Die Lage ist phantastisch- nahe am Bahnhof und direkt an der Bushaltestelle. Das Personal war freundlich (bis auf den Herrn am Abend beim Check-In). Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Mikrowelle in der Lobby sollte allerdings dringend gereinigt werden.
Das Frühstück war lecker. Zwar gab es ausschließlich Taiwanesische Speisen, die haben aber sehr gut geschmeckt.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und hatte sogar einen Kühlschrank und einen Wasserkocher, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm machte. Es liegt günstig in der Nähe des Bahnhofs, und der Preis (für einen Wochentag) ist ausgezeichnet.
Vielleicht war es nur Zufall, aber die WLAN-Verbindung war etwas schwach. Ich habe dies an der Rezeption gemeldet, aber man hat mir nicht wirklich weitergeholfen.

Das hotel hat zwar auch dorms, aber hostel vibes zum socializing kommen nicht auf. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer, haben im voraus bei der Buchung um zwei einzelne Decken gebeten, das hat leider nicht geklappt. Das Personal spricht kaum englisch.
In der Dusche waren schimmelflecken in den Fugen, an der Decke war ein riesen Wasserfleck und an den Gardinen ekelhafte Flecken.
Die Lage ist in der Altstadt, nahe am Bahnhof.

Sie müssen Ihre Gepäck ins Zimmer aufheben (transportieren) anstatt es ins Zimmer zu ziehen. Sehr strikt auf die Zeitung mit Gebühren von TWD200 pro Stunde gezahlt, um die offizielle Zeit der Auscheckung um 11 Uhr zu überschreiten.

The room is small but nicely furnished. Everything is new and my room has a good view of the traffic rotary.
It is conveniently located next to the main strain station. Finding the hotel building is a different story. The hotel name and the name on Google Maps don't match and the locals don't seem to know it.
To walk to the hotel (3-5 minutes), I have to walk past scores of homeless elderly people sleeping around the station. I wish the city government to do more to help the poor.
During my stay, I may have experienced an earthquake from the aftershocks of the April earthquake. I went back to sleep...

Die Lage ist wirklich hervorragend, in der Nähe von Bahnhof, Supermärkten, Einkaufszentren und Nachtmärkten.
Das Zimmer selbst war in Ordnung. Wenn ich etwas bemängeln müsste, wäre es die recht laute Klimaanlage. Selbst wenn sie ausgeschaltet war, hörte man noch Außengeräusche (das mag je nach Zimmer unterschiedlich sein). Wir hatten aber Ohrenschützer dabei, sodass alle in der Familie gut geschlafen haben.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
Es war eine wirklich schöne Reise.

YYH_AllenIch hatte nicht erwartet, dass diese Unterkunft ein Motel auf der Grundlage seines chinesischen Namens sein wird, so dass es ein bisschen überrascht war, als ich ankam.
Die Lage ist sehr bequem, was ein großer Plus ist. Allerdings hatte die Umgebung einen leichten Duft von Zigarettenrauch. Das Zimmer selbst war geräumig, aber für die Gäste, die Fuß ankommen, ist der Zugang nicht sehr intuitiv Sie müssen zuerst nach unten zum Grundstück und dann durch die Parkgarage gehen, was den Verkehr etwas ungünstig fühlt.

CCecilia PorDas war meine dritte Zeit hier zu bleiben. Sehr nahe dem Bahnhof & Essenshof in der Nähe. Zimmer ist sauber, aber ziemlich klein und begrenzter Raum, wenn Sie größere Gepäck haben. Allerdings ist das Frühstück lecker und es ist eine gesündere Wahl während unseres Aufenthalts in dieser Runde. Das Servicepersonal ist jederzeit sehr freundlich und freundlich. Das Rezeptionspersonal hat sogar das Rekord, das ich vorher geblieben habe. Es gibt auch einen Wartebereich mit Sitze und Tisch für Gäste mit entspannender Musik, die gespielt werden. Ein kleiner Bereich auch für jüngere Kinder. Eine gute Wahl für Hotelunterkünfte, wenn Sie besuchen wollen Taichung.

