I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, professional, and willing to help. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made my stay very relaxing. The hotel location was convenient for everything I needed. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would definitely recommend it to solo travelers.

Originally a mansion for a mining baron, the building fell into disrepair until an architect purchased and restored it. The mansion is absolutely beautiful and full of history and antiques. I shared the “Enchanting Turret” room with my older sister. The beds were far enough away that we were afforded ample privacy. The owner, Sheila, lives on the grounds and was a gracious host, offering both hospitality and valued advice about the area. On top of everything, it’s in a great area close to both restaurants and the airport. I give this establishment my highest recommendation.

Ich war geschäftlich dort und auch mit der Familie und es war sehr schön. Sie sind sehr schön und sauber! Tolle Gastfreundschaft von der Rezeption und dem Personal. Sie waren sehr höflich und höflich. Ich weiß, wohin ich gehen muss, wenn ich mit meiner Familie etwas unternehmen möchte, obwohl ich in Birmingham bleibe.

Very close to our venue. The hotel room was clean and spacious . Fresh new towels, refrigerator, cook top, dishwasher, sink, king size sofa bed as a comfy king bed. Hot water and cold Ac to boot. Breakfast was decent as eggs, waffles, grits and oatmeal on our 2 days. Fresh fruit and juices offered along with piping hot coffee. The market for after hours snacks and what nots is sparce. They need help in this area. Staff was polite and friendly.

This place was great...they moved us to a new room bigger room because ours wasn't ready at no extra cost and we were actually checking in early and didn't charge for that either...lovely staff clean rooms and awesome breakfast...at check in they even give complimentary warm chocolate chip cookies and the were amazing...nice touch💜

Das Zimmer war schön. Nichts Besonderes. Hat keine Verkaufsmaschinen mit Pop gesehen und ging zum Vordertafel, wo sie eine kleine Schachtel mit wenigen Artikeln hatten. Hat Wasser gefüllt, aber keine Pop auch bemerkt, dass sie andere Artikel zu verkaufen, aber auch war aus. Wir brauchten nur einen Ort, um auf unserem Weg weiter südlich zu bleiben und es funktionierte gut für uns. Es war ein wenig schwierig, das Hotel zu finden, aber das könnte die Karte auf den Telefonen gewesen sein. Desk Person war nett. Ich hörte sie mit ein paar Leuten sprechen, während wir ins Haus kamen und sie alle anscheinend angenehmen

We wanted to stay in Irondale rather than Birmingham and although this property didn't have great or CURRENT reviews,the description said that it was renovated in 2024 and no other property had a better review. It was indeed updated in some areas and our room was very nicely appointed with new upholstery and modern furniture but it was not clean. There was a layer of dust (construction?) on EVERYTHING and long, dark hairs on the bathroom floor. The window glass was filthy. The freezer was so in need of defrosting that the door would not shut and we were unable to refreeze our flat ice packs. I would guess that no one has stayed in the room since the renovation and the room had not received a post-construction cleaning. The elevator was very dirty,noisy, and a bit scary to ride to the 4th floor. The regular clientele is obviously traveling construction workers. Staff was very friendly but unprofessional.

The hallway smell was over the top. Whatever they use to mask the smell was just awful. Also, when I came back from dinner one night, there was a puddle of water from the a/c. Water was under bed and to the other side of room. Management came and cleaned it up and took care of a/c issue. It was late and didn’t want to deal with that. Wont be going back.

Ich hatte einen angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hotel. Die Zimmer waren sauber, gut gepflegt und mit allen wesentlichen Einrichtungen ausgestattet. Das Personal war professionell, freundlich und immer bereit, mit jeder Anfrage zu helfen. Die Lage war bequem, so dass es einfach zu den Schlüsselbereichen der Stadt zu kommen. Insgesamt war es eine komfortable und problemfreie Erfahrung. Ich würde dieses Hotel sowohl für Geschäftsreisende als auch für Freizeitreisende empfehlen.
