Ionian Blue Bungalows and Spa Resort

環境非常不錯，帶着家人出來度假，住的很愜意。也是朋友推薦的這家酒店，離市中心也近便，很不錯的一次住宿體驗。

Vasiliki, Dimitri and team along with the whole ambience of the resort makes the ionion blue a must visit when in Lefkada , my family always return here it’s like coming home . Definitely worth staying !!!The breakfast buffet is one of the best I’ve seen in Greece with a dining area overlooking the blue waters of the ionion , it really does help to leave your stress behind.

Πήγαμε το 3μερο της Καθαράς Δευτέρας, παρόλο που είναι αρχή της σεζόν, τα πάντα ήταν οργανωμένα και ολοι προσπαθούσαν για το καλύτερο δυνατό αποτέλεσμα! Αιχμή του δόρατος η κυρία Βασιλική στη ρεσεψιόν, η οποία με περισσή υπομονή ήταν κοντά να μας δώσει λύση, πάντα με ένα πλατύ χαμόγελο!!!

The air condition doesn’t work in many of the rooms. After complaining several times to the manager wefinally got a room with descent a/c. But the hotel manager was not service minded and talked about getting their technician to solve the problem. But when we talked to another member of the staff it was revealed that the a/c didn’t work on several levels of the hotel. So it’s kind of a scam by trying to pursuade the guests that the a/c will be fixed, but in reality they are aware that the a/c system it broken. Also the entrance level of the hotel and dinner + breakfast area had no a/c and the doors were wide open to trying to get some air into the building. Until they perform some major inves**ents I would not recommend anybody to stay here. To be fair, on the plus side are the amazing views and the new built tree decks by the ocean are really nice. So there’s defenately potential.

We arrived and all seemed ok. Then heading down to our room you notice the whole resort is suffering from age and a lack of maintenance. The gardens are all dry and overgrown with weeks, the lifts shudder, the timber is rotting and paint work is all neglected. The sea views from the infinity edge pool are now precluded by large trees and an ugly metal safety fence. The pool area attendants had packed up almost 3 hours before sunset meaning there were no towels available. To top it off, dinner at the A La Carte restaurant started well, until I found that my chicken dish was totally raw on the inside. (I’m still waiting to see if that comes back to haunt me). In the rooms, the air conditioning doesn’t work, very basic soap and shampoo toiletries are provided. My recommendation is find a newer resort. This one is not worth the drive.

Επισκεφθηκαμε το συγκεκριμένο ξενοδοχείο για το 3ημερο των Χριστουγενων. Μου το πρότεινε ο σύντροφός μου αλλά η αλήθεια είναι ότι αρχικά δεν ήθελα να πάω μετά την ανάγνωση κάποιον άσχημων σχολίων. Τελικά με έπεισε και πήγαμε! Το συγκεκριμένο ξενοδοχείο χτίστηκε πριν από 20 χρόνια και είναι ένα στολίδι για την περιοχή του. Ο εξωτερικός χώρος είναι άψογα συντηρημένος και καθαρος. Αν και χειμώνας το γκαζόν ήταν κουρεμένο, όλα τα φυτά κλάδεμενα, οι τέντες στον χώρο της πισίνας πεντακάθαρες, το ντεκ στην πισίνα όσο και στον χώρο της παραλίας σε τέλεια κατάσταση, τα σχοινιά στα διαχωριστικά κάγκελα ολόλευκα, τα διαχωριστικά κάγκελα στην παραλία μόλις είχαν αντικατασταθεί! Το φαγητό αρκετά καλό, το πρωινό άψογο, το δε προσωπικό ευγενεστατο και πεντακάθαρο με τα ολόλευκα πουκάμισα τους φρεσκοσιδερωμενα. Όσο αφορά τα δωμάτια οι κουρτίνες τα σεντόνια και οι πετσέτες ήταν πεντακάθαρα. Το μπάνιο εξίσου καθαρό. Το νερό στο μπάνιο είναι λίγο θαμπό στην αρχή, αλλά αν το αφήσετε λίγο να τρέξει μετά δεν υπάρχει κανένα πρόβλημα Σίγουρα υπάρχουν κάποια σημεία που χρειάζονται ανακαίνιση όπως το πάτωμα. Νομίζω όμως ότι πρέπει να σταθούμε στην προσπάθεια όσων διαχειρίζονται και δουλεύουν για αυτή την τεράστια μονάδα, και το τι πληρώνουμε για την διαμονή μας στο συγκεκριμένο ξενοδοχείο. Σίγουρα είναι αρκετά λιγότερο το αντίτιμο από άλλα 5αστερα ξενοδοχεία. Ας....."κοιτάξουμε επομένως το δάσος και όχι το δέντρο" !! Went with my family in ending Oct 2022. Got a great deal, and I was so excited. Then I read the reviews. Most of them were dreadful. So I went in expecting the worst. But I was pleasantly surprised. I reached in the evening and it was dark. We we quickly checked in by the pleasant gentleman at reception and shown our room which was good size and clean with comfortable beds and a balcony. Could not appreciate the location and the excellent sea views. But when we woke up in the morning, the views and the location was brilliant. I had hired a car from Ionion car rental which was excellent. Highly recommended. The rooms are arranged on different floors with reception on the top floor with lots of stairs and lifts. Our room was on 5th floor. The hotel is in an isolated location which we knew beforehand. There is an outdoor I finity pool which was too cold to be used although there were some people sitting in the sun but nobody dared to go in. There is a small indoor pool which is also not heated but we used it everyday. There is a small gym by its side which we used as well. We went on a half board basis. The restaurant is good in size and location but the food choice is quite limited especially for vegetarians and food runs out pretty quickly most days. You have to ask the waiters to refill it. There were selection of salads, 2 meat dishes and one veg dish which were mostly the same every night. Breakfast was OK with eggs, cold meats, and cheese n pancakes n breads n cereals n nuts. We used it as a base and saw some lovely beaches. Lefkda is so so beautiful. But overall, I would say, we had a great time and would happily return to this place.

This resort is amazing! Staff and customer service are excellent. Food an hospitality are five stars!
