I had such a wonderful stay at this hanok-style hotel that I’m already dreaming of coming back. From the moment I arrived, everything felt calm, welcoming and thoughtfully prepared. The traditional architecture, the soft lights in the courtyard at night and the view over the tiled rooftops created a very special atmosphere that you just don’t get in a “normal” hotel. My room was cozy, bright and spotlessly clean. I especially loved the little wooden platform by the window with the cushions – it became my favorite spot to sit with a book, drink a coffee and look out over the rooftops and mountains. Waking up to that view in the morning and seeing the same roofs softly lit at night made my stay feel almost magical. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. You can feel that they really care about their guests and about sharing Korean culture. The small details, like the beautiful traditional bookmark as a gift, made me feel genuinely appreciated and added a personal touch I will not forget. Overall, this stay was one of the highlights of my trip. If you are looking for a place that combines comfort, authenticity and a peaceful atmosphere in the middle of a hanok neighborhood, I can only highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely love to stay here again.

An amazing once-in-a-lifetime hanok experience!! The place was absolutely beautiful, and our host was the kindest person ever. Their service was amazing, even providing us with a bottle of wine, and free breakfast even though it originally didn’t come with our booking. We visited Gyeongju for 3 nights during the windy winter of February, so some of the pros & cons may not be applicable for other seasons: Pros: - Amazing location: right in the heart of Gyeongju’s trendy hanok district, it is a few minutes walk from Hwangnidan-Gil street, Cheonmachong etc. Despite this district being absolutely PACKED in the weekend, our hanok was tucked in a more cozy, quiet corner, above a restaurant. It was then really quiet in our hanok, and we surprisingly didn’t have any problem of smells from the restaurant downstairs coming up into our rooms. - Clean aesthetic that perfectly balances the vibes of a traditional hanok, and a modern hotel. Suitable for those travelling with older families, for example, who may not be able to sleep comfortably on hard floors. The interior designer for this hanok deserves a raise - Floor heating was done well, and we didn’t feel cold at all despite the winds at night during our winter stay - gigantic TV - host was very kind and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp! - appreciated that the toilet and shower were very clean and modern as well! Cons: - there weren’t any wardrobes, and not many hangers were provided to hang your clothes. It’s only a minor issue, since we had more coats for our winter wear. However, since most people are booking this hanok for short stays, it shouldnt be a big issue either - as we came here via car at night, the parking lot assigned to us was a ~2min walk away from the actual hanok, so it was a bit confusing to locate the parking lot and hanok in the dark at first. - at night, the winds in the winter get quite strong, and so like any wooden house - there will naturally be quite a bit of sound like the wooden door shaking, sound of wind etc. Coming from the city, we were a bit scared and thought there were intruders at first LOL. This isn’t a big problem (especially during less windy seasons), but I think it’s just worth keeping in mind, especially if you are very sensitive to sounds when sleeping. If these cons aren’t applicable or big issues for you, then yes I would more than recommend this hanok stay!!! It’s a rare experience, and hence worth the money imho!

Die Zimmer im Hanok (traditionelles koreanisches Haus) sind einzigartig, klein, aber fein und insgesamt sehr sauber. Es gibt auch eine Gemeinschaftsküche. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer gebucht, aber es gab nur eine Doppelmatratze, was anders war als erwartet – wir dachten, es gäbe zwei separate Decken, was etwas enttäuschend war. Die Lage ist jedoch großartig, direkt in der Hwangritan-ro, ganz in der Nähe von Sehenswürdigkeiten, die alle fußläufig erreichbar sind. Ein kostenloses Frühstück wird angeboten, man muss dem Hanok-Besitzer aber vorher Bescheid geben. Der Besitzer kam sogar am nächsten Morgen vorbei und fragte, ob wir es möchten, was sehr nett war.

Das Hotel ist günstig gelegen und gemütlich. Ich musste zwar anrufen, um einzuchecken, hatte aber Glück, dass gerade jemand mit einem freien Zimmer eincheckte. Sonst hätte ich erst spät abends einchecken müssen, als Trip.com das Hotel erreichen konnte, oder jemand hätte mich versehentlich reingelassen. Das hat meinen Aufenthalt aber nicht getrübt. Es ist sauber, alles ist neu. Es gibt sogar Frühstück, aber ich bin früh abgereist.

Das Hanok war wunderschön, sehr geräumig und komfortabel. Die Temperatur war angenehm. Es gab einen kleinen Außenpool, der aber scheinbar nur im Sommer geöffnet war. Rechts davon befand sich ein Grillplatz mit Tischen. Wir hatten auch ein Lagerfeuer, konnten es aber aufgrund unseres kurzen Aufenthalts nicht richtig genießen. Es war die beste Unterkunft, in der ich je übernachtet habe. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn ich das nächste Mal in Gyeongju bin.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit hier im Hotel Palace. Das Hotel selbst ist in der Nähe aller Sehenswürdigkeiten (zu Fuß erreichbar) und auch mit dem Bus leicht zu erreichen. Anders als erwartet konnten wir vor 17 Uhr einchecken (was ich ziemlich spät fand), ohne etwas zu bezahlen! Außerdem waren alle Einrichtungen super sauber und das Zimmer selbst ziemlich groß. Wie andere bereits erwähnt haben, kann jeder die Cafeteria nutzen, um KOSTENLOS Ramen und Kaffee zuzubereiten und Wasser zu bekommen – das hat mir sehr gefallen. Das Frühstück war einfach, aber gut (Toast, Marmelade, Erdnussbutter, Joghurt, Obst) und ich denke, wenn Sie vor den Gästen kommen und alles für sich selbst mitnehmen, wird auch für Sie von allem genug übrig sein. Ich kann diesen Ort uneingeschränkt empfehlen – das einzige, was toll wäre, wären große Handtücher zum Duschen.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Busbahnhof und dadurch sehr zentral. Das Hotel ist geräumig und sauber und schön angenehm leise. Wir empfehlen es.

Insgesamt war es eine saubere Unterkunft mit gutem Service. Obwohl es nicht viele Essmöglichkeiten im Haus gab, hatte ich einen tollen Urlaub und konnte Sauna und Spa nutzen.

Es gibt eine Elektroauto-Ladestation. Es wird gesagt, dass Frühstück geliefert wird. Das Frühstück ist jedoch sehr schlecht. Es ist nicht geführt und verwirrt. Frühstück ist ein Toast, der kaum gegeben zu werden scheint, weil ich es den Gästen nicht in den Snack-Nüssen zu geben will.
