Check-in is always very difficult at this hotel. The line is always long. Usually there is only two people checking in guests on a Saturday late afternoon
Occasionally someone comes out from the back I believe an assistant Director after the line has gotten to be about 35 minutes sometimes 40
A lot of the reason for this is there is no guest services personnel on the Saturdays. I have been there or on the Sundays, so everyone who has a question about anything restaurants tours must go to the check-in line.
I would think this would be completely unacceptable for a facility like this. It is very nice facility attached to a very busy convention center and generally everyone is attending some kind of events
It’s actually a little sad that Hilton will not put someone at the guest service desk and also put more people at the front desk. Checking people in it was not one occasion I’ve gone through this several times I’ve asked many employees at the hotel about the guest services person they say there is one, but she is rarely ever there on weekends. Can we please hire another one someone who is willing to work weekends And can we please put more people at the check, someone asked for a manager and assistant Director come out I watched this experience they are usually not much help and seem to have no ability to make decisions they just repeat to the guest. This is the policy
