A wonderful place to stay! Shirley went above and beyond to accommodate me on my stay on the Island. Clean, comfortable, quiet & welcoming with a great view of the Douglas Bay. My first visit to the Isle Of Man was made complete on discovering this gem of a guesthouse. Wonderful breakfasts too! If I could give six stars, I wouldn't hesitate. Thank you again for making my stay perfect.

My wife booked for 4 nights at this guest house and we had 3 breakfasts. The weather was mixed but the comfort and hospitality at this hotel made up for it. The rooms are cleaned and serviced every day. Breakfast was made especially entertaining by Luke with no request to much trouble. There was loads to eat and it was good quality and piping hot. Our room was on the third floor and did not have a sea view. It did not matter. It was very comfortable and had the usual tea making facilities. The only thing lacking was a mini fridge to keep the wine cool. We will return.

The hotel is well located, on Queen's promenade, so some rooms (including mine) had a sea view. That was nice to see the sun rise or hear the see. Much choice for breakfast (both continental and English). The room was correct, clean, but could be better... Luggage storage is possible, that's convenient.

This was our second visit and the only place we will stay on the island. The property is extremely clean as was our bedroom very comfortable and cleaned regularly. Breakfast is superb and luke provides a fantastic service. Shirley is an amazing host and nothing is too much trouble.

This is a delightful guest house with the lovely Shirley ensuring everything is as it should be, rooms are very clean and my bed was comfortable, breakfasts are excellent with plenty of choice and the buffet is hot and lovely. Finding it is a nightmare, when you find the road on the address off the sea front ignore it and take the next turning called Switzerland and there it is, utterly lost and seriously confused a very kind plumber led us to it from about a mile away and after 40 mins off fruitless searching and some stress.

I had to postpone my visit and received really thoughtful care and help setting my mind at ease about the visit, especially since I was travelling alone. Sharon, and all the staff that I met, were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had all that I needed, including a lovely sea view and comfy bed. Breakfasts were lovely, I had dietary needs, being vegetarian and gluten intolerant, and these were met with ease. I will certainly stay here in future.

Just a lovely warm cosy and homely stay. A warm welcome from Shirley her team and Luke who sorted our telly. The rooms were so comfortable clean and warm. A hidden gem so near to everything. Great value for money. Would highly reccommend. Thank you to all.

Just returned from a four night stay at The Edelweiss, there were 20 of us visiting the Isle of Man for a walking holiday. The accommodation was comfortable. The breakfast was hot, varied and plentiful. From booking to leaving, Shirley and her team looked after us morning till night, they couldn’t have been more accommodating if they tried. They even supplied reasonably priced packed lunches for our walkers. This B&B is a hidden gem located just off the main road.

Amazing stay, We felt like we were staying with family..The room was very comfortable,and the bed was comfy. Shirley the proprietor was so friendly and helpful. It made our trip to IOM perfect. We highly recommend the Edelweiss Guesthouse.
