Ich weiß nicht, ob es Zufall ist oder ob das Hotel sich meine Vorlieben merkt und mir entsprechend ein Zimmer zuweist. Ein großes Lob an die Reinigungskraft im 20. Stock! Ich hatte den Waschbeckenbereich ziemlich verschmutzt, und jedes Mal, wenn sie putzte, legte sie ein kleines Handtuch hin und räumte ein bisschen auf, was mir immer sehr gut tat! Sie war unglaublich aufmerksam und zuvorkommend."

"Zunächst zur Lage. Das Hotel liegt ganz in der Nähe des Bahnhofs Kunshan Süd, nur fünf Gehminuten vom Ausgang entfernt. Tagsüber hört man den vorbeifahrenden Hochgeschwindigkeitszug, aber nachts, wenn der Zug geschlossen ist, ist es ruhig. Das Zimmer war geräumig, das Frühstück lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich. Es gab jedoch auch einige Nachteile: Die Hotelausstattung war veraltet, und die Waschmaschine war ein Pulsator, was heutzutage recht selten ist. Außerdem funktionierte der Fernseher im Zimmer nicht mit Leinwandprojektion."

"The hotel has everything to have a great journey. It's clean, the room are spacious and beautiful. I had always get a warm welcome from the employees at the entrance. I stayed 2 weeks there. The breakfast is great with many choices. The gym has everything you need but some equipments are a bit old or in bad condition. It can be busy the evening. Also there is a mall next, with many restaurants inside. And a massage center in front by crossing the street (foot massage must be tried during your stay) Laundry service is really expensive (I paid around 80 USD for a small size machine)"

"Good bits: Near the mall just downstairs. The view is okay from 47th floor. Spacious room. Clean and up to five star standard. Staff are helpful and welcoming. Need to improve bits: The bathtub needs to be improved. No way to lie down and the click on drain button is right under the bum that means when you sit on the button and move a tiny bit the water will start to drain. Very anti human design."

Die Wand ist sehr groß und das Baby ist sehr glücklich. Trip.com-Paket enthält einen Buffet- Abendessen und ist sehr kostengünstig. Im Buffet- Abendessen gibt es Buddha-Wand-Sprung, Sandfisch-Feuer. Sehr fett. Das Zimmer ist etwas heiß, und Tante hat die Windschutzscheibe rechtzeitig gegeben."

Das Badezimmer ist trocken und ist auch ausreichend hoch, das Bad ist komfortabel. 18 Whirlpools in der Nähe des Whirlpools sind überall Wäsche und Trinkwasser zu sehen. Die Lieferung ist sehr rechtzeitig. Der Rezeption-Xiao Xiao-Service ist sehr warm, nicht absichtlich und lobenswert. Es ist wirklich die Grundschule des alten fünf-Sterne-Hotels. In der Zukunft kommt der Whirlpool nach Yangzhou, hier ist die erste Wahl."

"What tops the list for me is the friendly staff.They go out of their way to help.I would like to specifically mention front desk manager Mr Bruce, who tried his best to get some vegetarian food at odd times. He even came with me to restaurant leaving his front deak to find an option.That's something beyond my expectation. Room is very clean.Restaurant is pretty good with several options for breakfast. In my room, AC effect was not good.They immediately try to rectify and also offered fan in the room. I am sure will stay in this hotel whenever I come to Kunshan."

HHalf Gwailo ABCOverall an enjoyable and relaxing one night stay at this tiny cosy hotel in Zhouzhuang, for our final leg of our 6 days Suzhou trip. We took a didi over to Zhouzhuang, which was faster and cheaper than I expected, just a little over half an hour. The hotel staff called me the day before to arrange for pick-up near the watertown ticket office. Actually I can't speak Mandarin and their English wasn't too good but we ended up chatting on Wechat as Wechat has a built-in translate function in their chat. So, 15 minutes before we arrive, we just had to let them know on Wechat. And the staff is already waiting for us, helped us with the luggage and guided us through the ticket buying process. You do have to pay for the ¥100 RMB ticket to get into the watertown and the ticket is good for 3 days. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the entrance. I picked this hotel because it was right inside the watertown and it had the ancient Chinese interior, although all the amenities are modern, including a robust and high-tech Kohler smart toilets in each bathroom. There is a nice coffee shop inside the hotel and the coffee shop owner is friendly and takes his coffee craft seriously. The hotel gives you 2 free drinks during your stay and the coffee menu is quite extensive. If the hotel rooms are not booked on that day, we are told the hotel opens their doors to coffee customers. The hotel owner is actually younger than I expected so I am impressed she meticulously created this authentic experience and the attention to detail. She was friendly and helpful and was open to accommodating our needs. We booked the entire 2nd floor, which was 3 bedrooms and we had 6 adults in our group. This tiny hotel only has 3 bedrooms so if you booked all 3 rooms, you pretty much get the entire hotel to yourselves which include the first floor which is spacious and comfy. When I visit Zhouzhuang again, I am looking forward to stay here again. It's certainly not cheap, but you do get what you pay for - which is people passionate about hospitality (in a Chinese way) and also a hygiene and staying experience that is certainly up to international standards.

