The hotel was in a quiet area near the city. Room was ok but I had to change it as it smelt of smoke. Hotel changed it without fuss which was good. Food at the restaurant was good and authentic. Enjoyed my stay and will return.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property - the views from the room were incredible, and the staff was superb! Special thanks to Moureen, Sarafina, Dorothy, and Florence for the wonderful experience at the lounge, Brian from housekeeping for making sure I had everything I needed throughout the stay, Chef Emmanuel, Christine and Jennifer from security, and Annette, Fiona, Angellah and the laundry team for the trememdous service! But an even more special thanks to Barnabus for assisting me the entire stay with all my needs, including a few issues I ran into from the airport with my bags. What a really sharp and talented person Barnabus is - I am truly grateful! Thank you Sheraton Kampala team for a truly phenomenal stay!

Sheraton Kampala is easily accessible yet a safe hideaway from the busy life of the city. The simple, yet excusite scuplted gardens give you a peaceful space to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. A passionate army of staff in various roles engulf you with Uganda' s most prized gift, hospitality. Members of staff litter pearls of joy, contentment and pride in their various roles everywhere, enhasing comfort and delight around them. The level of personalised customer service is enviable. How they manage to truly be international beats my understanding! You experience a wealth of diversity - incorporating a wide range of cultures from the country and other countries of the world in all they do are embody, and yet remain 🇺🇬 Ugandan. Prestine environment in every corner of their premises. Delicious meals every time, that breakfast is top range. Everything is fresh!!!! There's something extraordinary about that food! 150% to chiefs, Milly and her hosting team. Richard and team at front desk, you are amazing. Execellent Executive Lounge service. My husband and I always enjoy our experience. Thank you for making our birthday so special. Sheraton Kampala is an excellent representation of Marriot Bonvoy. We arrived at Sheraton Kampala on the 28th July 2024 after a very long flight at around 01.00am. We received a very warm welcome from the Sevurity at the entrance of the hotel the doorman, the luggage porter and all night staff at the Front Desk, who recognised me as one of the Marriott Bonvoy elite member and thanked me for my royally. I would like to thank Bruce at the Front for listening to our issues we had and took action to resolve it. We thank everyone at the Breakfast restaurant. From the minute you step in at the restaurant, they address me by my name. I would like to thank Peace who always made sure we get our usual teas without us asking as she new what we always want. Thank you the Egg chefs Emmanuel and Ismail for the Egg Benedict and waffles you made. Very delicious 😋 Thank you all the chef who work behind the scenes. The food was amazing and delicious and well presented. Thank you Michael and Millie You always made sure if anything was missing you brought it on our table direct. Thank you the staff who served us dinner. Very efficient (sorry forgot the names,) Thank you the Director of Finance who took time to speak to us during our stay at Breakfast The ladies at the spa, Aisha and the lady who gave us our massages Thank you so much. Thank you Housekeeping Team. Overall the staff are very friendly and attentive to details. Hotel is good for value Definately we will come back again

Something special is happening here. You can feel it right from the front gate. Someone is ramping up on the customer care. This is clearly the mission at Sheraton Kampala. I cannot recall how many staff members asked me how I was and whether I was having a good time. Everyone wants to please. With all the new hotels and more coming up, Sheraton has to up the game. Age shows. Big recommendation is highlight the gardens. Work with KCCA and make an urban forest of indigenous species.

Excellent hotel, terrific staff. As a Platinum member, I had access to the club floor and club lounge. I practically lived in the club lounge during my stay! Service was excellent, with the exception of one woefully inconsistent attendant. Florence is a superstar. The rooms are a little small but nicely appointed with stunning views of Kampala. The grounds are beautiful with ample places to walk. The pool and health club is excellent. All in all a gem.

The Sheraton Kampala is really a legacy for Kampala..having been around for a long time, this hotel exudes charm and really has the most beautiful gardens! Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the food was really utterly delicious! I would definitely come back!

Sheraton Kampala is my new favorite hotel in the city. Having stayed at numerous other hotels on business trips over the years, I found the Sheraton to be better than their competitors; mostly due to the excellent customer service and numerous hotel dining options. My two-week stay was enjoyable. The grounds of the Sheraton are also impressive; expansive and seemingly great for hosting large events. Check in and check out were easy and the hotel even sports a mobile key option (that works!). I’ll try to stay here again during future visits.

I am a carnivore. Usually we get challenging orders. This time around I was served my Ms. Fortunate who recommended what I would say was my best meal this year. It was right to what I wanted and the source and the side dish were all excellent. The service was top notch after a whole day flight I felt to be at the right place.

I stayed two nights at the Sheraton for work. This rooms were spacious and clean. Though they are starting to be a bit dated. The bathroom was clean and a nice size shower. There were elevators to the rooms (I learned during my trip this would be the only hotel I stayed at that had elevators as others only did stairs). The staff were friendly and kind, especially Barnabus when we arrived. I also had communicated with them prior to our stay for transportation to the hotel from the airport and that went very smoothly.
