Das kleine Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße, fußläufig zum Strand. Wir wurden empfangen wie alte Freunde. Die Zimmer sind ganz unterschiedlich eingerichtet. Garten und Soyer zeigen die Liebe und den "grünen Daumen" von Mariza, der Chefin. Sie gibt ausführliche Infos zu Aktivitäten und Restaurants (Reservierung wird prompt erledigt). Das Corona- bedingte kleine Frühstück wird von ihr selbst serviert. Kaffee und (selbst gebackener) Kuchen stehen den ganzen Tag für die Gäste bereit. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!

Toller Aufenthalt. Super Unterkunft mit super netten Empfang und Besitzern. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Restaurants etc. Sind zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Es ist ein kleines aber feines Hotel. Marisa ist eine herzliche Gastgeberin. Sie ist um das Wohlergehen ihrer Gäste sehr besorgt und hilfreich. Obwohl es sprachlich nicht einfach war, wir kaum spanisch und sie wenig englisch, fanden wir immer eine Lösung. In der Nähe befindet sich ein Pier mit Restaurant, eine Busstation und Einkaufmöglichkeiten. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Muchos gracias Marisa.

One of the most wonderful things about this little family-owned and operated hotel is Marissa. And Elena! They are SO friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location is also brilliant. A 20 minute walk to the main beach and promenade with lots of great restaurants, cafes and bars plus shops along the way. The old city with lots of cultural options is about 40 minutes walk, gentle pace but it is all on the flat and an interesting and pleasant walk. We got a taxi back to the hotel on one day. Plus, the Marina is just a 5 minute walk away. We loved looking at all the boats and enjoyed the many restaurants and cafes there. The rooms are a good size and well appointed. Great, comfy beds and good showers. We were able to access Netflix and Amazon Prime for choices on the tv. Lovely little balcony. We opted for the breakfast each day for stay and it was just right as a light option with very good coffee, fruit, yogurts and toast/pastries. But, most definitely, Marissa’s kind, fun and professional service was just wonderful 🥰

I have visited this hotel many times over the last 27 years and whilst it has always been a bit dates ,the atmosphere and location more than offset this however this year things have gone downhill. Firstly the pool ,which has been modified in a most amatuer fashion to meet disabled access requirements and didn't open until 11am. The bar prices have increased to the piint that we only used the Tren bar during happy hour when drinks due to 2 for one were compatible to surrounding bars. The staff were as usual pleasnt but I guess victims of a situation they played no part in.I never thought I would find myself saying this but we are seriously considering Turkey next year where we can go 4 star AI for what we paid this year for B&B. Such a shame to see this hotel being run into the ground.

Our welcome on arrival was warm and friendly and information and map was given to us to help explore the area. The hotel is in a quiet residential area - 15 minutes walk from Las Canteras and 40 mins to the historical centre. Taxis are plenty and it's only a few euros if you do not feel like walking. Marisa provides a great coffee machine in the lounge area if you need a coffee. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a great shower and a lovely balcony to sit out on. There is a smart TV in the room and you can watch your own Netflix if you feel like a movie night. Las Palmas is a great city - a fabulous beach, shopping, cafes and restaurants. We had a great time and coming back to La Palmera felt like a home from home. We would highly recommend. Thank you to Marisa for her lovely hospitality.

La Palmera boutique hotel is absolute jewel . Modern, comfortable and exceptionally clean throughout. I had the twin room with a good size balcony and beautiful en-suite bathroom. The room was charming and immaculately clean. Very comfortable beds and with a small fridge and smart TV for Netflix etc The host is a very lovely lady who goes out of her way to make sure of your needs also provides a simple but tasty breakfast layout. I would certainly return to the La Palmera with its close proximity to the marinas of Las Palmas and also a short walk to an array of good restaurants and bars. The air conditioning was very quiet and generally I was just very comfortable here. Highly recommended Justin, Cornwall UK
