沒有room service，床單有幾根別人的頭髮。但酒店環境還行，就地理位置不如Hanalei beach，不如住那邊熱鬧。

Leider haben wir bei Ankunft nicht das gebucht Apartment erhalten (Oeacen View). Wir haben stattdessen in ein Apartment mit Blick auf die Lagoone erhalten. Gebuchte Größe war gleich, 2 Schlafzimmer und 2 Badezimmer. Vor Ort konnte man dann sehen das die Häuser mit Meerblick renoviert werden. Die Damen an der Rezeption hatte uns mitgeteilt, dass wir eine Erstattung in Höhe von 2 Nächten bekommen,da wir ein Downgrade erhalten haben. Der Betrag wurde angeblich bereits Wochen vor unserer Ankunft erstattet. Da die Buchung über ein Reisebüro lief mussten wir erst Rücksprache halten. Am Ende war es so, dass man uns, seitens des Hotels, diese Bestätigung nicht schriftlich oder per Mail geben wollte. Das Reisebüro musste schriftlich Kontakt zum Management herstellen, die dies dann erst bestätigt haben. Über das Reisebüro haben wir dann erfahren , dass diese in der letzten Zeit nur Probleme mit den Buchungen hatten und der Kontakt zu den Verantwortlichen sehr schwierig herzustellen ist. Das Reisebüro bucht diese Anlage ab sofort nicht mehr. Prinzipiell war es sauber. Jedoch war die Ausstattung schon sehr alt und alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Balkon konnte nicht wirklich genutzt werden, da die Fontäne in der Lagoone so laut war und den ganzen Tag über lief. Ausreichend Handtücher waren vorhanden. Parkplätze vor der Tür, jedoch keinem bestimmten Apartment zugeordnet. Der Poolbereich des auf dem Gelände liegenden Hotels darf mitgenutzt werden. Das ist ein Pluspunkt. Wasserauffüllstationen vorhanden und auch BBQ Station. Nur leider waren diese entweder defekt oder vollkommen verdreckt.

We stayed here through an RCI exchange. I read all of the reviews, even the negative ones, and decided to go ahead and give it a go. We were not disappointed! The staff was very kind. There are daily "activities". There is a shed with beach things that you can borrow, chairs, floaties, shade covers, etc. Our room was perfect! Full kitchen. Two full bathrooms and a very comfortable king size bed. I highly recommend this location. The A/C was perfectly set at 70 degrees and the room was totally comfortable.

UPDATE 6:30 a.m. 6/21/2024: After calling again, someone was finally sent to our room to spray the kitchen around 11:00 a.m. You would think that would help, BUT, last night, as my daughter was getting a bowl from the cabinet, she was greeted by another cockroach. This time, it was BIG! I opened the other side of the cabinet to be startled by 2 more big ones running around! After spending hours trying to kill them and cleaning roach droppings, I called the front desk and was told again that no one could come until morning since she did not have access to the spray. I mentioned that the person who came in the morning said that he has sticky traps, but that management doesn't like to use them. I told him that we already know that the roaches exist and wanted them. When the maintenance person arrived I showed him the video and even he was shocked by the size. His exact words, "Oh wow, ma'am. That is big!" I asked if other units are having the same issue and he claimed that we were the only ones. While he was there, he found a few more dead ones under the sink. He placed several traps down and now we are waiting for someone to come spray. Meanwhile, right before I submitted this review, I went to check and two of our roach friends are stuck on the trap still alive and moving. I haven't even checked the others. This is completely unacceptable and there is no offer or option to switch rooms. Instead, I have to spend hours of my vacation trying to kill roaches and sanitize everything. Thankfully we decided not to cook or use the kitchen, but any snacks we have that are open have been shoved into the refrigerator. I mean, has anyone had to refrigerate a bag of Doritos before? The 2 stars originally given is now 1. 6:15 a.m. 6/20/2024: We are currently here at Kauai Beach Villas and the rooms though spacious, could use a little updating. The grounds are nice and the option to use the pool at the Outrigger is great because it makes it feel more like you're staying at a resort. The reason for 2 stars is due to the cleanliness of the room. When we checked in, the kitchen counter still had leftover pieces of rice on it and there were crumbs on the kitchen table. Utensils had leftover food stuck to it, so my advice is to stick everything into the dishwasher before using them. Knives are rusted and the linens were stained. The couch was filthy, stained and it felt gross to sit on it. Additionally, we ate out the first two nights, so we hadn't really spent any time in the kitchen because we're not cooking, but decided to order food for takeout last night and found a COCKROACH run across the kitchen floor! I decided to check all the cabinets and found two more under the sink and a dead fly next to some dishes. I immediately called the front desk because the last thing I wanted was to bring one them home with me. The person who answered the phone was not surprised. She mentioned that the rooms are sprayed once a month, but that she would send someone in the mo

