It was a great stay at this ryokan! The hotel is able to arrange a car to fetch you from the JR station. You can call them using a dedicated phone at the station which is used to contact the different ryokans. The car arrived in 10mins or so. The ride to the ryokan was also less than 10mins. The hotel also fetched us to the station on the last day of our stay. The ryokan itself is homely and cozy. We were greeted by an english speaking staff who introduced us to the amenities of the ryokan. There was also a nice welcome tea and matcha chocolate. Our bags were brought to our room as well during this time. The room is spacious and cozy. The hotel prepared 2 welcome biscuits in the room which was a nice personal touch. The room has a nice living room and a great view of Lake Biwa. Recommend to catch the sunrise over the lake! There are 2 normal beds as well as futon beds (need to set up yourself). Both are comfortable. The hotel also prepared pretty yukata for both female and male guests which you can wear during the stay. There are 4 different designs for ladies, and one design for the guys. You can request for different size if the one in the room doesn’t fit you. There is also a full length mirror and a mini dressing area at the side of the living room. It was fun dressing up in the yukata! The toilet, basin, shower and hot tub areas are all separate. The toilet is a little small, but the basin and mirror area is very spacious. The shower area is quite small as well and the shower head is rather low so you need to hold the shower head if you wish to wash up while standing. There is a small stool given for you to sit down though. The hot tub area is semi-outdoor and you can see Lake Biwa. But it is quite small (only good for one person). It was too cold so we didn’t use the hot tub. Instead, we booked the private onsen for 50mins. The private onsen has a private toilet and dressing area which is equipped with hairdryer, body lotion etc. There is a water dispenser as well if you need to hydrate yourself. The onsen area has a washing area, and the hot tub area is spacious for 2 person. There are privacy screens around the onsen area but there is a small gap to let in cold air for ventilation. Wish there is a good view from the private onsen but it was still enjoyable! Dinner and breakfast was Kaiseki style, and the meals were one of the highlights for my husband and I. We really enjoyed the courses which are clean tasting yet wholesome, fresh and flavourful. It was such a sumptuous treat! The ryokan also has a souvenir shop if you wish to buy anything back. Overall, my husband and I really enjoyed the stay here and we agreed this was one of the main highlights of our 12 days trip in Japan. Highly recommend!

Das Zimmer war sehr gut. Das öffentliche Essen war ok; das Wasser war nicht so heiß und wie ursprünglich. Frühstücksauswahl war ok, kann besser sein und mehr Auswahl haben als Meeresfrüchte. Abendessen war großartig! Das einzige, was fehlte, ist die Lage. Es gab nichts anderes um das Hotel. 2 Tage Aufenthalt war mehr als genug. Es gab keine anderen Einrichtungen oder Veranstaltungen als ein Bad, Fuß/Handbad, glückliche Stunden.

Room is very spacious, comes with 2 sets of facial acre products both for man and woman There's even a 6 CD player with preloaded CDs inside ranging from Jazz to sentimental songs for your relaxation Food are delicious and nicely decorated Every day it comes with some free local snacks like financiers and biscuits One incident that didn't quite went well is early morning after breakfast As we are rushing to head out before housekeeping and there's no more water in the room, we return to the dinning hall and try to ask the staff to help to fill up some water in their provided water bottle. one lady took over the bottle and head to the kitchen to fill up, but we can hear she's complaining to her colleagues about it. Shortly, while handing over the bottle, she signal us to leave. We did so but once just stepped out, she simply slams the dinning hall shut! I was surprised by her reaction. It was quite rude of her to do that. If it's against the regulation, they can rightly say so and communicate upfront than doing this repulsive reaction Overall, a nice stay amid a slight mark on the service rendered

Ohne große Erwartungen angereist, wurde wir sehr positiv überrascht: aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service, tolle Ausstattung des Zimmers wie Hotels, grenzenloses Frühstück, für uns sehr sehr passende Betten. Dann der Blick auf den See - zum Verlieben.

Das ist mein erstes Aufenthaltsverbot in diesem Superhotel. Das Hotel ist sehr nahe dem Bahnhof und leicht zugänglich. Das Zimmer ist groß genug für eine Person und ich mag wirklich den großen Platztisch in meinem Zimmer. Der Service ist nett und Sie können Ihre eigene Kuchen auswählen. In einem bestimmten Zeitraum ist kostenfreies Soft Drink verfügbar. Die Vielfalt des Frühstücks ist nicht so viel wie anderes Hotel, das ich vorher geblieben habe. Das Frühstück ist jedoch für mich gut genug, da es den Lebensmittelstil bietet, den ich am meisten mag - Salat, japanische Eier, verschiedene Arten von gekochten Gemüse und Miso-Soße. Ich beabsichtige, nächstes Mal im gleichen Hotel zu bleiben.

Gosh, where do I even begin? This stay was frankly perfect. The view was amazing, the open-air private bath was amazing, the service was amazing, the food provided was amazing. There’s even a shuttle bus from the nearby station. I loved it. My friends loved it. The staff even ran across the whole lobby lounge from the check-in counter, and did a full dive into the souvenir store counter for us. Most memorable icecream buying experience.

Insgesamt war ich mit dem Hotel sehr zufrieden! Einziger Minuspunkt war das Essen; es war sein Geld nicht wert! Beim nächsten Mal würde ich die zwei im Preis inbegriffenen Mahlzeiten nicht mehr buchen!

Das Hotel ist der Teng Lake, sehr bequem, nicht viel zu essen in der Umgebung, der Strand am See ist sehr schön, die Einstellung des Personals ist sehr gut, die Zimmeranlage ist etwas alt, aber die Pflege ist gut.

Ok. Zunächst lassen Sie Ihre Erwartungen zu Hause erwarten Hotel-Level-Service. Sobald Sie das getan haben, wenn Sie einen billigen, aber sauberen Ort zum Aufenthalt wollen, ist das. Es gibt einen Komfortladen 10 Minuten zu Fuß, so empfehle ich Ihnen, Snacks und Getränke auf dem Weg von JR Ishiyama Station zu kaufen. Für das Abendessen gibt es ein Familienrestaurant - gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und gutes Essen - ca. 6 Minuten zu Fuß. Die Senkan liegt auf einer kleinen Insel durch eine historische Brücke. Die Aussichten auf den Fluss, der in den Hauptsee Biwa fließt, sind entspannend, viele Vogelwild und viele Bäume (der Senkan ist auch eine Wassersportanlage). und die Sonnenauf- und Sonnenuntergang sind schön. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Es kostet mich ¥5,500 für eine Nacht und ich werde dort wieder bleiben, wenn ich die Gelegenheit habe.