SSCTan (Malaysia)Our stay at Zhouzhuang Zen Yili was absolutely wonderful—a perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and convenience! Taxi can dropped us off within 1 minute walking distance away from Zen Yili. Zhouzhuang ancient village entrance is just a few minutes walk from Zen Yili making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and activities. The peaceful surroundings of the homestay also added to the relaxing vibe. The hosts, both husband and wife were exceptionally kind and gave us great local tips. They provided us more than enough fresh fruits, tea, biscuits and mineral water. I was surprised also that the room was with full mosquitoes nettings with even anti mosquitoes device provided if needed. During our stay the homestay and its surroundings ware without mosquitoes. The room was spotless, with fresh linens and a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom was of five star standard for its fittings, and was very well-maintained. Before we checked out, we were given delicious homemade biscuits out of their hospitality. They also arranged for us a reliable and comfortable pickup after checked out. For the price, this homestay offered excellent value. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to couples, families, or solo travelers looking for a peaceful retreat in Zhouzhuang ancient village.

KKabuluoyiDie Lage ist wirklich ausgezeichnet – sehr nah am Ticketschalter von Shen Ting, man ist sofort im Herzen der Altstadt. Shen Ting, Zhang Yuan und die Doppelbrücken befinden sich alle in unmittelbarer Nähe, was äußerst praktisch ist. Die Pension ist ebenfalls sehr schön, klein aber fein und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Ich hatte zwar nur noch das günstigste Zimmer buchen können, aber abgesehen davon, dass es etwas kleiner war, war es absolut in Ordnung. Warmwasser, Klimaanlage, Beleuchtung und Steckdosen funktionierten einwandfrei. Bei unserer Ankunft regnete es, und die Mitarbeiter hatten sogar schon vorab den Luftentfeuchter und die Klimaanlage eingeschaltet – das war toll. Als wir unser deponiertes Gepäck abholten, boten sie uns zudem unaufgefordert Eiswasser an, was wirklich sehr aufmerksam war. Es gab nur einen kleinen Minuspunkt: Der Smart-TV hatte leider kein Abo, sodass man keine Filme streamen konnte. Alles in allem aber sehr empfehlenswert.

GGastnutzerI am absolutely in love with this hotel! First of all, the hotel is located inside the scenic spot. One of the staff called me in advance to arrange a time to pick me up at the entrance of the scenic spot. My Chinese is not good so normally it's very awkward for me to speak over the phone in Chinese but she was very patient with me which I appreciate. Not only did she escort me to the hotel but she also carried my luggage for me. The decor inside the hotel has a beautiful, rustic asthetic which matches the feel of the ancient town. I really like table and chairs in my room, overlooking the pond. The pond also has koi fish and turtles! It was a beautiful touch that added to the overrall feel of the hotel. I loved these little details such as theovely traditional Chinese tea set (with a variety of complementary loose tea leaves), and the stylish coffee mugs. Unfortunately I came to Zhouzhuang during a severe typhoon which caused a leak and power cut in my room, so when I alerted the staff, they immediately gave me a new room. They even helped me pack my things so I can change rooms as soon as possible. The new room I went to was equally as beautiful. Not only is the hotel beautiful but it also has great amenities. Both rooms I stayed in had a stone bathtub which were both very deep -you could float it in! If you come here, I would recommend you bring some bubble bath with you like I did for maximum relaxation. I also made good use of the pool. The pool is a little small and a bit too shallow for an adult, but you can still have an enjoyable swim. Lastly, the tea room and cafés are also a nice addition to the hotel. My second room didn't have a table and chairs like the original one I booked, so I went to the tea room to eat my breakfast. It's also a cozy and comfortable room just to relax in if you're feeling lazy. As I have mentioned throughout this review, the service is second to none. Not only did the staff help me get to the hotel, but after I checked out they also carried my luggage and escorted me to the taxi. Throughout my stay I was offered fresh fruit and coffee several times, and as I mentioned earlier, I was immediately helped when I had to change my room. Whenever I struggled to communicate in Mandarin, the staff would try their best to speak English or would be patient with my hesitation or mispronunciation in Mandarin. This is probably the best ever service I have experienced on my travels. In summary, it's a beautiful hotel, in a convenient location with great facilities and helpful and kind staff. Not only will I come back again (and with my family next time) but I will recommend all my friends and colleagues to stay at this hotel if they ever plan to visit Zhouzhuang.

RRonald 泰山Sehr sauber und neues Hotel. Das einzige Problem ist, dass es neben einer großen Straße mit hohem Verkehr während der Drehzeiten ist. Windows sind gut isoliert gegen Lärm. Im Gegenteil ist ein großer Einkaufszentrum mit Restaurants und anderen Dingen, die Sie im täglichen Leben benötigen.

Es war romantisch und gemütlich eingerichtet und nachts ruhig und ungestört. Die Lage ist ideal: mitten in einer malerischen Gegend und einem zentralen Einkaufsviertel, sodass man die Umgebung super bequem erkunden kann. Die Steckdosen waren praktisch platziert, im Badezimmer gab es reichlich heißes Wasser mit konstantem Druck, die Pflegeprodukte dufteten herrlich, das natürliche Licht war fantastisch und der Ausblick aus dem Fenster einfach traumhaft. So ein Zuhause fernab von Zuhause ist wirklich selten.