Although the beachfront property the resort is located on is gorgeous, I was shocked to see the state of the “villas” on this property. Upon checking into my room, I was horrified to find extremely old and outdated furniture; old, stained carpeting- and a mildew smell in the bedroom. There were wood planks that shuttered half the windows, and they were mildew-y and coming apart; they didn’t shut all the way. The light and sink fixtures were ancient (the hot fixture didn’t work), and the moulding and baseboards were chipped and coming apart. The TV in the bedroom didn’t work either, and the closet in the bedroom kept getting stuck. And on top of all this- all of the vents in the “villa” were FILTHY, like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. And upon further investigation walking around the property, TWO of the buildings were fenced off to the public, with signs saying DANGER and DO NOT ENTER- they were in complete ruin!! After two nights, I no longer felt comfortable staying there and moved to a different property. PLEASE do yourself a favor and RUN from this property. Do NOT book here, it nearly ruined my vacation.

The staff here are wonderful. They are all very friendly and answered my emails and questions promptly. The grounds are very nice and good amenities since you get access to all Outrigger amenities except the fitness center. There are 3 pools which is great because the beach is not meant for swimming. My only complaint is the units need some updating. Very old dishwashers, mirrors and carpets look like they all need replacing and AC in units is hit and or miss. Some worked great while others did not cool down the rooms properly. Overall lovely experience though!

No apologies.... instead, she went on to say that Hawaii is very humid so roaches are everywhere and are in every home no matter how clean they are. I'm not sure if that is truly the case or not, but I don't live with roaches in my home, and definitely don't want to accidently bring them home. Though she offered to send someone to spray in the morning, she was very dismissive by trying to justify why there were roaches, as if I should just accept it. We are Worldmark owners, have stayed in many WorldMark resorts before and have never had this experience. This is the first time we exchanged for a Wyndham location and needless to say am very disappointed with the cleanliness of the unit and even more with the response from the front desk.

Great place to avoid crowds. Very quiet, can walk a long way on the beach. Not a swimming beach, but we still got in to cool off.

Beds were comfortable and unit very clean! Very nice. We had kitchen, dining area and patio. Enjoyed our stay very much. Office staff were very friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay here again.

Staff was very friendly and responsive. Unit was larger than is typical, but could use updating. Beds were very comfy. Air conditioning and water pressure were both great. The grounds were very pretty. Pool was nothing special, but it is an easy walk to the pools at the next-door resort and could be used by Villa residents. A very big, pretty, but not swimmable beach was just beyond the resort pools - nice for a walk. Location in Lihue was okay but far away from most tourist interests. We found the closest nice restaurants to be in Poipu - about a 15-minute drive. Being on the east side of the island makes it pretty central if you want to see all the sites.

We actually enjoyed our 2 night stay and slept quite well. We were only there to sleep as we had lots of activities to fill our days. The 2 bedroom unit was fine for our family. It was better than expected after reading some other reviews. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to use the amenities around the complex, like the pool at the Outrigger but is was all good for our short stay. Coffee provided but no filters for the machine. Staff at check in helpful and friendly. Parking available outside the unit and the unit was up a set of stairs.

The furniture is old and stained, the air conditioner is on the balcony. The entry into the room is in a hole with trash around it. There is parking just out side our room but it’s for the outrigger hotel, we have to walk about 100 yards to park. Very disappointed!

First of all, let me say that the location was excellent, people working there were the best, the grounds were immaculate, and availability of ocean access and pool access was adequate. On the other hand, the rooms were in dire need of updating. We can handle outdated furniture and plumbing, however, the musty smell was indicative of mold. Some units experienced flooding, so we are sure it was an ongoing issue, since they were opened up shortly after. If the units were in better shape, it would be an excellent place to stay.

Property needs a huge amount of renovations in bathrooms & kitchen! Location is approx 10-15 mins from Lihue airport. Staff are working hard here but management should step up & spend money for renovation Inside units & in common area such a pool & spa !
