I recently stayed at The Central Hotel Taksim, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and outstanding hospitality. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and they ensured I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities provided were of excellent quality. I also loved the beautiful view of the city from my room, which made my stay even more memorable.
The hotel’s location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Taksim, close to all the main attractions, restaurants, and shops. Despite its central location, the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, perfect for unwinding after exploring the vibrant streets of Istanbul.
The breakfast buffet was a highlight of my stay, offering a wide range of delicious options to start the day. The restaurant staff were attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, my time at The Central Hotel Taksim exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul, whether for business or leisure. I will definitely be returning on my next trip!

The rooms were spacious, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was varied and delicious and the mattress was very comfortable. For any problems, Emre was quite helpful. Near the metro so handy for getting around. Fitness center available too

Karam, the person at the reception, welcomed us very politely and catered to our queries respectfully. He suggested for the right room for 3 and provided us with a suite room. Mustafa too was polite. Besides them, most of the staff was absolutely rude and not at all respectful. The staff at the breakfast area was decent. As far as the rooms are concerned, they are pretty decent and well maintained. Really nice rooms with bathrooms too. The room service was not good. We stayed for 2 days but both the days, after room cleaning, water was not provided. On requesting for water, a lady staff replied that the water would be provided in the afternoon. We had to go to the reception and argue to get our bottles. Buffet: Breakfast a some variety and the space is cozy and good to sit. All the types of bread provided for the breakfast were hard. The kiosk for orange juice did only give out water on one of the days. Location: location is really great as it is close to Istiklal street which is a vibrant street to roam for long.

A beautiful hotel, with beautiful rooms and old and classic Victorian decoration. Beautiful lobby with the same decoration in the same style. It reminded me of the houses and guest houses in Harry Potter☺️🧙. The breakfast was not very interesting, but it was acceptable. The price was reasonable in proportion to the facilities. The rooms of this hotel are spacious and big compared to the hotels in the region.

This is just a review of the little coffee shop attached to the hotel but we expect the same applies to the property. Please read to the end :-) The front window is filled - ok, rammed - with wonderful Turkish bakeries, trays of baklava and similar wonders. We had to go in after the obligatory and rather wonderless circuit of Taksim. Heaven. Absolute heaven. We were welcomed, treated royally and heard all about the owner's experience as a student in the UK. Never has the word anglophile been better deserved. Two sweets, Turkish tea and a lovely coffee. Plus a brief lesson in Turkish. We had a huge problem settling the bill... we didn't have a note SMALL enough. Seriously... can you get all that for a fiver in Istanbul's equivalent of Leicester Square? Fabulous. We have a free shuttle from our hotel that stops by this treasure at Taksim. We'll be back tomorrow :-) PS I suspect the hotel will be as nicely run as its coffee shop. Prices excellent looking here on TripAdvisor. We'd certainly give it a go next time!

This is something you expect from an apartment hotel in one of the busiest places of Istanbul, not bad, but not a luxury hotel. Guests This hotel was filled with Iranian and Arab tourists whom are just minding their own business and are not loud or anything. Breakfast Breakfast was ok but hotels in Turkey are generally not so clean and I can not expect the process of food preparation being really "clean" but it was ok for 5 days we were there. Rooms Rooms were ok with air-conditioning and nice bathroom and generally hotel was not noisy or annoying despite being located in a busy area, room cleaning and technical services were satisfying Overall verdict I would choose this hotel for short stays if I really need to be close to taksim or if I don't wanna spend that much, but if I plan to stay with family and just enjoy a trip to Istanbul I rather pay more for bigger and more luxurious hotels

The hotel is very closely located near taksim Square. Good rooms. Breakfast provided was ok. We had one room facing the Bhosporous river and the other city side. Decent restaurants , departmental stores, and shopping areas near the hotel.

Excellent location just a few minutes walk from Taksim square. We had a sea view room on the 11th floor. Quite spacious and clean but it smelled badly of cigarette smoke (although the hotel is non smoking!) Although the room was on the 11th floor, it was noisy. Towels were changed every day and rooms cleaned. The hotel decor is quite dated. Breakfast offered a variety of choice but no oat or almond milk. Same with yoghurt - just normal yoghurt and nothing lactose free.

Amazing hotel, just what I needed for a short break. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. My room was spacious, clean and the bathroom 😍 had everything I needed including water, tea and coffee sachets and a kettle. The breakfast was a hot and cold buffet with loads of choices as well as offering eggs made you your specifications. There’s nothing I can fault about this hotel and would highly recommend it.
