è mai stato pulito durante il mio soggiorno, credo non sia accettabile in sistemazioni con i servizi igienici in comune.
