Schrecklich. Unhöfliches Personal. Eine Zimmerreinigung findet praktisch nicht statt. Sie bekommen eine Geldstrafe. Im Raum finden Sie auf mehreren Seiten eine Bußgeldliste. Sei vorsichtig. Ich empfehle es nicht. Verderben Sie nicht Ihren Urlaub!

Das Hotel in Lamai liegt fünf bis sieben Minuten vom Strand entfernt. Überqueren Sie die Straße, gehen Sie um McDonald's herum, gehen Sie geradeaus nach rechts, dann zu den Cafés und hier ist der Strand. Wir ließen uns direkt neben der Küche nieder und erfuhren, dass es keine Zimmer gäbe, obwohl alles vorhanden sei. Ich empfehle es nicht

Great hotel, we booket a family room - it’s quite huge! 2 bedrooms, common area and a kitchenette. The pool well maintained and clean. All the amenities are clean. The breakfast was ok. The only “minus” - is that the hotel not on the beach. But it’s not a surprise. If it was on the beach it was more than perfect.

Great location! About 5 mins walk to beach, the entrance has a huge 711 convenience store and McDonald's which are 24 hours! Pool is nice and clean. Breakfast is very basic but sufficient

Dies war unser viertes Mal in Pattra. In den letzten 4 Jahren seit dem letzten Besuch hat sich das Hotel verschlechtert. Es fühlt sich an, als hätten die Eigentümer das Hotel den lokalen Managern überlassen. Nun ist „Thai-Management“ aus Pattra eher ein Oxymoron. Überall wird man enttäuscht sein. Schreckliche Einsparungen beim Personal. Beim Einchecken habe ich die Sachen selbst getragen. Daran sind natürlich eine Schubkarre und eine schlanke Frau befestigt, aber sie kann den Koffer nicht heben, und das ist auch nicht nötig. Das Gebiet wurde vernachlässigt. Sie fegen höchstens einmal am Tag, während der Wind Trümmer ins Becken bläst, werden abgefallene Äste nicht rechtzeitig entfernt. Die Vegetation wird schlecht gepflegt – die Bäume werden gelb und fliegen herum, sie werden praktisch nicht bewässert. Früher waren die Hecken in der Nähe der Villen sauber geschnitten, jetzt sind sie nur noch Büsche. Die abgesägten Äste eines Mangobaums in der Nähe der Turnhalle lagen fast drei Wochen lang unentfernt da. Rasenflächen bedeckt mit abgefallenen Blättern und trockenem Gras. Die Sonnenliegen und Sonnenschirme sind von beklagenswerter Qualität und bedürfen eines Austauschs oder zumindest einer Pflege – durch Anstrich, um ihnen eine göttliche Form zu verleihen. Die Schirme verblassten von Rot zu Weiß. Ja, es gibt nur 15 Sonnenliegen für den gesamten Pool. Wenn sie nicht voll beladen sind, gibt es nur Probleme mit der Verfügbarkeit von Matratzen, und in der Woche, in der das Hotel zu 70 % ausgelastet war, werden sie alle von listigen Europäern „reserviert“. die, nachdem sie sie besetzt haben, nicht anwesend sind. Die Verwaltung regelt dieses Problem in keiner Weise. Obwohl der Pool bis 20:00 Uhr geöffnet ist, können die Matratzen nach fünf Uhr von den Sonnenliegen entfernt werden. Und die bescheidenen, die vom Strand kommen, sitzen später auf nackten Brettern. Das frühere herzhafte und abwechslungsreiche Frühstück kann man vergessen – jetzt ist alles auf europäische Einheitlichkeit gebracht. Standardeier, eine Auswahl an Gemüse/Früchten, ein paar lokale „Spezialitäten“: Wantans, Gyoza, Würstchen im Wechsel jeden zweiten Tag. Es gibt keine bereits berühmten Pfannkuchen, Pad Thaya, Reis verschiedener Wahl unter dem Kochmesser je nach Bestellung. Der Kaffee wurde besser - sie stellten eine Kaffeemaschine auf. Aber auch gefiltertes „Braunwasser“ ist erhältlich. Für die ganze Zeit mit dieser Qualität besuchten wir das Frühstück mehrmals. Was die Zimmer angeht, habe ich immer in der gleichen Villa übernachtet, jetzt wurde sie leicht modernisiert, die Decken wurden weiß getüncht, hier und da wurden Möbel hinzugefügt. Aber bei starkem Regen leckt das Dach an der gleichen Stelle, wo es immer leckt. Der Kühlschrank hat aufgehört zu frieren, was sehr deprimierend ist. Das Hotel machte es durch Löten des Rings unmöglich, den Schlüssel von der Power-Management-Karte zu trennen. Wenn Sie gehen, schalten Sie den Raum komplett ab und kehren in einen stickigen Raum zurück. Life-Hack – das Erstellen eines Schlüsselklons kostet in Big C 60 Baht und Sie sind autonom. Auch das Putzen verläuft ohne Wow-Effekt, die jetzigen Zimmermädchen sind nicht mehr die beiden fröhlichen Omas, die uns gegen Trinkgeld immer abwechselnd den Vortritt ließen, Schwäne aus Handtüchern drehten und im Kinderzimmer mit dem Chaos zurechtkamen, auch die Wäsche wurde gewechselt es wird schmutzig, und zwar nicht an 3-4 Tagen. Jetzt essen die Mägde von 12 bis 13 Uhr zu Mittag. Bereits um 11:45 Uhr, nachdem das Zimmer nebenan fertig ist, beginnen sie nicht mit der Reinigung Ihres Zimmers und gehen lieber früher zum Mittagessen. Trotz der angesetzten Mittagsstunde dauert ihre tote Stunde fast bis 14:00 Uhr. Du wurdest dazu gezwungen

