Nice boutique hotel at the back alley and hotel offers pick up/drop off from the train station (both ways). Also whenever we need a ride to the nearby location within the zone, that can be arranged as some Didi drivers do not want to drive into the narrow back alley. Staff are very helpful and explain clearly on how to get around. Lobby area are comfortable and well decorated. Room is clean and we prefer cotton towel over disposable which we can request from the receptionist. Breakfast needs improvement, personally recommend simple buffet style but not the fixed portion. Two washing machines are duo-tasked (wash/dry) so drying itself may take 3 hours. Overall, still a nice stay in Nanyue 18.

I rarely say this on my reviews, but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Minsu. When I come back to Quanzhou for another family holiday, I will book this place again. Firstly, the location: It is unbeatable. It is near enough to be in the midst of the action in Quanzhou (near the walking street, eateries, restaurants, shopping etc etc), yet very quiet for us to enjoy a good night’s rest, or a good conversation at night over tea. Second, the nice balance between an authentic cultural home and modernism. We had the entire Minsu to ourselves, 6 rooms in total. Renovated about 3-4 years ago, the Minsu gave us the experience of living in an authentic Chinese inn, yet the amenities were modern….comfortable beds, modern toilets, refrigerators available etc….The courtyards were also beautiful. The entire Minsu was tastefully done…..plus it was spotlessly clean. Thirdly, the owners. They were so friendly and helpful. They met us at the drop off point, and brought us to the Minsu when we checked in, helping to move some of our luggages (and they did the same thing when we checked out). They went out of their way to help purchase traditional puppet show (木偶) tickets (at a small discount somemore). After we checked out, my son left his hoodie in the room. The owners assisted to courier the jacket to the next city we were heading to (we were already in the train at that time). And lastly, every morning and every night, either Mr Du, his son or his daughter in law would invite us to join them for tea. They would then proceed to serve tea the traditional way, while having a conversation with us. They also taught us certain traditions, protocols and rules when serving tea. They have a cat called TangYuan (汤圆), in which the kids in the family enjoyed playing with. The only thing to note is that public transport (via taxis and buses) only can drop you off at a spot about 5min walk away. Also, they provide disposable towels, not the regular towels given at hotels. If it is an issue, just bring your own towels. Otherwise, this place deserves 5 out of 5 stars.

InterContinental Quanzhou exceeded my expectations in every way. The hotel has a luxurious atmosphere, beautifully designed interiors, and very comfortable rooms with top-notch facilities. Service was outstanding — the staff were friendly, efficient, and always greeted us with a smile. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the attention to detail really stood out. Although some amenities were simple, the overall quality, comfort, and prime location made it excellent value. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

Dieses Hotel war das komfortabelste, in dem ich je übernachtet habe. Als gebürtige Xinjiangerin war dies mein erster Besuch in Quanzhou, Fujian, und ich hatte hohe Erwartungen an dieses Hotel. Ich hatte eine wundervolle Zeit in Quanzhou, die mich sehr beeindruckt hat. Besonders möchte ich mich beim Hotel bedanken, dass meine Wertsachen gefunden wurden. Die Reinigungskraft, Tante Chen Feiya, war unglaublich vorsichtig und hat sie sicher verwahrt. Selbst zwei Wochen nach meiner Rückkehr hat sie sie noch für mich aufbewahrt. Mein Kollege hat in diesem Zimmer übernachtet und keinen unangenehmen Geruch festgestellt, ich hatte also Pech :). Wie ich in meiner Zimmerbewertung schrieb, sagte auch er, das Zimmer sei makellos sauber und alle Funktionen funktionierten einwandfrei. Die Bewertung basiert auf seiner Einschätzung. Hätte mein Zimmer nicht gerochen, hätte es in den Kategorien Lage, Sauberkeit und Service 5 Sterne bekommen. Die Ausstattung wäre bei 4 Sternen geblieben (es fehlen einige Kleinigkeiten wie bessere Parkmöglichkeiten, zuckerfreies Kaffeepulver und andere Annehmlichkeiten für 5 Sterne; man muss sich aber bewusst sein, dass es sich um ein Business-/3-Sterne-Hotel handelt und es entsprechend bewerten).

Had a comfortable stay at this hotel! It is well situated at a convenient location with a 15mins stroll to the nearby mall. Facilities were well equipped, room was clean and breakfast was ample. It was sweet that they served fruit plate and dessert to my room during the evening. They have their own huge spa centre around the corner, though I only discovered it at the end of my sta. At the same time, the individually operated massage place at the hotel lobby was just as convenient. Highly recommended if you are staying in Shishi!

Das Zimmer ist groß und hell, an der anderen Seite ist der Westsee, das Museum der Tai Tai ist sehr nah, die Weststraße ist sehr bequem, die Wand zerbrochen und empfehlen Busfahrten. Der Hotelservice ist auch sehr nett, das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und der Verkauf von Robotern ist auch schnell (eine schnelle Leuchte ist noch viel). Der Halle ist kostenloser Kaffee, der Burden ist großartig und persönlich hält es für eine zweite Wahl, nach Hangzhou zu fahren.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage. Eine Taxifahrt zur West Street, zum Qingyuan-Berg und zu Museen kostet weniger als 20 Yuan. Im Erdgeschoss gibt es Supermärkte und verschiedene Restaurants. Nach dem Ausgehen kann man unten Obst kaufen und nach oben bringen. Neben dem Aufzug gibt es auch Wasserflaschen für die Gäste. Das Frühstück im Hotel ist hervorragend, mit frischen Zutaten und lecker. Es gibt sowohl chinesische als auch westliche Gerichte. Das Hotel ist sehr günstig. Ich werde beim nächsten Mal wieder hier übernachten.

Das Zimmer war toll, die Rezeptionistin sehr freundlich, und sie haben uns sogar zum Laba-Fest Laba-Porridge zubereitet. Ich kann diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.
