We had a very good experience. Everything went well, and we truly appreciate the excellent service. Thank you for making our stay comfortable.

The hotel looks nice, and the staff are generally friendly and smiling, especially the doorman and the guard who were always ready to help get a cab. Its location is convenient, just about 6 minutes away from SM J Mall. However, there were a few disappointments. The photos showed amenities like slippers, but there were none during our stay. The hot shower also wasn’t hot. I originally booked 5 nights for a Superior Executive Room through Trip.com at ₱1,954 per night. Later, I decided to extend for 1 more night, but the front desk charged me over ₱2,900 for that additional night. When I asked why, mentioning that the Trip.com rate was still ₱1,954, the staff advised me to book directly with them instead of using the app, saying it would be “easier.” Unfortunately, that advice wasn’t helpful, and I ended up paying the higher rate. The price difference between ₱1,954 and ₱2,900 for the same room left me very disappointed, and I don’t see myself booking this hotel again.

We had a wonderful family stay at this guest house. There was plenty of room for everyone, and we were really impressed by how neat and hygienic the place was. The location is a big plus – shops, restaurants, schools are just a few minutes’ walk away. For the space and quality on offer, it’s excellent value – far cheaper than getting several hotel rooms for our group. The staff were warm and quick to response to any queries, which made both check-in and check-out easy. Without hesitation, we’d recommend this spot to other families or to anyone looking for a comfortable, self-contained home base.

Ich war hier jeden Monat im Jahr 2013 zurück, als es relativ neu war. Ich liebe es hier damals. Ich gehe zurück 2026 obwohl es eine andere Geschichte ist. Die Einrichtungen sind eindeutig überholt. Kein Buffet Frühstück mehr. Die positive Seite ist jedoch, dass die Menschen wunderbar sind, vor allem diejenigen, die es einen Punkt machen, meine Lebensmittellieferungen in mein Zimmer zu senden. Sie nehmen wirklich das zusätzliche Meilenstein, um das mit Höflichkeit und Ehrlichkeit zu tun. Ich wünsche ihnen nur, dass sie besser mit Lobby- und Rezeptionsbereich machen. Es fühlt sich lebenslos und glücklich. Das Zimmer, das ich im siebten Stock geblieben habe, war aber sauber und ich liebe die Tatsache, dass sie ein Bidet haben und dass sie mit Wasser gefüllt sind. Mein Zimmer hatte eine ”Mini-Küche” mit Badewanne, Kühlschrank und Heizung.

Der Service und die Freundlichkeit waren alte Philippinische Tradition, von der die meisten sogenannten Boutique oder Trendhotels eine Menge lernen können.

Haben dort eine Nacht verbracht die Betten waren total bequem und alles hat gut gerochen und war sauber.

I have few things to say about my stay in RedDoorz New Era. First, I made a request for an early check in 4 or 5 weeks ago because my flight was scheduled to arrive at 8am. I reached at the hotel at around 9am but the reception asked me for an additional charge of 500 pesos which for me was such a big amount considering the cost of the overnight stay. I booked the hotel at US$14 (around 800 pesos a night) plus 500 pesos (around $9). The older receptionist just needs a lot of money. Second, the red pillows were very smelly. I guess they never wash or change it's pillow case cause the sweat of previous guests still stuck in them. Third, The hotel doesn't have slippers so you should bring your own. There's no hooks or anything that you can hang towel or something inside the bathroom as well. And lastly, the housekeeper keeps on shouting and knocking... no, it's banging the door in the morning at around 10:10am just to ask if I am extending my stay. It was very distracting and unethical. If a guest has plans to extend, I guess he/she is responsible enough to inform the receptionist, otherwise, it is understood that he/she is leaving. There's one thing though that this hotel is fair enough during my stay, the am shift guard was quite helpful. Overall assessment is not recommended. You can find a much better hotels (budget hotels) around Cebu city and mandaue.

The hotel was amazing with cool staff. The room was spacious and nice decoration.
