It was a comfortable stay. It is far from anything with only 2 restaurants to choose from. There is a small swimming pool to relax in on the roof. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was sufficient but a little hit and miss.

Ich war vor kurzem im Hilton Goa und hatte eine angenehme, wenn auch nicht einheitlich Erfahrung. Das Zimmer selbst war ausgezeichnet – sehr geräumig mit einem großen Kingsize-Bett, wunderschönen Möbeln und blitzsauberen Badezimmern. Die Lage war auch ideal. Das Frühstücksbuffet war schön. Der Swimmingpool war jedoch eine große Enttäuschung. Es schien zu viel Chlor oder andere Chemikalien im Wasser zu sein, was das Schwimmen unangenehm machte. Meine Augen brannten schon nach wenigen Minuten im Pool stark … er war während meines gesamten Aufenthalts praktisch unbrauchbar, was bedauerlich war. Auch im Fitnessclub besteht Verbesserungsbedarf! Das Hotelpersonal war höflich und professionell, aber es fehlte etwas an Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft, die ich von einem High-End-Resort erwarten würde. Ich würde sie auf keinen Fall unhöflich nennen, aber sie beschränkten sich strikt aufs Geschäftliche und lächelten kaum oder unterhielten sich anregend. Ich hatte mir Personal gewünscht, das sich besonders anstrengt, um eine einladendere Atmosphäre zu schaffen. Alles in allem hat das Hilton Goa in Bezug auf Zimmer und Lage einiges zu bieten. Das Resort selbst ist schön und ich liebe mein Zimmer. Es gab auch wirklich schöne Sitzbereiche um das Resort. Nach der Ankunft und Abreise begrüßte das Personal mich mit Geschenken, was ein schöner Kontakt war. Was ich nicht mag war: 1) fast alle Zimmer waren um den Pool, so wo immer Sie sich entspannen, Gäste und Mitarbeiter waren kontinuierlich zu Fuß über Sie 2) Der Lärm von Tag und Abendmusik war lächerlich laut. Es gibt Zeichen in dem Zimmer, die Sie empfehlen, Ohrringe zu tragen, wenn Sie es nicht mögen. Es war lauter im Zimmer als draußen! Und auch mit Ohrringe konnte ich es noch hören. 3) die Lage - während es technisch nahe dem Strand liegt, es befindet sich auf einer besetzten Straße, und um zu dem Strand zu kommen, musste man ****** diese Straße zu Fuß. Dies fühlte sich prekär und ich fühlte mich nicht sicher, das zu tun, als ein Einzelreisender, nachts. 4) das Restaurant; während das Personal genügend freundlich war, wenn Sie sich ihnen annähern, jedes Mal, wenn ich das Restaurant benutzt habe, musste ich sie aussuchen. Ich wurde nie ein Menü angeboten, es sei denn, ich fragte nach einem, und ich wurde nicht die Frühstücksoptionen gezeigt, und ich konnte nicht zeigen, welche Optionen ich aus, aus dem Abschnitt Egg/masala/pancakes auswählen konnte.

The location is right on the beach and near to lots of bars and restaurants. At the moment, there is a rule in Arambol about live music stopping at 10pm so it isn't overly loud. You can hear the sea when the music is not playing. It is at the quieter end of Arambol beach (regarding sunbathing tourists) which I liked but there is still music playing. This may or may not appeal. The room was basic, but clean when I arrived. I stayed for 6 nights, and they never came into my room. Not to clean, not to empty the bathroom bin. Not for any reason. That is fine by me as I am ok to empty my own bin, but may bother others. The linens and towels were old but clean. Weirdly, I asked for an extra toilet roll after day 4, and I was told I was entitled to only one but that they would make an exception! The length of your stay appears to be irrelevant to the amount of provisions. They also didn't provide a top sheet. I asked for one and he seemed uncertain if I cold have one and said he would let me know later, then forgot (and apologised later). They said I had a blanket and could use that - but those are rarely cleaned so I didn't want to use it next to my skin. It was actually okay as I didn't end up needing it, but if there had been lots of mosquitoes there would have been zero barrier. The owners were friendly and said hello whenever I passed them.

The hotel is in a great location. Very friendly welcome. We were shown to our room and things explained. The balcony was small but ample. The room should have contained robe and slippers but these were missing, although didn't affect our stay so not a real issue. The pool is small but was very quiet and provided a nice cool off. Towels are available at the counter. The hotel is located directly on the beach with beech shacks and restaurants on the beach very nearby. The hotel does not provide beach loungers BUT if you head to a beach shack and buy a drink or two, they will allow the use of a bed for free. Directly out of the hotel gate on the beach there was a lady with beds trying to charge 500 rupees for a bed for the day. This is not necessary when you can get a drink for less with a free bed. We nearly learned the hard way. The bed was far too hard for me, resulting in reduced sleep, but some people may prefer a firmer bed. My partner slept better than me so this was a personal experience. The bedding was nice quality though. The whole place was clean and tidy. Rooms made up every day in the afternoon so not disturbed early morning which is nice. The rooms are not soundproof so a lot of noise can be heard from outside when people start moving around in the morning. Staff were friendly - everyone had a smile, and nothing too much trouble. We only experienced breakfast once, and I would say it is ok as long as you don't expect a full English fry up (which in my opinion you shouldn't as you're in India). The food was hot, tasty, and fresh. There was plenty to choose from for a breakfast selection. If I was to fault the breakfast, to provide a suggestion, providing tea and coffee black so that customers can add their own milk would make it more accessible to all. I can't drink too much dairy so had to give this a miss. Then the only real downside to this hotel we found is when checking out, you are made to wait until the room has been checked, in case you steal anything. I completely understand this, but this should be made clear when checking in. We had booked a taxi to arrive at check out time, which could have resulted in additional costs for waiting time. Just to be mindful if staying here and arranging onward travel. Or maybe the hotel could make this policy clearer upon checking in. All in all a very nice stay in Candolim and this hotel was a good choice.

We travelled together with my husband, we are not clubbers, of course we knew that north Goa is famous for its clubs, shacks, and night parties, BUT not by our room. Even if you party, you don’t sleep in the club, you definitely go home. But this hotel is a party hotel as it was said in the different booking aggregator, in the trip.com there were no reviews about it, so I’m the first one telling you that if you want to sleep at night you will sleep and sing songs ***** with the people from the club besides your hotel, it’s not just noisy, it’s extremely loud, unbearable noise! The location to the beach is downstairs, so you need to climb the stairs back to the hotel each time you go to the beach. The beach is cosy and clean, there are some nice places to stay and eat, to watch the sunset. By the way there’s a small swimming pool and some sunbeds in the hotel area. The room was cosy and functional , they provide even an iron. I think they try to compensate the noise at night by all means. There are many clubs around the hotel, not just one! So if you don’t mind the parties- it’s definitely your place! I felt as I was sleeping in the club. We booked breakfast and it was completely Indian, only eggs and toasts were served except the Indian dishes. The restaurant provides lunch and dinner in their restaurant, we tried Indian cuisine and some other dishes, but all of them didn’t satisfy us at all. So overall the stay in this hotel hasn’t been really enjoyable!

Overall this was a very satisfying stay. A few major hiccups but less on account of the hotel or staff. Certain times of the year it does get too busy. During our stay it was found to be comfortable and satisfying. I think the staff here are very professional and dedicated to what they are doing. I would return for a stay here.
