Das Hotel ist wunderschön und die privaten und öffentlichen Onsen sind einzigartig gestaltet. Die Mahlzeiten sind exquisit. Die Lage ist hervorragend. Der Bambuspfad und wunderschöne Tempel sind zu Fuß erreichbar.

Gute Lage. Bambuswald, Kimonowald und Einkaufsstraße mit großer Auswahl an Restaurants sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Zwei Lebensmittelgeschäfte sind in der Nähe.

Das Ryokan direkt vor dem Bahnhof! Es ist sehr praktisch, es gibt ein sehr entspannendes öffentliches Bad und fünf private Bäder, und wir können uns auch kostenlos einen Yukata ausleihen!!! Und es gibt viele andere kostenlose Sachen.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt von Anfang an genossen. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr gastfreundlich und nett. 🤌 Das Abendessen war köstlich und sehr traditionell. Ich würde gerne bald wiederkommen. ✨

Fantastic location and really great onsen. They lend you a light kimono to walk around in and it feels super comfortable. The service is great, even though be prepared to use your translator app a lot as not everyone speaks English well. Food is included and it’s very good and plenty of it

They have Japanese pyjamas for 2 year old baby. It was so cute. It is a kid friendly hot-spring hotel. I recommend to all family who are visiting kyoto.

It is fantastic for stay at this place when you or your best companion need relax trip for kyoto area, Japan. Clean and traditional, looks old but mix with modern  operating system, kind staffs and nice workers, they know what good hotel personnels need to do. It is satisfying and great experience.

Perfect location right across from one of the train stations, walkable to the famous bridge. No reservation needed for private onsen which is wonderful. Food was very nice for both breakfast and dinner, just feel a bit short of hand, so the service is a bit rushed. The free drinks from the machine is convenient. The room is a bit small.

Love the Onsen and the service. Last but not least, the Konaki time is great!

Hot spring ，room and meals are amazing！I love their public spring even though I don't like public spring before. Different cuisine every meals！ Location is far away from Kyoto downtown，but easy to find once arrive at end of Hankyu Railway. Yukata is provided but small size quickly out，better to grab one asap.

Highly recommended! The environment is pleasant, the service is excellent, and the staff are friendly and approachable. I am especially grateful to a Chinese counter staff member who helped us when my daughter experienced severe nose bleeding that lasted more than 45 minutes. We were extremely worried and reached out to the counter for assistance. She responded immediately, activated the ambulance, and stayed attentive throughout. The ambulance arrived quickly, and the medical staff were both kind and knowledgeable, guiding us on how to stop the bleeding. Thankfully, the bleeding stopped, and there was no need to visit the hospital. Additionally, the breakfast was a delightful experience, featuring special traditional dishes served in a private cubicle for each room. The hot spring was also unique, offering private rooms for a more intimate and relaxing experience.

Public onsen rooms were great, and even the private ones, while small, had their own unique charm. Although a timer on their usage would be good as well, so people don't have to wait too long. The ryokan itself has a pleasantly old-fashoned style, and the design and furniture of the rooms reflect that - but in some cases, a bit of renovation here and there would be welcome. Our room also didn't have any curtains, only an old-fashioned paper sliding one. Which meant the room was bright as midday from 6am. Maybe too old-school for our tastes! We booked a room with dinner and breakfast included, both in kaiseki style. Really nice presentation, but the taste itself was nothing special. As well, the hotel was very busy and the staff kept reminding us we have a set amount to time before we need to finish our meals - definitely not a relaxing atmosphere, where you could enjoy each bite. But they did offer a late-night ramen, great for people finishing up in the onsen.

Service and location was very good. Service was very pleasant and helpful with everything. The hotel was right next to a train station which was convenient, and also next to the mountains with a beautiful view. The room was ok, but there was a bad smell coming from the toilet room and the small fridge in the bedroom was very loud in the evening when we were trying to sleep. Other than that it was a very good experience and the hotel itself is a beautiful Japanese resort with some very good and very warm onsen. Both private and public.