Mein Mann und ich verbrachten hier 3 Nächte auf einer Reise nach Koh Samui. Die Unterkunft war riesig (2 Schlafzimmer) mit Schiebetüren in ein Gemeinschaftsbad. Küche/Essbereich/Wohnzimmer mit viel Platz. Terrassenförmiger Sitzbereich mit einfachem Zugang zum Pool. Die Unterkunft war sauber und luftig. Piyathida Sonprasom an der Rezeption ging über ihre Pflicht hinaus, uns unterzubringen, und brachte uns sogar in eine Bar, um den Bruder meines Mannes zu treffen (Überraschungsbesuch), da wir mit Lamai nicht vertraut waren. Ich würde dieses kleine Refugium auf jeden Fall empfehlen und würde wiederkommen, wenn ich nach Koh Samui zurückkehre.

This is a pretty hotel near to lamai nightlife/ restaurants. We stayed in the block but there are also lovely bungalows to choose from. The rooms were large, clean with a comfy bed and good air conditioning. The patios were large with two comfy chairs and ceiling fan. The room itself was a little quirky because when you opened the glass door to get into the fridge you can see into the bathroom which is a little odd. The pool was lovely and in the sun all day which made it extremely warm. The sunbeds were always available but it was quiet season so I assume they will bring more out at peak time because there were only about 12 to use. Breakfast consisted of eggs made to your liking, croissants and pastry’s, toast, bacon and a small choice of Thai meals. Fruit and yoghurt was also available. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful during our stay. There is a safe in the room and I would advise everyone to use this. A neighbour of ours left £95 euros in her handbag which went missing from the room. The lady explained to us that after this occurred one of the maids that previously made conversation with her changed and would not look her in the eye which was suspicious. There are signs on all the doors to lock valuables away.

I cannot praise this resort enough. All the staff are fantastic. The rooms are beautiful, spacious & extremely clean. The gardens & pool are also looked after so well. Located in the middle of Lamai. Lots of nightlife, bars & restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Rooms are set back and very quiet. I will definitely stay here again.

A small hotel with 8 rooms and 14 villas. It was less than half full for all of our 16 night stay, sometimes emptier. Occupied rooms ranged from 2 up to 6, par for the course in Low Season. However, there were no shortcuts taken by the hotel. The hotel is tidy, clean but could do with updating. Ongoing maintenance was in evidence throughout our stay, but never intrusive. A few little gripes. Your room actually has a physical key, not a smart card, so you have to take it out with you. Reception is still open when we were going out in the evening, but closed on our return with the Night Security Guard in his hut. The safe is operated with a combination of a bent paper clip, a key and a code. It did the job, though. The room had limited storage space. Which meant I had no storage space. There were no drawers, apart from “false drawers”, shelving was next to the safe. The missus complained that the “drop” in the wardrobe was far too short for her dresses. Onto the good stuff. And there was lots. We arrived late morning after leaving home 25 hours earlier, but 3 hours before check in. After a cold drink on arrival, we were ushered straight to our room. Less than 25 yards away. The missus asked for the loan of an iron and ironing board at some stage. The Manageress brought them within 3 minutes and left them in our room for the duration of our stay. The bathroom was large, as was the shower cubicle. The shower was powerful with a handy shelf for our toiletries alongside the hotel’s. The bed was enormous, hard and comfortable. The AirCon was very effective and very welcoming as the outside temperature hit 37 degrees for almost half of our stay. The pool was less than 30 steps away and very large. Especially when there was only us there. Which was pretty much the case for all of our stay. Breakfast was good but basic. Everything was there than you could want. The staff pulled out all the stops, even when there was only us and a family of 4 staying, which was the case for about 5 days. In fact it was a surprise when there were new faces at Breakfast. The location couldn’t be better. The main road is 30 yards out the gate, the centre of Lamai. Opposite is a 7/11, 30 yards to the right is Cocktails by Pik and 30 yards to the left over the road is the Bondi Bar. Because of so few guests, we became like a small intimate family. The staff were really friendly, from the Manageress thru to the Breakfast Girl, the Egg Chef, the cleaners, the Maintenance Guys all the way to the Night Security Guard. The beach is only a few hundred yards away but we’re more Pool People now. Especially when we’ve got it to ourselves. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. We absolutely loved our time there.

