-2nd time staying bcus I had a pretty good experience during my 1st stay. HOWEVER, this time round was DISAPPOINTING.
-Let's talk about why this stay w them was disappointing. Wifi was not working, had to use another room's wifi but sure it works lol. The apartment uses digital lock, ours was low in battery on the D1 evening, I messaged the host team and inform them about it but no action taken. D2 afternoon when I was heading out, the door couldnt lock due to low battery. I asked for someone to fix it since I can't leave my belongings in the apt unlocked while the door is consistently saying "low battery, door is not lock" (something along that line). They told me they'll inform the technician. I asked if we could move our stuff to another room first as we have plans (trip was meant to be Mother's day celebration for mum & grandma). Unfortunately, no other rooms avail for us to put, host team did not even bother giving me any other solution and just ask me to wait for updates. OF COURSE no updates from them and I had to repeatedly ask for updates, then they told me technician busy and will get back to me, yes some time later, NOTHING FROM THEM. I waited for someone to come fix the door issue for more than 1hr. That's when they finally gave me an alternative solution LOL and ask me to try manual lock instead. They sent me a video (which let's be honest, not v helpful) but i managed to lock it manually after 5-7mins as it was v difficult to access and kept getting stuck when locking(turning). Then we went out, at night when we came back, GUESS WHAT? YES STILL NOT FIXED (: The host team had the whole afternoon-night to fix but NOTHING WAS DONE. There was no way for me to lock from the inside, it's so DANGEROUS to have the door unlocked (with beeping coming out from the digital lock - from the outside, telling ppl that the door is not lock). We had to use chairs to block the door from the inside to keep it at least a little bit safer. I contacted the host team AGAIN. Just nice, there was another host (he has other rooms listed for short stays) passed by our apt and saw us struggling, he said he know the owner (personally or something) then he texted him and helped us tell him the issue (kudos to him). They then FINALLY sent someone down to fix it (AFTER 10.5 HOURS). The technician came and changed the battery and I asked why he didn't come earlier when this was informed in the day. GUESS WHAT? He say they were busy and prob FORGOTTEN, they realised that they MISSED OUT until I prompt them again when I texted at night after reaching back to the apt. - THIS IS THE SERVICE THEY PROVIDE LOL. I asked for a partial refund as it affected my trip and HAHA they wanna compensate me a free late checkout of 30mins. (: FUNNY ANOT? LOL. Obviously that is unacceptable, this disrupted our trip - missing our plans, wasted our time and effort and you're giving me 30mins late checkout? LOL then the host team say to give me max 1hr late checkout... Like seriously, not okay, they were NOT EVEN TRYING, I wasnt even planning to check out late, was in fact planning to check out early as we have plans alr. I asked for better compensation but NOPE NOTHING FROM THEM. They have the audacity to say they gave me some option w manual lock lol that was like after wasting my time and messing my trip alr. I had to contact trip.com for this matter and GUESS WHAT HAHA trip.com couldn't contact the host team at all. They ignored trip.com's email and the platform offered to compensate me on their own - thank you trip.com. Idk if the host team even replied at all. BUT LETS JUST SAY THIS SHOWS ALOT ABT THE TEAM.
-Good thing is: Place is clean. There's security guards patrolling. Location is fine (near checkpoint but you need to walk for quite awhile before reaching the apt). View is good. Netflix avail.