TTungBest resort in Taiwan and worth every penny. Highest level of service - it’s like being at a modern luxury ryokan in Japan except everyone speaks Chinese. Room design is brilliant, and one king room fit my family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers with a California king and a separate tatami area. The room has an epic view from every angle the moment you walk in the door and includes a private outdoor onsen connected to your bathroom. I noticed many private in-room onsens in Japan are diluted down, but this was spring fed. The public onsen was huge, extremely well maintained, and included a large walled zen garden with an adjacent sauna and cold plunge. I was lucky enough to experience this area all to myself with one other guest leaving as I arrived and another guest arriving as I was leaving. In China, this onsen would have comfortably accommodated 100 bathers. The spring water is not high in sulfuric content (doesn’t smell like rotten eggs), and the temperature is relatively mild - ideal for my family. Given the limited availability of the hotel online, I was expecting it to be more crowded. I got the sense that room rates are controlled to optimize guest experience, not profit, while staff are trained to ensure that customers never feel like they are being ripped off or “sold”. It seemed there were more staff than guests on site. I originally booked 2 rooms, and some of my family members couldn’t make the trip. We didn’t need the second room, and the staff were very gracious to refund and cancel the second room on the spot. When I’m back in Taiwan or traveling to a place where Hoshinoya does business, I would not hesitate to book again and make a special journey to stay at one of their destination resorts.

Motel, jedes Zimmer verfügt über einen Parkplatz (Garage) unten und die Treppe hinauf zum Zimmer. Wenn Sie sperriges Gepäck haben, achten Sie darauf, nicht meine Zimmerkategorie zu buchen. Es gibt auch andere Zimmerkategorien, die wie Hotelzimmer über Aufzüge erreichbar sind.

TTan Kim WhattBest hotel we stayed since our Taiwan trip. Was upgraded to a huge room and it exceeded our expectation. Every things was explained to us patiently during our check in. It was all within walking distance to 2nd market, Miyahara and night market. Will definitely stay again in Taichung if we ever return.

TTiffytif17The room is as described and shown on the pictures. I gave a 4 for cleanliness as on first night, I found hairs on the bed & a hole on the bath towel. I reported to the staff via LINE (in Taiwan they use mainly LINE to communicate). They quickly took action and offered to change the bedsheets and clean the room. As I stayed for a week, they scheduled a housekeeping on day 4 of my stay. The soundproofing is not the best but if needed earplugs are provided in the room.
It was the winter in Taiwan when I was there so having a hot shower is important and the hot water is available. I like that there is water dispenser at each room level, rubbish and recycling bins are located outside so it is convenient.
The location of the inn is about 15 minutes walk from the Taichung Train Station. If you are carrying large luggage, advise to take a Uber. It is near to 一中街 (yizhong street) where you can find many shops, food, etc. From the inn, cutting through the open space carpark, you will be at the shopping area.
As a female solo traveller, at the start I was a bit concerned of the location of the inn. The entrance to the inn is in a alley, next to a bistro bar. You need the access card to enter the inn so that is find, just make sure it is lock after you enter. The front desk only operates from 11 am - 10:30 pm. There is an emergency hotline number to call for afterhour service. Using LINE to communicate with them is easy.
There's a cafe next to the inn where you can have breakfast with discount by showing your room card. If you want to travel to places, there are many buses. If not, it is easy to get Uber. For first time traveller to Taichung, he/she will not be aware that toilet paper cannot be thrown into the toilet bowl, so it is good to have a sign to show that.
Overall, the staff are friendly and helpful. For the price, it is value for money.

Rreg333excellent service by all staff; all smiley and ready to help. the free meals were such a bonus and god sent as some days we got too busy with our itinerary and didn’t have time to eat so we would go back to hotel for supper. although the menu was the same everyday, we didn’t mind as the quality was quite decent and there were varieties. the water pressure was the best! bed was comfortable, aircon was cold, smart tv, quick resolution service by technicians when we couldn’t connect to the room wifi. overall would recommend! there’s also a massage service with discount for room guests; quite mediocre but for the price ok la.

JJgoh81Firstly, the hotel management has strong empathy allowing me to cancel 1 night last minute due to family issues that I have to check out 1 day earlier.
But to my surprise, Check in timing is surprisingly at 4pm.
Gym facilities is under renovation but did not prior inform the guest upon check in.
On Trip.com, stated open 2023 which is very misleading that the hotel was newly renovated or newly built. But the rooms are old but luckily not rundown and rooms are clean.
