Hotel Villas Tiburon

The hotel is full of beautiful and curated details and the rooms and overall structure are beautiful. It’s in front of the most beautiful beach of Holbox and has a nice beach club. However Personnel wasn’t very nice.

Primero tuvimos muy mala suerte debido a una tormenta que dejó muchísimo SARGAZO en la playa del hotel, lo que hizo imposible disfrutar de las instalaciones en la orilla del mar. Estaba todo sucio y el mal.olor era insoportable. Tuvimos que ir a otros hoteles y pagar por el uso del club de playa. Hablamos con las personas de administración acerca del tema del sargazo y de no poder usar la playa y no hubo alguna compensación por los gastos extras. Ni un descuento en el bar del.hotel, al menos para estar en la piscina, ya que en la playa era imposible. Es muy frustrante pagar un hotel en la orilla del mar y no poder hacer uso de este, el valor que se paga es mucho más alto que un hotel en el centro. Realmente no les importa que los huéspedes se sientan cómodos ni bien atendidos. Otro punto importante que no tiene que ver con el sargazo son las camas. Tiene un colchón tan duro que no se puede descansar y las almohadas muy planas. No pude descansar bien ni un sólo día. Es segunda vez que me alojo en este hotel, pero creo que será la última. Fueron 5 días en los que no pide descansar bien, no pude disfrutar de la playa y además gasté mucho más dinero del que imaginé.

Die Matratzen auf den Betten sind schon sehr alt, sogar die Drähte fühlen sich sehr unbequem an. Es ist ein Hotel, das zwar teuer, aber überhaupt nicht komfortabel ist. Das Badezimmer hatte keinen Wasserkasten und der Safe ließ sich nicht öffnen. Das ist offensichtlich dass sie dem Hotel keinen Service bieten.

Die schlimmste Erfahrung… Das Hotel ist schrecklich, überall Lärm, Mixer im Nebenzimmer, es wirkt wie in einer Nachbarschaft, auch wenn sie nicht einmal eine Nacht, die ich bereits bezahlt hatte, erstatten wollten, habe ich es vorgezogen, das Hotel zu wechseln, es gibt viele bessere Möglichkeiten die schöner sind als dieser eine Ort, der für uns eine Enttäuschung war

Es ist schrecklich, alt und sehr teuer!!!

Kein Restaurant vor Ort. Wir servieren nur Alkohol, mit einem „Schwimmbad“ auf dem Dach, das von 11 bis 24 Uhr geöffnet ist: große Badewanne, in der bis zur Schließung Musik gespielt wird. Gelangweiltes Personal. Weit weg von der Stadt und sicherlich kein 3-Sterne-Hotel. Das Hotel nebenan ist viel besser.

I almost canceled when I saw the negative reviews but Villas Tiburon is a lovely place. Beautiful gardens. adorable doggie and right on the beach. Yes they dont move the seaweed but I live in SD and Im use to seeing seaweed on the beach. Nice quiet place where you can just relax and enjoy- want more luxury then pay the other hotels around the area their price instead. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a quiet area, right on the beach. It has beach service with food and drink. The Alma bar pool is small and the water is cloudy. The ground pool is quieter and clearer. The grounds are the prettiest around as it looks like you're in a jungle setting. The hotel staff are amazing, especially Ana and Paul. The beach area is the best on the island as the water is clearer here than anywhere else. Only thing is at low tide you have to walk fairly far to reach the water. The upside is there's a beautiful sand bar exposed that you can walk for miles

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. If you kitesurf, this is a great location with a 5 min walk to the kite launch location, but still walkable into town - maybe 15-20 mins. Several restaurants within a 5 min walk. Spaceous rooms. Beds a little firm for me, but that's a personal preference. Great beach. The staff was friendly and helpful.