Lovely little hotel right in the middle of the nightlife of Lamai. Our villa was immaculate with great aircon. Breakfast was very good but limited choice due to the size of the hotel. The location is brilliant right opposite a 7eleven so you can get drinks snacks etc there. Only criticism is that the noise form the karaoke bar opposite can be a bit annoying if you want to sit outside in the evenings, but it’s not an issue inside the rooms.

Stayed Sep-2022 for 3 nights in deluxe room. Traditional key for opening the front door plus a key card for the electricity. Large well furnished ground floor room with extra sofas on the terrace. Kettle and cups supplied. Shower cubicle was totally enclosed. Aircon on ceiling blowing down on foot of bed however it was a high ceiling. The safe required both a combination plus a key to open it (a key alone would not open it). The included breakfast consisted of “Fresh orange juice, fruit, dumplings and a single Thai dish plus rice all from the buffet. All guests were also provided with an additional cooked to order dish (Thai, eggs or pancakes). I travelled last year when tourism was just beginning to pick up, so breakfast may not have been as extensive as perhaps it is now. Nice outside pool, didn’t swim in it though. I booked a twin room, however my travelling companion was unable to make it, so after the first night the staff pushed the two large beds together to make a huge single bed. Lovely staff, will stay again.

My husband and I stayed at Pattra Vill Resort for 20 days and we enjoyed it there. Our room on the top floor was very spacious with parquet flooring and a balcony. The bathroom/toilet was big and lots of room to move around. The resort is just off the main road in Koh Samui and is very centrally located. 7/11 is just a two minute walking distance. There is a money changer as soon as your get out of the hotel and turn to the right; there's also another one if you go to the left of the hotel. Heaps of massage places and places to eat...but beware...prices are much more expensive than Bangkok. McDonald's is just outside the hotel and is 24/7. We enjoyed swimming in the pool everyday though the water was rather warm due to the intense April heat. The pool is safe for kids as there is an area for kids at one end of the pool. One thing that annoyed is is that the housekeeping staff talk and yell when they are cleaning the rooms and around the pool area. They need to understand and realise that guests are there to relax and it would be very nice if they could tone their voices down. Breakfast at the hotel was mediocre: western food would consist of baked beans, bacon, can sausages, bread, butter and the like and Thai food (steamed dumplings, fried mini spring rolls etc), fresh fruits. juice, tea and coffee. You can have fried, boiled or scrambled eggs and the girl will do it for you. Housekeeping girl Nid (that's her name) is not very generous with water, tea or coffee. She refused to give us the two water bottles that we had paid for in the booking and entitled to as we had some water left in the minibar. When I asked her for our daily water quota, she said we still have water and refused to give. I spoke to the Receptionist girl Botang (her name) about this issue and we had our water then. If you run out of tea and coffee, they don't replenish until you ask for it. We had to ask a few times. Nid would, on several occasions, leave the coffee cups and things unwashed. She was not the best housekeeping girl as she would only make the bed and sweep the floor and she was gone. She was very slack and left a lot of things undone and unfinished. We hired two motorcycles from the hotel, one for my husband and I, and the other for our daughter and her partner who were staying in the next room. The motorcycles were advertised and priced for 400 baht a day at the Receptionist counter. We shopped around outside and the motorcycle place opposite the hotel was doing it for 250 baht a day for a 155cc. So I told Botan and Lek (the other receptionist girl) and negotiated the price, and eventually got it for 250 baht a day for both the motorcycles. We found out later that Botan had given a German gentleman for 200 baht a day only for the same kind of motorcycle hired. So be careful as they would say any price that comes into their mind.
