Tolle Wohnung in zentraler Lage, direkt neben dem Bahnhof und in unmittelbarer Nähe zu allem. Sie war geräumig, sauber und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Das Hotel ist ausgezeichnet und der Service ist sehr gut.

Last year I had the most wonderful stay at Menina Colina, and was excited to return. Unfortunately I now wish I had reserved elsewhere, as it has been nothing but a disappointment. Prices are so much higher than a year ago, but I thought I got what was a good deal on the garden room. Turns out it is greatly overpriced for what is offered, as it has none of the exquisite design or attention to detail that the interior rooms have. It also seems to be neglected in terms of maintenance. The coffee machine was leaking, and after reporting it, it was made out to be my fault as I was using it incorrectly. I had to physically show a member of staff the leaked water for them to agree to replace it. I was really annoyed that they felt that they needed to demonstrate to me how it works rather than just replacing it immediately. The next disappointment was that the room was initially not serviced at all, and no explanation was given. When you are paying $165 for a mediocre room (not even including breakfast), one would at the very least expect the bins to be emptied. The bathroom also had a terrible smell that permeated the room, and mosquitoes were a problem too. Management did offer me lunch or attendance of their fado show, but none of these arrangements fitted into my busy programme. I thought a small financial compensation would have made more sense. That did not happen, and nothing further was mentioned or discussed on check-out. The final issue was the online check-out which they require. When I tried to complete it, my bill was for my entire stay, although 3 of the 4 nights had already been paid months in advance. So my conclusion is unfortunately that Menina Colina’s standards have dropped significantly, and that it is overpriced for the lack of attention to detail that is evident in several areas.

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Hotel. Vom ersten Moment an war das Personal freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sauber, komfortabel und bestens ausgestattet, sodass ich mich nach einem langen Tag wunderbar entspannen konnte. Besonders gefallen haben mir die ruhige Atmosphäre und die schöne Aussicht. Die Lage des Hotels war ebenfalls sehr praktisch, da Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants in der Nähe gut erreichbar waren. Das Frühstück war frisch und abwechslungsreich und bot für jeden Geschmack etwas. Insgesamt hat der Aufenthalt meine Erwartungen übertroffen, und ich würde definitiv wieder hier übernachten.

Das Hotel war sauber und das Personal überaus hilfsbereit. Es liegt in einem perfekten Stadtteil und in der Nähe lokaler Sehenswürdigkeiten!

Eines der besten Serviced Apartments, in dem wir je übernachtet haben Dies war mit Abstand das beste Serviced Apartment, in dem wir in letzter Zeit übernachtet haben. Alle Einrichtungen waren brandneu, und die Sauberkeit – insbesondere in Küche und Bad – übertraf sogar manches 4-Sterne-Hotel. Alles, was wir brauchten, war vorhanden, und die Inneneinrichtung war ausgezeichnet. Das Bett war außerdem sehr bequem. Tolle Lage, toller Preis, tolle Ausstattung. Hier sind ein paar mögliche Nachteile, die manche Gäste vielleicht beachten: • Das Internet war sehr langsam. Das WLAN-Signal im zweiten Stock war am stärksten, also nutzten wir es, aber es reichte kaum zum E-Mail-Abrufen. Es fühlte sich an, als wäre die Verbindung absichtlich gedrosselt. Wenn Sie stabiles Internet für die Arbeit benötigen, könnte Tethering über Ihr Telefon sogar schneller sein. • Kein Aufzug. Unsere Wohnung befand sich im zweiten Stock, und wir mussten etwa 30 kg Gepäck selbst die Treppe hinauftragen. Selbst ein kleiner, altmodischer Aufzug wäre eine große Hilfe gewesen. • Lärm von oben. Obwohl die Wohnung frisch renoviert wurde, besteht der Boden noch aus der ursprünglichen Holzkonstruktion, sodass Geräusche aus dem oberen Stockwerk zu hören sind. Wir waren so müde, dass wir mit Ohrstöpseln durchschlafen konnten, aber empfindliche Gäste sollten dies berücksichtigen. Die Buchung einer Wohnung im obersten Stockwerk könnte dieses Problem lösen, bedeutet aber noch mehr Treppensteigen. • Verwirrung beim frühen Check-in. Wir hatten um einen frühen Check-in gebeten, aber dies wurde nicht richtig kommuniziert. Daher mussten wir unser Gepäck im YOUROPO-Büro abgeben, das etwa 6–7 Gehminuten von der Wohnung entfernt ist. Ich frage mich, ob wir unser Gepäck direkt in der Unterkunft hätten lassen können, wenn die Nachricht richtig angekommen wäre – vielleicht könnte jemand vom Team das klären? Trotz dieser kleinen Mängel würde ich dieser Unterkunft volle 5 Sterne geben. Wenn wir Porto wieder besuchen, steht YOUROPO ganz oben auf unserer Liste.

Schönes und geräumiges Zimmer mit Fitnessraum. Die Metrostation ist nicht weit entfernt und die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten im Stadtzentrum sind fußläufig erreichbar.

Alles super, würd ich wieder übernachten. Sehr bequeme Betten. Super nettes Personal.

Location was good: close to Casa da Musica and the main Boa Vista roundabout. The apartment was clean and big enough for a couple nights of stay. The only issue we experienced was the door code system. When we arrived at the property on the first day, the main entrance door was open, exposing the building to theft. On the second day, we couldn’t open the main entrance door using the code provided. (The code worked on the first day.) We messaged the operator using their platform and received no reply. We called the operator but nobody answered the phone. Since it was raining, we walked to Casa da Musica to shelter ourselves from the rain. Then the operator called back and asked us to send a video of what happened of the door code. Since we left the building, we couldn’t take the video. Then they agreed to look into it. They sent us a reply saying that we refused to comply by sending a video. They subsequently asked us to ignore the message and said it was their internal communication and was sent to us by mistake, but it showed that they didn’t understand why we didn’t want to walk back to the building in the rain to take the video they requesed. After an hour of us raising the issue with them, they finally sent someone to open the main entrance for us. The person said the entrance code issue was not new! It was a very bad experience and we wasted an hour. We would seriously reconsider staying in a place managed by this operator.
