Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt im Changsha Xiangjiang Hotel 1968. Das Team vom Hotel hat wirklich alles dafür getan, um uns als Paar und als Besucher von Changsha (eine Chinesin und ein Deutscher) einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu machen. Die zahlreichen Aufmerksamkeiten wie kleine Geschenke zur Begrüßung und während des Aufenthalts, der Nachmittags-Tee mit Kuchen am Nachmittag, das kostenfreie halbstündige Fotoshooting mit traditioneller chinesischer Kleidung und vieles mehr werden wir in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten. Es schien so, als gäbe es nichts, was das Hotel nicht möglich machen könnte. Der kostenfreie Wäscheservice kam angesichts des heißen und schwülen Wetters in Changsha während unseres Besuchs sehr gelegen und wurde von uns ausgiebig genutzt. Als Trip.com Diamond-Mitglied bekamen wir ein kostenfreies Zimmerupgrade, worüber wir uns freuten. Wir hatten zu jeder Zeit das Gefühl, im Hotel willkommen zu sein und würden dieses Haus jederzeit wieder einem internationalen Hotel mit vermeintlichem „Rang und Namen“ vorziehen. Die Lage des Hotels ist prinzipiell gut und unweit von bekannten Zielen wie dem Wuyi Square und der IFS Mall und der zentralen Einkaufsstraße, jedoch etwas versteckt in einer Art „Gated Community“. Im halbstündlichen bis stündlichen Takt gab es mehrmals am Tag direkt vor unserem Fenster laute Ansagen (Schule?), die leichte und lange Schläfer wecken könnten. Tagsüber gewöhnten wir uns recht schnell daran. Ansonsten mag die Gegend in der Nacht und Dunkelheit insgesamt etwas ungewohnt wirken, weil das Hotel von vielen engen Gassen umgeben ist. Passiert ist uns aber nichts und Changsha hat insgesamt ein sehr aktives Nachtleben. Abschließend möchte ich noch für nicht-chinesische Gäste hinzufügen, dass nicht viele englischsprachige Hotelmitarbeiter zur Verfügung stehen. Mit den gängigen Übersetzungs-Apps ist eine Kommunikation jedoch möglich. Zudem eröffnet das Hotel seinen Gästen beim Einchecken die Möglichkeit, einen WeChat-Chat zu eröffnen, um mit dem Hotel zu kommunizieren. Darin kann auch alles automatisch übersetzt werden und es ist immer jemand erreichbar.

Die geografische Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend, nahe dem Schneeberg, einige Minuten zu gehen, kann man nachts zu Fuß gehen und den Lichtshow sehen. Es ist nicht weit von der U-Bahnstation entfernt. Die Einrichtungen sind komplett und der Service ist aufmerksam. Es gibt viele umgebungsfreundliche private Restaurants in der Umgebung.

If you’re looking for an English review, here it is! Location: We stayed for 6 nights in the Jade Room, and the location couldn’t be better. The hotel is only a short 3-minute walk from Huangxing Pedestrian Street, tucked inside a small alley off the main road. While taxis can’t drop you right at the entrance, the walk is easy and luggage-friendly. The surroundings are quiet at night but still feel very safe. There’s also a nearby corner shop that holds Taobao parcels, which is super convenient, and the reception staff will guide you if needed. Service: The service was genuinely outstanding and truly made the stay feel like a home away from home. Communication was clear, warm, and responsive from the beginning. We confirmed our booking via WeChat and received prompt replies along with helpful directions and a clear map. We arrived past midnight, but the staff kept in touch and reassured us that someone would meet us on arrival. A friendly young gentleman greeted us with a big smile, brought us to our room, and followed up with the passcodes for Wi-Fi and door access (the lobby area locks after 10pm). Most evenings, they sent a message about homemade desserts available on a first-come-first-serve basis—such a thoughtful touch. They were also extremely helpful when I needed to order food through *******, letting me use the front desk number since I didn’t have a local phone. I was also able to receive Taobao parcels at the hotel, and the staff neatly gathered them for easy pick-up. Truly attentive and heartfelt service throughout. Cleanliness & Room: The room had basic amenities and toiletries, which were sufficient for a comfortable stay. However, we couldn’t find a safe or mini fridge— not a deal breaker, but something to note if you’re expecting those features. The cleaning team was polite and checked in daily to see if we needed housekeeping. Fresh towels and bottled water were consistently provided, which we appreciated. Still, the overall cleaning could have been more thorough. We noticed crumbs and hair on the floor, suggesting that sweeping or vacuuming wasn’t done completely, and there were some shoe marks left in the bathroom. Not major issues, but worth mentioning. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and despite the minor cleanliness concerns, we would happily rebook this accommodation on our next trip to Changsha. _______ 地点（Location）： 我们在翡翠房（Jade Room）住了 6 晚，地点真的非常棒。酒店距离黄兴步行街只有大约 3 分钟的步行路程，藏在主街旁的一条小巷里。虽然出租车不能直接把你送到酒店门口，但小巷平坦好走，拖着行李也完全没有问题。周边环境晚上很安静，但仍然非常安全。附近还有一家包裹代收的小店，可以领取淘宝包裹，非常便利，前台也会指导你如何前往。 服务（Service）： 酒店的服务真的非常贴心，让人有一种“家外之家”的感觉。沟通顺畅、友善且回应快速。我们通过微信确认了预订，酒店很快给了回复，并附上了详细的路线说明和清晰的地图。 我们是在深夜抵达的，但他们一路保持联络，告诉我们随时可以联系工作人员。到达后，一位年轻的小哥满脸笑容地迎接我们，带我们到房间，并马上发送了 Wi-Fi 和门禁的密码（酒店前台与客房通道晚上 10 点后会上锁）。 大多数晚上，他们都会发消息告诉我们当天有自制甜点，数量有限、先到先得——非常温馨的小惊喜。当我需要用**点餐时，他们也非常乐于协助，因为我没有中国手机号，他们让我直接填写前台号码作为联系号码。另外，我也收了不少淘宝包裹，前台都会帮忙整理好，让取件变得更方便。整体服务相当贴心、周到。 房间与清洁（Room & Cleanliness）： 房间提供基本的设施与盥洗用品，住起来还是舒适的。不过，我们没有找到保险箱或小冰箱——不是硬性需求，但如果你特别需要这类设备，建议提前确认。 清洁人员每天都会礼貌询问我们是否需要打扫房间，毛巾和瓶装水也都有每天补充，这点非常不错。然而，整体清洁度可以再更细致一些。我们发现地板上有一些面包屑和头发，似乎没有彻底打扫；浴室地面上也有鞋印。虽然不是严重的问题，但仍值得一提。 整体评价： 整体入住体验非常愉快，即便有些许清洁的小问题，我们仍然非常愿意在下次来长沙时再次入住这里。

