It is not easy to rate this establishment. Its not that its not good, just it may be good for a small segment of travellers. The B&B is in a renovated old building with some very nice architectural artefacts. However, the design of the use of space is not too friendly to a traveler, especially if you plan to stay there for a few days or more. Let me first talk about the things I like about this B&B: 1. Beautiful old building, 2. very good room size for the room I rented, including a huge bathroom with bathtub. The room is bright with two big french door and window. Areas that I think it would improve to make staying there more enjoyable and convenient: 1. There is no closet or to put your clothes, so we have to lay out all our clothings on a big coach. If you have clothes, pants and jackets you want to hang, you may be out of luck, since there is very little space for hanging clothes, and the hangers supplied could not hang pants. So we lay our pants on the big couch. 2. The night tables are very small and not too much space to put a tablet and a phone and a glass of water there.We have to put the table lamp on the floor in order to make space for other items. 3. The toilet is in a different room outside of the bedroom area, and away from the bathroom. Unfortunately, there is no sink in the toilet area, and each time after going to toilet, one have to walk over to the bathroom to wash your hands, a bit inconvenient. 4. On arrival, we were asked what kind of bread we want in the morning, we indicated chocolate croissant, and we were given that for the 5 days we stayed there for breakfast. I think it would have been nice if they have offered other choices each morning. 5. There is no menu for the breakfast, and person looking after the breakfast would come and ask what you want. Unless I know of all the items that they can provide, I could only ask for the familiar items. I thought a simple menu with different offerings would be useful for clients.

Das Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber dem Bahnhof und den Straßenbahn-/Bushaltestellen. Ich hatte einen schönen Aufenthalt, abgesehen von zwei Dingen. Erstens war das Wasser aus dem Wasserhahn/der Dusche zu heiß. Ein Hotelangestellter zeigte mir, wie man die Wassertemperatur einstellt, und sagte, das sei in ganz Frankreich so. Ich bin natürlich anderer Meinung. Ich hatte kurz vor meinem Einchecken in diesem Mercure in zwei Ibis-Hotels in Paris und Nantes übernachtet. Ich hatte während meiner 30-jährigen Reisen durch Europa in unzähligen Hotels übernachtet und hatte dieses Problem mit dem „heißen Wasser“ nie erlebt. Die Lösung bestand jedenfalls darin, das Wasser außergewöhnlich lange laufen zu lassen, bis das sehr heiße Wasser ausging. Dann konnte ich die Temperatur regulieren. Ich komme von einem Ort, an dem die Leute frisches Wasser schätzen und das inakzeptabel finden. Da das Hotel internationale Gäste aufnimmt, sollten im Badezimmer vielleicht Hinweise/Anweisungen angebracht werden, wie man mit diesem Problem mit dem „heißen Wasser“ umgeht. Zweitens war der Kaffee im Zimmer nicht erwartungsgemäß. Ein 4-Sterne-Hotel sollte das besser können. Ich war jedoch froh über den Wasserkocher im Zimmer.

The location is a 10-15 min walk away from the train station due to the layout of the train tracks, however it is also served frequently by tram C. Upside is its in a good, quiet and clean neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle. Very modern, clean and chic hotel. Comfortable sized rooms and toilet. Reception served by delightful and polite ladies.

Hilton Bordeaux – Freundlicher Service und perfekte Lage Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hilton Bordeaux. Das Hotel liegt ideal, um die Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden, in wenigen Minuten waren wir in der Altstadt und mitten im Geschehen. Die Lage ist für einen Städtetrip wirklich perfekt. Unser Zimmer war großzügig geschnitten, mit sehr bequemen Betten und einem gut ausgestatteten Bad. Auch das Frühstück war in Ordnung: Die Auswahl war solide, wenn auch an beiden Tagen identisch. Dennoch war alles vorhanden, was wir für einen guten Start in den Tag brauchten. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchten wir, dass auf Nachfrage glutenfreies Brot und Gebäck angeboten wurde, vielen Dank dafür! Ein weiteres Highlight war der Service. Der Check-in verlief äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein großes Dankeschön an Monsieur Jean, der uns auf Spanisch, unserer bevorzugten Sprache, willkommen geheißen und uns hilfreiche Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben hat. Unser Auto konnten wir gegen Gebühr sicher in der Tiefgarage des Hotels parken. Auch am nächsten Morgen wurden wir an der Rezeption sehr freundlich beraten. Die junge Dame, deren Namen ich mir leider nicht gemerkt habe, hat uns in ausgezeichnetem Englisch weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten empfohlen. Insgesamt war das Personal sowohl an der Rezeption als auch im Frühstücksbereich jederzeit aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und herzlich. Wir haben uns im Hilton Bordeaux rundum wohlgefühlt und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Bordeaux werden wir sehr gerne wiederkommen.

