GGastnutzerIch habe ein Zimmer entfernt von der Straße gefragt und eine beliebt. Wirklich warme Willkommen von der Rezeption bei der Ankunft und im Restaurant beim Frühstück, das war hervorragend. Die Gäste waren alle modern, sauber und bieten eine Menge Sitzplätze. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Bett/Badewanne waren sehr komfortabel. Wenn ich wirklich geräumig war, könnte das Bad und der Korridor wahrscheinlich mit einem Renovierung oder ein wenig Tlc machen, aber für eine 1 oder 2 Nacht bleiben die Hotelticks alle Boxen und wir waren wirklich froh, dass wir Holiday Inn gewählt.

BBrifertvI had a very good experience staying at Hilton Cardiff. The hotel felt extremely safe and well managed throughout my stay. One thing I noticed is that they are very strict about not allowing visitors after 9 PM. At first, it was a bit disappointing, but honestly, it also made me feel much safer knowing they take security seriously.
The service was excellent from beginning to end. The staff were always kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed, which made the whole experience feel very welcoming.
My room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. It was also cleaned during my stay, which I really appreciated and added to the overall comfort.
The location is another big advantage the hotel is just steps away from Cardiff Castle, making it perfect for exploring the city. It’s also only about a 20 minute walk from Cardiff Central railway station, which made getting there and around very convenient.
One morning I decided to try the breakfast buffet, and it was definitely worth it. There were many options to choose from, including pastries, hot food, fruit, and drinks. They also had coffee machines with very good coffee, which made the breakfast experience even better.
Another highlight was the bar downstairs it had a great atmosphere and was a really nice place to relax after a day of exploring.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cardiff, especially if you value comfort, excellent service, a great location, and above all, feeling safe during your stay.

SSitalI had a very enjoyable stay at Leonardo Hotel Cardiff. The room was well-presented, spacious, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a larger suite. The service throughout my stay was excellent; staff were attentive, responded promptly to any requests, and went out of their way to ensure everything was seamless. A particular highlight was being offered a takeaway breakfast to accommodate my early train departure, which I greatly appreciated.
The only minor drawback was that the room could be somewhat noisy at times. However, this did not detract significantly from what was otherwise a very positive experience. I would be pleased to stay here again.

GGastnutzerLike a few hotels in Cardiff, the Marriott is really convenient for the railway station. We chose it because we have stayed there before and enjoyed it.
The reception staff were polite and friendly. The room (Superior Double) was quite roomy - but where were the bathrobes?
The noise from the streets is quite loud, but it was a Friday night, so to be expected, really.
We went to the Utilita arena for a concert, and it was a five minute walk away.
I had earplugs to use in the hotel, very useful because of the inconsiderate guests who chatted loudly in the corridor at 1130pm.
Comfy bed, in fact, a very comfy bed.
Unfortunately, our room had an interconnecting door, and we were woken up early by loud guests next door discussing their plans for the day. Something to9 avoid next time.
Breakfast was ok, not the best - but adequate, though. The Cardiff lady with the 'top-knot' who said ”yoh” instead of ”yes” like a true Afrikaans was lovely and very welcoming. In fact, every member of staff we spoke to was nice.
I'd stay here again, but maybe only at the beginning of the week.

GGastnutzerI have a really mixed feeling about this hotel. I booked the superior room with tree lined view and asked for a quiet room: the receptionist gave me an extremely cold and noisy room right next to the motorway and above some nightclubs. My watch has identified the noise level is over the normal limit. I couldn’t fall asleep due to the loud noise even at midnight. I called the receptionist to change a room. Unfortunately, they first gave me a standard room that the heating system was not working and much smaller than I have paid for. The two maintenance officers who came to check the heating system are very helpful and suggested to change to another room. Only by then, I was able to change to another room that matched the similar sized of a superior room, but without tree lined view. I must say that all the receptionists were friendly and polite but behind their friendliness, they are not really helpful at all. I had my dinner, a sea bass meal, at the restaurant - see the photo. The dinner and the service was both outstanding. The kettle in the room was not very clean; it could easily be cleaned by using small spray to remove the calcium. The gym and swimming pool are excellent. If you are not used to live in really loud room, please double check with the receptionists. It is also not worth to pay an extra 10 pounds per night to get a so called tree lined room with extreme loud noise. I also wonder the reason for the hotel to give customers rooms that the heating system are not working. It would helpful to check before they allocate room to customers. It would also helpful that the hotel ensure that the room has reasonable temperature before admitting guests, esp on a very cold winter night. Overall, this is not a very good experience. I was not able to sleep for a whole night. I paid extra in the hope of getting a better and quiet room but ended up with one of the worst room without getting any compensation.

GGastnutzerAmazing location that is right by the city centre. Staff were really friendly and we were made to feel super welcome all the way from arrival until we checked out. Room was clean, tidy and warm which was really nice in the colder weather. There wasn’t a huge amount of amenities but for a small hotel the amenities provided proved just enough. Overall super pleased and will definitely be returning for our next trip.

GGastnutzerHotel is ok if you want a night in Cardiff but its very noisey, found it difficult to sleep baecause you can here all the noise on St Marys Street, also there was no bottle water in room which was disappointing for money spent.

GGuest UserDas Zimmer befindet sich in der Mitte des Stadtzentrums in der Nähe des Schlosses und lokaler Attraktionen. Leider ist das Zimmer in einen Nachtclub zurückgewiesen, der Musik bis 4am spielte. Wenn Sie ein leichter Schlafer sind, könnte dies ein Problem sein. Andere dann, dass schöne Ort.