Staff was very friendly and helpful, the room is clean. Very near to mrt station directly go down from lift though we prefer getting around with Didi, pretty short distance too to streets. Snacks and amenities is provided. Just one thing to be improve, get a new hook for people to hang our clothes after shower. The initial one was too close and inside shower, not convenient. Other than that is a good place to stay at a reasonable price.

There's a washing machine in the room and detergents are provided during the stay. Clean bath towels and drinking water are provided upon request. The room is spacious. Daily cleaning service is available everyday. The location is easy to find, and taxis are easy to order. The price is worthy of the service provided. Will come back for this place again when I visit Changsha again.

The majority of Changsha's attractions are located near Wuyi Square. It is prudent to book a hotel near this focus area. I booked this motel as it is a reputable hotel chain. It is located right beside Taiping Street, an old shopping alley since ancient times. The chain motel is now named Magnolio Hotel (Wuyi Square Branch). Changsha was my last destination of my 10-day Hunan trip. I did not follow any travel agency and explore based on my research. When we arrived at Changsha from Fenghuang Ancient Town, I was shocked by the hot weather of 38 degrees. We were drenched with sweat and felt much better when in the cold air-conditioned lobby of the hotel. The fusion tea drinks at the lobby quenched much of our thirst. The location of this hotel is superb. It is only 150 m from Exit 1 of Wuyi Square metro station. Seniors above 65 years old, including foreigners, enjoy free metro travel in Changsha. We just showed our passports and there is no second question asked, and the staff will open the gate for you to access the station. Thus, travelling to the airport via metro is also free. Wuyi Square is Line 2 station. From Wuyi Square, you can change to Line 6 at Yinbing Station and take the Line 6 train directly to Terminal 1 & 2 of Huanghua International Airport and free. The metro station also provided shelter from the heat, and I explored Huangxin Pedestrian Street and IFC mall via the metro exits. The hotel receptionist informed me that they had upgraded my room to a bigger one for free. The toilet facilities and room are well renovated and clean though the room is still quite small. I stayed for 2 nights over here, and both me and my wife had wonderful sleep. There were also plenty of eateries and restaurants at the vicinity. Walmart is just 400 m away. For travel to attractions, Orange Island is only just two stations away at 橘子洲 station along Line 2, and for Mount Yuelu, it is only one station away at 溁 湾 镇 站 from 橘子洲 station For location, cleanliness, and staff responsiveness, I will give this hotel 10 points upon 10. Der Chef war sehr höflich. Er holte uns gleich am Flughafen ab. Das war sehr praktisch. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Ausstattung war komplett, inklusive Föhn, Wasserkocher und Klimaanlage. Meine Eltern und ich haben hier übernachtet und waren sehr zufrieden. Hauptsache, es war sauber, hygienisch und sicher. Meine Eltern sagten, sie würden dieses Hotel wieder buchen, wenn sie das nächste Mal nach Changsha kommen.
