Umg, was kann ich sagen?? Kann nicht genug von diesem Ischia-Symbol, Grand Hotel punta molino sprechen! Von dem Zeitpunkt, als wir das Fähren aussteigen, schnell von dem intelligenten und lächelnden Ciro auf den Transfers begrüßt, bis zum Ciro der Concierge( so charismatisch und so freundlich!) und das ganze Team an der Rezeption, Damen und Jungs, jemals lächeln, helfsbereit und wissensfähig. A mention to the GM Antonio Buono, what a gent, he’s a constant presence and reassurance to his team, at the point that the other day he was around the beach asking customers if they wanted any drinks ordered,what a humble guy, Er hatte immer ein Wort mit jedem, indem er Ihnen etwas besonderes, was ein Profi. Nicht vergessen alle Lebenswächter am Strand von dem Kopf Franco zu dem Rest des Teams, das Personal am Frühstück und die Hausbetreuer, alles erstaunlich. Kann nicht warten, bis bald wieder zurück, 6 Sterne Urlaub!!! Enzo und Kate

The location is superb, facing the port/harbour, so in the very centre close to many shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as boats if you wish to take a trip around the island or to other islands in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a room with a terrace in the sun all day long (there are only 4 of these I think, the rest just have a balcony) on the top floor with a fantastic view of the harbour. The hotel is also not far from the Aragonese Castle with lovely views from top built on a small tidal island connected by a causeway that is nice to visit. The hotel has an outdoor pool with thermal water and a lovely area around it on three levels with enough sunbeds, but the two levels above are not well maintained (broken chairs, umbrellas). It's a pity. The outdoor pool bar is not manned all day long but you can call someone from there and order what you wish. The spa, with an indoor pool, offers a lot of services and I recommend the anti-aging facial. And if you wish to swim in the sea, in addition to several public beaches close by, you can take a taxi that will take you to Giardino Eden, a beach club about 10 minutes from the hotel. It offers sea access, pools and restaurants. The only drawback was breakfast. The food was not replenished sufficiently so if you came later, so e.g. 10:00 while breakfast was open until 10:30, you could not find much of anything. You can of course order food too, e.g. fried eggs, etc. Once we came earlier, around 9:00, and the buffet was great. Pity. Oh, and the voucher for two complimentary welcome drinks upon arrival was in fact a voucher for two cocktails, not drinks such as prosecco or wine. All in all, a great stay for an affordable price. Will be back. :-)

We arrived at the ”hotel” to a very basic place which looked like a building site/lodging house. The receptionist copied our passports and quite bluntly said you're on the first floor that way. We then had to struggle up the stairs with our cases to find our room. Room being the operative name. It was basically a cupboard with a bed in it. There was ONE socket in the whole room. A wardrobe containing ONE HANGAR, a bed coveted in a fraying coverlet and a marked sheet,two flat pillows, a door led to a bathroom with a very disgusting, marked shower curtain, hanging from exceptionally dirty rings. The ”view” was booked as pool or garden view, we had neither. We faced scaffolding, building site and dirty laundry on the floor, two flights below. The aircon didnt have a remote in the room. The electricity consumer box didn't have a cover but DID contain a keyhole! We went back to reception to ask to change room, to be told they were full and it wasn't possible. We requested more pillows, hangars and how to turn on the aircon in the room. We were told we had to pay for the aircon £12 per day. Pillows were delivered to the room along with 10 exceptionally dirty, rusty hangars We were informed ”dinner was 7-8pm and breakfast was 8-9am, set in stone with allocated tables and a preordained ”menu” of 2 dishes. We had to buy water to have with dinner and we're shocked that HALF BOARD DIDNT GET US A CHOICE OF WHAT TO EAT! we slept in the disgusting room that evening, THOROUGHLY DISAPPOINTED, as i'd booked this trip through LOVEHOLIDAYS for my husbands 65th birthday gift. I cried that night, absolutely shocked by what we had compared to what I thought I'd booked. The next morning my husband went down to breakfast- again no choice and offerrings were left overs from dinner, green beans, cake, manky fruit, cheap cereal! I had a coffee and returned to the room. We looked on *********** for another hotel and moved that day to an available hotel. We have complained about the 20 year old pictures advertising this OAP BOARDING HOUSE where older people LIVE in the rooms facing the pool and gardens. There is also a dog roaming trying to get into the room along with visitors in the night trying all doors. Filip used us moving as an excuse to not refund us for our further 6 night stay, stating we only wanted a sunset view!! We've never been to Ischia before so we looked at available, clean hotels available at short notice. Please, PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS HOVEL FOR YOUR HOLIDAY, THE OWNERS HAVE QUITE FRANKLY GIVEN UP AND NEED TO TAKE THE ”HOTEL” PART FROM THEIR SIGNAGE AND CHANGE IT TO BUDGET HOSTEL WITH A POOL! would of given ZERO but not able to. We have an ABTA CERT and WILL be taking this forward with them