Nn_n2603Host ist nett und freundlich auch uns unterstützen, die ganze Zeit, die wir dort geblieben haben. Das Zimmer ist nicht sehr super Blick, aber sauber und die Dinge sind gut, vor allem in der Waschraum haben Heizung. Ich werde nochmals buchen, wenn ich zurückkommt Suzhou. Danke

MMateja BokanAgain, it's a cute little hotel, exactly likey last review said. No changes in that regard. However, this time we were given a room with a hallway view (an outside window looking into the wall of the building about a meter away from the hotel's). I went to complain to the reception, but the receptionist had difficulty understanding what my complaint was (as the room did have a window). After asking for a room with an actual window out into the street, she said that that room needs an upgrade (despite our previous room from 3 days ago not needing it). And after a few back and forth she decided ”to give me the upgrade for free”. The new room was exactly the same as the previous one, except that the window opened into the street, so I'm having difficulty understanding why this was a 10min process... The room was modern yet again, very clean, the cleaning staff was beyond polite, however, I must note that this room had a vending machine for sex-related items, which may not be the most ideal thing if you're coming for a family stay (so maybe ask beforehand at the reception if there's that in your room). The breakfast has a large selection, and is good (the only note is that the drink choices should be better and not so artificial).

CChoySamanthaThe hotel is located within Zhouzhuang Old Town, making it convenient to visit nearby museums. If you enter the old town after 5 PM, you can avoid the entrance fee. The hotel is also situated next to a temple, but unfortunately, the temple is currently under renovation and not open to tourists. One issue to note is the presence of mosquitoes, so be sure to bring insect repellent. Zhouzhuang offers a stunning night view — highly recommended! Don’t miss the boat ride; it costs 220 yuan per ride and can accommodate up to 6 people, including infants.

SStanley The Travel ManI arrived in pouring rain. I thought I could walk to my hotel but it was impossible in the downpour. I didn’t want to bother any hotel owner.   I didn’t and still don’t  have an eSIM that can make local  call but thanks to Trip.com, there is a link that I could call the owner for free.  I didn’t advise the owners my arrival time so they were off running errands.  I called the owner to pick me up and thankfully he answered. He was busy but gracious enough to turn around and picked me up. It knew Zhouhuang requires a ticket but I didn’t know that no cars, nor motorcycles, nor bicycles are allowed. Without him I would have arrived the hotel easily.  I always like to meet the owners instead of employees . They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They are honest people who dedicate their  blood and sweat to their business. The owner even offered to walk me to the bus stop  to Suzhou which was my next destination.  This  operates two hotels with 9 in one and 6 in the other. The one that I stayed in with 9 rooms is in a  lively and busy area . Just outside the hotel is a restaurant and there are plenty of places to eat. Inside the hotel is a peaceful oasis where you won’t hear any noise. The location is the best. The other hotel is in a quieter neighborhood a few minutes away. Each of the 15 rooms has it’s own personality, is different and has its distinctive decoration. The owners said they decorated them themselves. I love the decoration and especially the lighting.  After you reserve a room, be sure to contact the owner for the exact address in case you want to arrive on your own. I think it is best to request the owner to take you there because he/she will lead you to the ticket booth to buy tickets. There are a number of bridges so heavy big luggages can be a bit of a challenge .  If you arrive after 5 pm, you can enter free of charge as no one is there to check your ticket. . But once you are inside, and if you choose to leave the area after 8 or 9 am until 5 pm, you have to pay to come back in. You can buy a one day or in my case 3 days pass.  Do check with the owner for up to date information.  The room was quite clean. There were hot water all the time. There were other guests during my stay but they were not noisy at all. I barely heard them. I slept very well during my 3 nights there.  Zhouhuang is really beautiful. There are many canals, bridges, boat rides, good food of all kinds. I had some of the best meals there. In fact , I ate in the same restaurant that serves dumpling twice. One night I had grill (BBQ) meat just outside the entrance for 4 yuans. .  There is decent size supermarket just outside the turnstile and not too far away is a much bigger supermarket. It was there where I bought half a Peking duck for only 32 yuans . The seller sliced the meat and separated the meat from  the bones. The bones he fried so it was crunchy.  It was delicious. There is a theater that offers performances. The night view is great. If you step out your room, you will be overwhelmed in a good sense by the exciting surroundings.  This hotel definitely is one of the best that I have ever stayed in. Look at the beautiful pictures and find one that you like.  I stayed only 3 nights and one of those days I went to Tongli. In my opinion, one should spend at least 2 to 3 full days in  Zhouhuang (and especially this hotel ) savor the ambience. I don’t think Tongli is worth the time because it was twice as expensive and there are not that many canals and boat rides. It is much quieter and has fewer things to see. . The worst is that the sightseeing places require you to show your ticket. After 2 places, I lost mine ticket and I  couldn’t get in the rest of the places. It is unnecessary to require proof of entrance because you can’t enter the area without a ticket.
