Wingate by Wyndham Indianapolis Airport Plainfield

Our stay was just ok. The gym thermostat could not be changed and it was HOT in there. It was clean, other guests were very rude and inconsiderate of quiet hours but that's everywhere and not the fault of the hotel

Overall the hotel and stay were good. We came in for a large event and you can tell they rushed to clean the room we stayed in.. crumbs still on the floor and trash under furniture. But besides that everything was good

Our bathroom was pretty dirty. There was mold in the shower, on the shower head, and a huge stain on the floor of the tub. Otherwise, the room was nice, the breakfast was decent, and it wasn’t too far from where we needed to go

This hotel is disgusting. If we hadn’t prepaid we wouldn’t have stayed. The lobby looks nice, if a little dated but nothing else could be described that way. The bathroom had visible mold on the walls and ceiling, the shower had so much hard water build up the shower head looked chunky, and several surfaces were covered in a thick layer of sticky dust. The pull out couch cushions were stained and the veneer was peeling off the dresser and desk. The whole room looked like it was wiped down with a Clorox wipe but nothing more. The bathroom doesn’t have a working fan or a hook for the towels. The bathroom door had visibly been painted over moisture damage. I did not have the continental breakfast but my husband said it was cold. Spend a little more and stay at one of the nicer hotels in Plainfield.

Overall my stay was nice. Other than needing extra towels the front dest person told me i would have to bring my old ones down myself to get new ones. Never stayed anywhere that asked me to do that. She did mention that she was short staff, which was a inconvenience for me because i stayed on the 3rd floor.

Shower faucet didn’t work. Snack area was not well stocked. Vending and ice machines hidden and not enough parking. Was clean and affordable.

The front desk help Wendy, was super helpful. The mattress, pillows and sheets were excellent !!! The tubs need a little attention but a great stay!!

I ultimately chose to just leave in the middle of the night and drive to my final destination. The walls were so thin I could hear conversations, word for word, in the adjacent room. There were stains all over the floor and chipping paint in the room. Generally cleanliness was questionable. Honestly the noise from the adjacent room made it impossible to sleep. For $200+ a nice you’d have some ability to sleep.

It was just ok...no one at front desk when I checked in at night. Only one person there in charge of everything. Just nothing special. Bath tubs are very old.