Angekommen nach einer langen Reise im Komfort Doppelzimmer zur Alleinnutzung? Ich würde sagen kleines Einzelzimmer mit Doppelbett und direkt neben dem Fahrstuhl!!! Klimaanlage defekt und sobald man das Fenster auf macht mit Blick zum Restaurant Zigarettengeruch!!! Ich bin als viel reisender Gast enttäuscht. Umbuchung? Fehlanzeige ausgebucht im März. Der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sehr freundlich, aber das hilft da auch nicht. Aus Frust Zimmerkühlschrank auf, denn auf dem Schild stand, Bier 3 Euro, mh egal aber? Kein Bier drin, ab zur Rezeption und mh Aha, aber passiert ist nix. Das sind nach der Anreise die ersten Minuten. Sorry aber einmal reicht dann, ich kenne Ischia von früher und wollte gern mal wieder hier her, aber ich glaube, das war es dann auch. Hotel kann ich leider überhaupt nicht empfehlen. In den 18 Quadratmetern sind wohl die Wände mit eingerechnet. Ich komme beim Messen auf maximal 12. Auch der Versuch mit dem Manager des Hotels zu sprechen Fehlanzeige. Sind die Gäste mittlerweile so egal? Ich hätte sogar finanziell noch etwas drauf gelegt, keine Chance, statt dessen wurde mir regelrecht mitgeteilt, ich kann ja auch abreisen. Warum geht man so mit zahlenden Gästen um? Das Frühstück eigentlich eine gute Idee, das man bestellt was man essen möchte, das ist nachhaltig, allerdings bei einem 4 Sterne Haus ein Witz was man geboten bekommt. Im Hotel war gar in einigen Zimmern Baustelle, so direkt über mir. Hätte man ordentlich kommunizieren können, natürlich nicht und auch keine Entschuldigung dafür. Sorry, so etwas habe ich weder in Ischia, noch irgendwo anders so erlebt. Das Personal versucht sich Mühe zu geben, aber ebend nur das Personal. Ich musste natürlich den Reiseveranstalter darüber informieren und habe ausreichend Beweise geschickt. Ich hätte vom Manager mehr erwartet und nicht den Satz, wir reden nur italienisch oder englisch. Der Urlaub ist um und nun mein Ergebnis, der Spa Bereich nicht Zeitgemäß, das Dampfbad hat Saunatemperatur und das Wechlbadbecken viel zu heiß. Im meinem Zimmer 206 Klimaanlage defekt, in einem anderen Zimmer 302 ging die Klimaanlage nicht aus und der Reisegast ist krank geworden. Ich habe die Reiseveranstalter informiert, dieses Hotel aus dem Programm zu nehmen, da der Manager scheinbar nur englische und italienische Gäste möchte. Auch am letzten Tag kam keine Entschuldigung für die Unannehmlichkeiten. Wir sprechen hier von 4 Sternen und Spa. Ich habe rings herum sehr viel positives erlebt, aber es gibt da ein Sprichwort.....Schade Das war übrigens ein Komfort Doppelzimmer 18 Quadratmeter zur Alleinnutzung ohne Balkon. 😁. Frage mich wo dies 18 Quadratmeter waren. Desweiteren kommt dazu, das Hotel wurde durch EU Fördermittel rekonstruiert, Aha also unsere Steuergelder, da sind wohl die 2 Porsche vom Hotelmanager mit abgefallen? Ich habe so etwas noch nie erlebt und der Reiseveranstalter reagiert nicht, das Hotel und TUI haben mir regelrecht meinen Urlaub versaut.

Insgesamt bietet das Hotel eine großartige Erfahrung und ist eine hervorragende Wahl für Reisende, die nach Komfort, Qualität und erstklassigem Service suchen.

Our room had a balcony and looked out over the 2 pools, and had a sea view. The room was less equipped than we are used to. The mini bar was either locked or jammed shut. The air conditioning was similar to an asthmatic mouse blowing through a straw, there was no kettle or drinks making facilities, and dated 70s decor . The shower worked well. The room was large and clean. The few plugs were type C two pin. The waiting staff in the restaurant were excellent, English is not one of the most used languages in the hotel,so get used to the words you will need. Mostly German and Italian. It says it’s a no smoking hotel with no pets, we saw both pets and smokers. Would I go again, (I may not be welcome after this review) would I recommend, maybe.
