Fairview Inn

We hosted a Rehearsal Dinner here. Everything was beautiful and well executed. The Ribeyes were cooked perfectly as was the fish. We received so many compliments on the food from our guests. “Excellent appetizers” was another comment received. I highly recommend the Fairview Inn for your special event planning!

We visited a number of distinguished southern mansions on our trip to the Deep South, but few offered the opportunity for a sleepover like the Fairview Inn. Our room was located in a modern annex, which was conveniently linked to the historic mansion. The annex has been added quite sensitively, providing plenty of rooms without impacting upon the historic grandeur of the original mansion. Our room was unrestrained in its Classical styling, although the effect was more Caesar’s Palace than Colonial revival. Still, the room was very large, clean and in good condition and we came to quite enjoy the over-the-top décor. The Inn has an excellent bar and restaurant, with a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. We didn’t encounter any better options in Jackson and, in any event, why travel when you have such a lovely place to dine just steps from your room? The Inn is located in a very pleasant residential area, with easy access to the attractions of Jackson.

I have stayed at the Fairview Inn several times this year while visiting family in Jackson. It's a beautiful place, with a delicious hot breakfast and friendly staff. All the rooms are spacious and lovely, furnished with antiques and with every amenity you'll need.
