Joylife Hotel

I’ve stayed at the Joy life six or so times over a few years. It’s flagged as a small budget family friendly hotel, it’s certainly is exceedingly friendly. Not many hotels introduce you to the current guests The General Manager Sophia is a lovely lady. BUT if you wish to behave like a lout, be disrespectful to her, her staff and other guests, may god help you ! Cleanliness is superb, and Sophia will go out of her way to make your stay a pleasure. An example when we could not get a taxi she arranged for her handyman to run us into town. Breakfast is a must all fresh locally sourced ingredients. Bar over looking the immaculately maintained pool. A few rules about safety around the pool, these are in place to keep you and others safe from slipping over Highly recommended, keep up the great work, Regards David & Penny

Sofia is a horrible horrible person. Almost went out of her way to ruin other people's holiday.. Most people I spoke to around the pool said that exact same thing. Mold in the kitchenette, called itself a hotel, jumped up apartments at best.

I don't recommend to anyone this 'hotel' everything is old, spiders in every corner, mold in the bathroom they use a white spray to cover the mold, please avoid this place, Sofia the 'manager ' not very friendly, bad attitude, swimming pool was OK, accommodation disgusting, fridge smell like a dead body etc... disappointed

If you want to stay somewhere with friendly helpfull staff that make you feel welcome then please don't stay here!!! Location was good just a shame it was ruined by the owner, with worse attitude ever! So thanks to this experience I will probably never return to this resort and certainly never these apartments!!

Another fantastic year at Joylife, this is such a special place for me and my family and we absolutely love it here, Sofia and Kostas are absolutely beautiful people, nothing is ever too much trouble and they make us feel so welcome it feels like home. Our room was fantastic as always, clean, comfortable and spacious and the real greek feeling that we love. The food was fantastic as always, its always fresh and tasty and good prices. The smoothies are delicious and my favourite B52 no one makes it like Joylife 😋. If you're thinking of staying here go for it because it's a beautiful place with beautiful people running it, they all work exceptionally hard to make your holiday amazing. Sofia and Kostas S'agapò and we will see you next year for another fantastic year. Xxx

This hotel was recommended by my brother but after reading some reviews I was a little unsure. I can say hand on heart that Sophia and Carlos were perfect hosts, the hotel is clean and the pool area is so relaxing. The walk into sidari takes about 15/20 minutes I would recommend a taxi back if it is dark as the roads are winding and the pavement only goes halfway. The closest supermarket to the hotel is 5 minutes and the staff there are lovely. We had a fantastic holiday and will definitely go back soon.

Lovely welcoming owner who makes you feel at home. This hotel is beautiful very clean, tidy & well kept. The pool is lovely, clean & a good size for all the family. Its a fair walk in to sidari at approx 25mins but managable & also a 5min taxi ride at €6.

Well, what can I say about our week at joy life. Apart from what a wonderful , relaxing week we had full of laughter and sunshine.helped along by the lovely Sophia , Costas and her wonderful team. Nothing was to much trouble. Suggestions on places to eat . Places to visit. They knew it all. As the hotel was quiet we had our room cleaned every day with fresh towels also. Cant thank you all enough. Already looking to book again .

Ok so...we stayed here in sept,firstly the hotel check in was a friendly man who got us checked in fast,and then showed us to our room.. ...when we got to the room it wasnt what we expected...the room was a good size!..but...it faced the back wall of the hotel..it was soo dark in and the balcony when we opend the doors...it was sooo small and over looked, we couldnt sit out and enjoy a drink there because it was soo uncomfertable with next door gob shites!!..and also the bints used our walls as there stinky washing line... not very nice realy!!....on to complain about the room and the view i went ....i waited till 6pm to see sophia...who right away said ok i will move you in 2 days time..we were happy with this move when she came and told us we were getting a pool view on the first floor..we felt much happier the balcony was soo much bigger and we then enjoyed our evenings chilling with a drink or 2...the air con was €50 it did make some noise,and there was a pump under our room if we didnt have the air con we would have been awake all night with the pump noise... The pool was kept lovley and clean an round the hotel is kept clean an tidy too also.. The breakfast was ok set us up till lunch,we had toast an some mornings we had ham and cheese,..the upgrade made our stay more joyfull.. the pool was nice,sophia was attentive an always there to see you if you needed anything...over all we did have lovley holiday in sidari the weather was amaizing the beaches are fantastic and would we return...maybe not to this hotel but to sidari Thankyou...