The hotel is modern and overall comfortable, and the rooms are decent for a short stay. The bed was comfortable enough and the general atmosphere of the hotel is pleasant. However, I think some aspects could be improved to better match the expectations of a four-star hotel. The main point is the breakfast. The selection was quite limited and did not feel like a four-star hotel breakfast, closer to what you would expect from a three-star hotel at most. I would recommend that the management look at the breakfast offered in other four-star hotels for comparison. In many hotels in Portugal, Spain, or Madeira Island (where I am from), the breakfast selection is usually much more varied and of higher quality. Improving this would make the overall stay much better and more in line with the hotel’s category.

Disappointed. The room was small, the furnisture was tired and in dire need of refurbishment. Second-hand books were used as part of the room decor. To enter the bathroom, one needs to put one leg in with the other leg left outside and, with the door half-open, bring the other leg in - that's the only way to enter. The room standard is much lower compared to similar type of hotels in most other countries, while the price is significantly higher. The building opposite the hotel is boring-looking and is undergoing constuction. The closest underground car parking is a bit far away and is extremely pricy. Everything is pricy in that country, while the quality of living is lower compared to most other European countries. The city as a whole dissapoints. A lot of **** people, really **** on the streets! You see them everywhere selling self-made trinkets, however, when you return a few minutes later they are all gone - ostensibly swept away by the police. You also see a lot of homeless people who sleep outside. This is a result of incompetence and mismanagement by ****** and his life partner, apparently. The standard of living in this city has deteriorated significantly compared to what was the case 5-10 years ago. On the positive side, the hotel is clean, the personnel is friendly. The location and the surrounding area are OK, however, it takes 15-20 of walking to most major sites.

We booked 2 nights here at a weekend, easy to get to from the city centre, just jump on the c route tram, stop is just along the road. Intermarche is at the roundabout for supplies. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Easy check in service. Foyer has a variety of tables and chairs with more tables and chairs in the dining area. Key card operated lift for better security. Corridor had a drain smell which was off putting. Room was clean with a comfortable bed, duvet and pillows supplied. Air conditioning was fabulous, Hubbie likes the room to be ice cold but it was easy to turn off too! Window also opens wide if required, net curtain helps to keep room private as over looked by block of flats. Kitchen area with fridge, dishwasher, hob and microwave with good selection of cooking equipment plates etc. coffee machine in the room with one pod supplied, further pods are 1€ each, no milk supplied. Good selection of lights but limited sockets and no usb sockets at all. Tv has the ability to stream direct from your phone with simple instructions on the tv. Good sized shower room with mirror above the sink, shower gel supplied. Hairdryer fixed to the wall was adequate. Breakfast was continental with crepes, assortment of bread, yogurt, fruit, ham and cheese with scrambled eggs and a toaster available. Tea, coffee and juices available. Almond milk and gluten free bread was also visible.

Dieses Hostel hat eine fantastische Lage mitten in der Stadt. Nachts halten sich Obdachlose auf dem Platz auf, aber ich habe nur eine Nacht dort verbracht und nicht viele gesehen. Trotzdem waren einige da. Nachts allein in Bordeaux unterwegs zu sein, kann etwas beängstigend sein, da manche Obdachlose oder Betrunkene nach Zigaretten oder Kleingeld fragen. Ein Vorteil des Hostels ist der Carrefour-Supermarkt direkt nebenan; dort gibt es alles, was man braucht. Frauen können dort Frühstück und Getränke zu ihren Einkäufen hinzufügen. Es gibt auch eine kleine Bar, wo man morgens Kaffee kaufen kann, der allerdings nicht besonders gut ist. Es ist wirklich schön. Ich habe in einem Frauenzimmer übernachtet. Man braucht etwas Zeit, um herauszufinden, wie das Schloss am Spind neben dem Bett funktioniert; ihr werdet verstehen, was ich meine, sobald ihr da seid. Ich dachte zuerst, es sei kaputt. Denkt daran, euer eigenes Schloss mitzubringen, oder ihr könnt eins beim Einchecken kaufen. Ein großer Pluspunkt ist der Aufzug, den aber jeder benutzen kann. Euer Zimmerschlüssel ist also euer einziger Schutz. Vergesst daher nicht, die Tür abzuschließen. Im Badezimmer gab es keine Kleiderstange, aber einen Föhn. Toilette und Badezimmer waren getrennt und nicht besonders sauber; es wirkte etwas heruntergekommen. Insgesamt war das Hostel zwar nicht mehr sehr neu, aber aufgrund seiner hervorragenden Lage dennoch akzeptabel.

