"We were completely exhausted when we checked in and delighted to find a comfy bed with lovely views over the river. We rested for a while and then went to the spa. The pool was just the right temperature as was the sauna and steam room. It was very relaxing. We enjoyed a great meal it was very tasty and served quickly. I'm vegan and gluten free and the choice for me was excellent. We then strolled around outside for a while catching the setting sun. The scenery was gorgeous. We slept really well and again enjoyed the spa facilities before a hearty breakfast and checked put completely refreshed at 11am the next day. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. "Top-notch Behandlung und hervorragende Erfahrung. Alan kümmert sich eindeutig tief um seine Gäste und das Eigentum. Der Wert, den wir erhalten haben, war hervorragend. Wir genossen ein sehr sauberes, komfortables, ruhiges, gut ausgestattetes Schlafzimmer, Bett und volles Bad, zusammen mit einem ausgezeichneten vollen schottischen Frühstück, das lecker war. Wir riefen Alan zu spät am Abend für weise Reisende ein, aber er war bereit, sich zu begeben, um sicher zu sein, dass wir angekommen und waren. Wie meine ganze Zeit in Schottland, wünsche ich mir, dass ich mehr Zeit hätte, um das Stationhaus und die Umgebung zu schätzen und zu erkunden."

"We spent a night at this lovely B & B en route to the Scottish Highlands & we made the right choice. John & Lesley were our friendly hosts & we stayed in “ Silver Birch” one of their 2 garden rooms. Decorated beautifully we felt at home the moment we stepped through the door. There was everything we could need, a comfy bed & pillows, TV with Netflix & a wet room with underfloor heating - devine ! Plenty of storage space, coffee maker & home made “tablet” a nice touch. Breakfast cooked by John was delicious - a full Scottish breakfast including haggis, also fresh berries, yoghurts, cereals, tea & coffee. It was quiet & peaceful with a lovely garden - yet within walking distance of local eateries. Highly recommended for singles or couples but not children."

"Friendly reception on arrival. Was sent a text with a number to meting incase I needed it. Love the tartan carpet. Clean, fresh and well stocked. Extras available if needed for tea, coffee, etc. don’t be put off by the separate shower rooms. They are literally two steps over the hall and robes are provided. Lots of fluffy towels left too. I needed an early start so was left a huge continental breakfast. Remember that the bar is only open Thursday through to Sunday. It is on a busy road but good windows and blackout blinds help. Parking was available outside. Nice green opposite. Great for an overnight stop on my way to Edinburgh."
