Excellent hotel at a nice location. It is next to a shopping mall where you can find numerous eating places and almost everything else you need. There are aldo a good number of restaurants and spas and entertainment establishments across the streets on all sides. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is kept very tidy and clean. Free coffee and free laundry service at the reception level. The only thing to complaint about is its slow Internet connection. Half a star may be deducted because of this but given all the other excellent features, I still give it a 5/5 rating. In short, great value for the money!

Ich hatte einen hervorragenden Aufenthalt hier. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit, und die Lage ist erschreckend. Ich werde froh bleiben!

✨Die Klimaanlage ist kalt genug und der Warmwasserbereiter ist heiß genug! ! ! Diese beiden Punkte sind Extrapunkte! ✨ Umgebung: Am Tag des Check-ins waren im Park einige Bauarbeiten zu verzeichnen und einige Bereiche befanden sich im Bau. Der gesamte Park ist nicht sehr groß, aber es fühlt sich an, als wäre er ein guter Ort zum Ausruhen. Es ist sehr angenehm, dort spazieren zu gehen und Fotos zu machen . Es gibt keine Rutschen und Klettergerüste für Kinder und andere Geräte, die eher für den Gruppenaufbau oder den Freizeiturlaub für Erwachsene und Haustiere geeignet sind ~ Kinder möchten vielleicht etwas Spielzeug mitbringen ~ Ausstattung: Ich habe dieses Mal ein Shooter-Zimmer gebucht (man kann aber nicht direkt nach unten gehen). Es hat einen kleinen Balkon, ein kleines Dachfenster, einen elektrischen Mahjong-Tisch, ein Projektor, ein kleiner Kühlschrank, ein Wasserkocher und ein einfaches Badezimmer. Es gibt auch Waschgelegenheiten, die recht vollständig sind. Service: Es gibt zwei einfache Frühstücke, die mir der Kellner morgens aufs Zimmer bringt. Ich habe dem Kellner eine halbe Stunde im Voraus Bescheid gegeben, damit er es zubereiten kann Großes Zelt zum Essen. Am Tag des Eincheckens kann es regnen und es ist kein Feiertag. Wir waren die einzigen im ganzen Zelt, es war so einfach und entspannend. Mücken sind im Freien unvermeidlich Bereiche, und der Kellner bestellte auch mit Bedacht Mückenspulen✨ Sonstiges: Bei schönem Wetter kann man im nahe gelegenen Yakou Village spazieren gehen. I recently stayed at Dongfeng Oriental Guzhen Hotel and had a thoroughly pleasant experience. This hotel delivers great value with its comfortable accommodations and attentive service, making it a reliable choice for travelers. Outstanding Staff: The hotel’s team deserves special praise. From the efficient check-in to the daily housekeeping, everyone was consistently friendly, professional, and eager to assist. Whether I needed local recommendations or extra amenities, they responded promptly with a smile. Their warmth made the stay feel personalized and welcoming. Comfortable & Well-Maintained Rooms: My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring restful sleep, and the modern bathroom had excellent water pressure. While the décor was simple, it felt fresh and well-kept. The strong, reliable Wi-Fi was a definite plus for both work and leisure. Great Location & Value: The hotel’s location proved very convenient – close to local dining spots, shops, and key attractions in Guzhen. Transportation links were easily accessible, making exploring straightforward. Considering the quality of the room, service, and amenities offered, the hotel provides excellent value for money. It’s a practical base whether you’re traveling for business or leisure. We have stayed at Marriott hotels in both the U.S. and China, so we had relatively high expectations for this Le Méridien property. Overall, the hotel is fairly good and clean, but the staff training and service quality still need improvement. Pros: We stayed here for a few days and overall had a comfortable stay. The hotel is clean, housekeeping came every day, and our room was spacious. The amenities were generally good, and whenever we requested daily supplies, they were delivered to the room very quickly. Cons: 1. Deposit Policy: The Trip app and website stated that no deposit was required. However, during check-in, the front desk informed us that a USD 400 deposit was mandatory. It seems the website has not been updated, so guests should be financially prepared for this additional charge. 2. Service Quality: The front desk staff felt rather inexperienced and insufficiently trained for a Marriott property. The staff member who checked us in spoke very limited English and could not even identify the issuing bank of my card, despite the bank name being clearly printed in English on the card. This may sound picky, but we expected a higher level of professionalism from Marriott staff. Additionally, when we came downstairs to check out around 11 PM, several front desk staff members were gathered together looking at one staff member’s screen and chatting. When we approached the desk, they simply dispersed and no one asked whether we needed assistance. Compared to other Marriott hotels we have stayed at in both China and the U.S., the service quality here felt noticeably below standard. 3. Amenities: Most amenities were well maintained, but the shower water temperature was unstable and would occasionally become extremely hot, making showers unpleasant. Also, if you plan to use the spa, make sure to purchase coupons through ******* beforehand. The coupon price is around 360 RMB, while the walk-in price is about 600 RMB. Since local guests are more familiar with ******* than foreign travelers, the pricing difference may feel somewhat unfair or misleading for international visitors.

The hotel is located on the eastern side of Zhongshan, where there isn't much to do in the vicinity. The property itself is quite large but feels a bit dated. The water spa is permanently closed, with no notice or updates provided on the hotel's website, which was disappointing. The equipment in the gym also appears worn and in need of replacement. The outdoor pool is very clean. It is a perfect spot to relax. The cleaning team keeps the room tidy and clean throughout my staying. The front staff are very nice and professional. They kindly allowed me a late checkout at no additional cost, which I really appreciated. During my stay, I came across a local night market by the river. It seemed to cater mostly to locals, and the food there was absolutely delicious.