🟢 Die Lage war sehr bequem und einfach zu reisen. Wir parkierten dort und dann verwendeten die Zugbahn um sich zu bewegen. Bequem und einfach. Der Innenraum des Gebäudes sieht frisch und gut aus. Die Zimmer waren ziemlich groß, so dass wir überall verbreiten konnten. Überrascht, die Toiletten und Duschen getrennt zu sehen, aber genießbar. Große Wahl für das Frühstück für 18€, aber manchmal wartete auf die Wiederfüllung. 🔴 Das Personal war nicht wirklich freundlich, es sei denn, Sie waren derjenige, der Ihre Annäherung und mit ihnen reden wollte. Es gab eine Alarmaufnahme früh am Morgen während unseres Aufenthalts und niemand war an der Rezeption, um uns zu begrüßen und uns zu sagen, ob wir evakuieren oder was. Als wir (andere Kunden und wir) dem Empfänger erzählten, dass es nicht normal war, dass sie sich erschreckt und anstatt sich entschuldigen oder was auch immer wieder antwortete. Das Personal wusste nicht, was sie in diesem Fall zu tun hätten. Nicht beruhigend, wenn es irgendwann ein echtes Feuer gibt. 🟡 Reinigung war nicht erstaunlich, aber hätte schlimmer sein können, so dass keine Kommentare dazu.

Here's the pro about apparteo (Good location next to the bassins a flot, really nice view during my stay which you could see a beautiful sunset 🌇 , bus station just in front of the hotel and not too far away the tram station cité du vin which is only 5 Stations away from Center of Bordeaux, you have also Les hangars not far away which is one of the most peaceful place to walk day or night, I mean Apparteo position is actually really good, everything looked clean except a few things but doesn't bother, it is a also a residence of students) Now about the cons, if someone didn't help me, I couldn't have entered the building nor having access to do the check-in, in fact you need a pin code that I Never received which the card of your room is inside with other card which can be a little bit odd, anyway can have access to it, the office was close each time I try to check someone no matter the time, the smell in the bathroom was really unpleasant but I could manage to get over it from opening every window and little perfume, but it come back if I keep the door close of the bathroom The table where I was eating was moving a lot, but honestly other than those few cons that can be managed, it was a really pleasant stay, I enjoyed a lot and could sleep really well, calm, peaceful, nice view I highly recommend this place as the few cons can be solved easily, just wished to see someone at the reception and it would have been even better. Voici les bons de l'établissement Apparteo, celui-ci est vraiment très bien situé proche des bassins à flots, la chambre qui m'a été attribué avait une excellente vue avec un couché de soleil vraiment magnifique et apaisant, il y a une station de bus juste devant l'hôtel et la station de tram cité du vin n'est pas loin, celle-ci est à seulement 5 Stations du centre de Bordeaux , pas très loin il y a aussi les hangars, belle promenade de jour comme de nuit, honnêtement Apparteo est très bien positionné, tout été assez propre malgré de légers défauts, Apparteo est aussi une résidence étudiante. Maintenant pour la mauvaise parti, heureusement qu'une personne qui séjournent dans l'établissement m'a aider sinon je n'aurai pas eu l'accès à celui-ci ni eu la possibilité de récupérer ma réservation de chambre, surtout qu'il y a besoin d'un code pour ouvrir la boîte où se trouve enveloppe pour la carte de chambre, le problème ici c'est qu'il y a aussi les réservations d'autres personnes accessible, je pense qu'il faudrait sécurisé un peu plus l'accès à ses informations, du coup ni a mon arrivée ni a mon départ je n'ai pu croisé de réceptionniste, il y avait aussi une odeur assez désagréable dans la salle de bain / toilette, ouvrir les fenêtres et mettre un peu de parfum à pu atténuer l'odeur mais celle-ci revenez si je fermé la porte de la salle de bain, la table à manger été assez instable mais en dehors de cela , le séjour été vraiment agréable, belle endroit, assez calme, fan des bassins à flot, la vue incroyable, bref excellent de se côté là Au final je recommande totalement Apparteo malgré les petits défauts qui peuvent être résolu assez rapidement avec de la volonté, vraiment dommage que je n'ai pu croisé personne a la réception.
