Helpful friendly staff at reception Good location. The bathroom in my room had an unpleasant odour, smell, possibly the pipes from the toilets, was clean but the smell was very unpleasant. Bathroom needs ripping out & updating & new pipes for toilet. Not good for light sleepers like myself - can hear drunks outside & people outside at night. The train going past on the bridge is a lil noisy & the guests in other room made noise. Comfy bed & nice sized room & view. Hard working housekeepers who do an EXCELLENT job 💫💫💫 Good value for money.

Great place to overnight, clean, friendly staff, great communal area with free tea and coffee, fairly central, 15 min walk to Central Station and about same to Quayside, if you're happy staying dormitory style it's a great budget option at less than 20 quid, only negative/ suggestion put a privacy curtain across each bed as some other dorm hotels do, all in all recommended.

Customer service was wonderful as per usual. Room was clean and tidy. Staff friendly and welcoming. The location is convenient to everything and the breakfast buffet was top tier. This will always be my go to hotel.

Es ist eine recht geräumige Schlafgelegenheit mit einem Doppelbett und einem Einzelbett im Zimmer. Die Lage ist sehr praktisch, um alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erreichen.

Ideale Lage direkt am Bahnhof. Hotelzimmer war schön, Betten komfortabel, Dusche warm - großes geräumiges Zimmer. Minibar auch. Hotelpersonal freundliches Frühstück war kostenfrei verfügbar, aber hatte es nicht. Ich würde hier wieder bleiben.

Myself and my partner stayed at this hotel for 3 days. When I booked it, I never realised it had one part at one side and the other part across the street. If you book your standard rooms your hotel is across the road. The standard double room was 'cosy'. There wasnt a great deal of space but we were out the majority of the time so it was fine just for a place to sleep. The location is good, definitely a student area and the hotel offer earbuds for the noise. We stayed through the week and being honest we didnt find it that loud and most places were closed and quiet for no later than midnight. I do imagine it would be very different staying at the weekend. We used west Jesmond metro to get to and from the city centre, the hotel is about a 8 minute walk from the metro, the are very frequent also, so all in I think it took no more than 15 mins to get right into the city centre. So the room in general was ok, our room had a bit of a smell coming from the drains, which wasnt very nice so we had to buy a spray for the room. The main issue with the room and the hotel is the heat!! It has just been 28 degrees in newcastle and outside was cooler than the room. We bought chocolate and it melted in a cupboard. They do give you a fan but being honest, it did nothing. The window was also small so no air really got in from that either. It made for a few uncomfortable nights sleep! Overall the cleanliness was ok but just far to warm.

The Hanson hotel is the perfect location for the university's and the town centre ,rooms could do with a good update ,food and staff were exceptional would advise to make a visit even if it's for a drink and something to eat

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience was not very comfortable. The air conditioning in the room was completely ineffective and did not cool the space at all. Although the room was equipped with a small fan, it was nowhere near sufficient for two people, especially during a heatwave. The bathroom extractor fan was also not working, which meant that after taking a shower, the room became even hotter and more humid. As the window could not be opened, there was no way to get fresh air or any ventilation. We ended up spending a very uncomfortable and restless night due to the excessive heat. The hotel’s location is not particularly central, but it is reasonably close to the city centre. One positive aspect is that it offers free parking and breakfast, which is definitely appreciated. Overall, if the air conditioning were properly repaired, I would be happy to consider staying here again in the future.

Ich habe das für meine Großmutter und ich gebucht, um eine Begegnung in Newcastle bei 1.30pm und auch ein Konzert am Abend im Arena teilzunehmen. Der Empfangsmitglied hat uns vor der Eincheckung um 3 Uhr sehr gut gestatten, im Hotelpark zu parken, so dass wir nicht später das Auto vom U-Bahnhof zu verschieben brauchen. Das war ein großer Help- danke. Wir haben nach unserem Termin angemeldet und unseren Schlüssel für Zimmer 23 gegeben. Es war schön und gemütlich mit der Heizung auf und extrem sauber. Ich habe gekämpft, den kalten Tap vollständig im Badezimmer zu löschen, aber mein Großmutter hat es sortiert ...Vielleicht braucht ein Profi etwas Aufmerksamkeit. Nachdem wir uns verändert hatten, gingen wir zurück in die Stadt auf der U-Bahn, wo wir uns freuen, Rick Astley zu sehen. Es war ziemlich spät, als wir wieder hungrig waren, aber das Hotel war gut mit uns, eine McDonald's Lieferung aus Kingston Park zu bestellen. Alles in allem mit Frühstück im Preis enthalten, hatten wir eine super Zeit. Grüße!

Da die falsche Flugtickets bereits einen Tag früher bestellt wurden, war dieser Gast am Flughafen vorläufig bestellt, weil es ein Zimmer zwischen drei Personen in der Nähe des Flughafens gab. Ich bin gleich da, der Empfang ist sehr herzlich, mehr als 300 Zimmer sind sehr billig, öffentliches Badezimmer, ich weiß nicht, ob ich nicht gepflegt habe, es gibt kein heißes Wasser, das Zimmer ist relativ klein, die Betten sind sehr sauber, diese Saison ist ein bisschen kalt, das Zimmer ist halb Nacht sehr warm. Es gibt einen Supermarkt in der Nähe des Hotels.
