"They forced us (65 & 69 years old) to move to a lower levels room from room 1801 to room 816:
- The reason: “one of our customer needs a higher level room, you have to move to another room” they said and this was TUESDAY not weekend.
- My IMPRESSION:
- Lots of staff running in the front building and in the lobby area, but don’t know what to do.
- Old and outdated TV with very poor signal.
- Very confusing lighting system.
- Leaking Showers enclosure, water spills everywhere.
- There’s no toilet paper when checked-in.
- Toilet cover was loose.
- Breakfast was so so, lots of choices, but most of them were tasteless.
- Low quality fruits.(worst than those food stalls on the street.
- I used my US passport to check-in: my booking name and passport name was exactly the same but they sent a notice to TRIP.com stated that my booking and checked in name was different. MY GOD They really don’t know what they are doing."

"Das Vias Vungt Tau Hotel ist ein sehr elegantes Vier Sterne Hotel direkt in Strandnähe. Der Strand und das Meer ist mit circa 3 Minuten Fußweg schnell zu erreichen (Straße überqueren). Das Hotelpersonal spricht u.a. Englisch und ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir konnten am Ende unseres Aufenhaltes problemlos ein Shuttle Service buchen lassen, unser Gepäck zur Aufbewahrung abgeben und uns auch zwischendurch über andere Belange informieren. Die Aussicht von der Sky Lounge Bar und vom Zimmer aus waren traumhaft schön. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr vielfältig und umfasst Vietnamessiche Gerichte/frische Säfte/ Ca phe Siu etc. bis hin zu westlichen Gaumenfreuden. Das Restaurant hatten wir nicht ausprobiert, in den umliegenden Restaurants der Gegend gibt es ebenso leckere Speisen und Meeresfrüchtegerichte. Der Zimmerservice ist auch sehr freundlich und nach dem ”Make -up-room ” erwartete uns stets ein sauberes und ordentliches Zimmer /Bett.

"I recently stayed at Ibis Style Vung Tau and found the experience somewhat mixed. The room size was quite small considering the price, and the pool was also on the smaller side. Additionally, all amenities had to be requested, which felt inconvenient, especially for Vietnamese guests. The mirror at the ”infinity pool” was extremely dirty, making it impossible to take good photos. On a positive note, the front desk staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Despite the friendly service, I'm unsure if I'll choose to stay here again."

"We loved nearly everything about this hotel. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Room was big and very clean with very nice bed and bathroom. We were very happy to have a swimming pool on our floor that was just for guests on our floor, as well as the larger more public rooftop pool. The pools were so clean and had great views over the ocean. My one and only criticism is we were very disappointed with the hotel restaurant. It changed both the in-house and room-service menus on the day we arrived and the new menus did not have ANY vegetarian starters or mains - just a few side dishes (which is unsatisfactory for a proper meal). So sadly we had to leave the hotel to find a restaurant for dinner, when we just wanted to stay in and be relaxed. Not having a single vegetarian main should not happen at an international hotel like this. The staff were apologetic but it didn’t change the fact we had to leave to get dinner. The good news is that we found an excellent Italian restaurant (Good Mornjng Vietnam) just 10 minutes away that had loads of great vegetarian food."

"Room is clean, looks like new almost. Staff is friendly and helpful. Only draw back maybe is non English speaking staff.
Location wise not so convenient as nearby are only restaurants and cafes. No shopping, be it souvenir or convenient stores. Need to engage Grab or InDriver for bike rides to town centre (15 minutes).
Tourist attraction is only the beach and cable car to see the scenery and Mother Jesus statue.
Last but not least, breakfast is excellent. Can rival 5-star hotels. A good mix of continental and local cuisine breakfast. Seasonal local fruits provided too. Fantastic gastronomic experience."

Llinran500Das schönste Hotel in Vung Tau. Wenn ich mit meiner Familie während des Frühlingsfestes in den Urlaub fahre, ist es praktisch, in der Nähe Meeresfrüchte zu essen. Wenn man den Sonnenaufgang beobachtet, ist die Landschaft sehr reizvoll. Das einzige Bedauern ist, dass das Meer in Vung Tau nicht klar genug und etwas schmutzig ist.

JJiun ShiongDas Apartment war tadellos sauber und gut gepflegt. Es machte meinen Aufenthalt unglaublich komfortabel. Die Einrichtung war modern und stilvoll und schuf eine warme und einladende Atmosphäre. Das Zimmer war überraschend ruhig, sodass ich ruhig schlafen konnte. Der Blick aus dem Fenster war absolut atemberaubend und bot während meines Aufenthalts eine perfekte Kulisse. Die Raumaufteilung war geräumig und funktional, sodass ich mich leicht entspannen und erholen konnte. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam und sorgte dafür, dass mein Zimmer immer in Topform war. Die Lage des Apartments war perfekt, mit einfachem Zugang zu allen Attraktionen, die ich besuchen wollte. Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt fantastisch! Ich hätte mir während meiner Reise kein besseres Zimmer wünschen können.

KKevin Duong 1413Ich bin jetzt zum vierten Mal im Pullman Vung Tau und muss sagen, dass ich etwas enttäuscht bin. Die Einrichtungen sind ohne Renovierung oder Modernisierung verfallen. Im Badezimmer sind die Armaturen kaputt und nicht repariert, freiliegende Kabel sind sichtbar. Die Klimaanlage ist unglaublich laut (sie schaltet sich nur ab, wenn sie unter 25 °C eingestellt ist und der Ventilator auf Stufe 3 läuft, was rätselhaft ist). Im Zimmer riecht es stark nach Rauch, was ich der Rezeption melden musste, damit es behoben wird. Außerdem riecht es in der Nähe des Nachttischs muffig. Ich hoffe, die Hotelleitung überdenkt ihre Vorgehensweise. Ich habe vom 28. bis 30. April 2024 in Zimmer 402 übernachtet. Danke.

KKennieConsidering that it was a late booking, I guess the price was a little higher than what I expected. Lesson learnt: book early to get more options & better prices! Otherwise, the room was bigger than I expected. There were actually 2 double beds instead of one for 2 persons (interesting!). And there was also a small empty en-suite pantry with a kitchen sink that I didn't have to use. The room itself was a little old. but clean. The best part of the room was the view from the balcony. Lovely view of the sea, the poolside & the town's view facing the coastline. All in all, worth the money you pay for. Oh, and the breakfast buffet was passable. Some basic choices, nothing fancy, mostly Vietnamese flair with some noodles, fried rice, cereal & bread. Da es sich im 34. Stock befand, war die Aussicht recht gut.
Und auf dem Dach. Es war schön und komfortabel, ein Schwimmbad zu haben. Natürlich war auch die Aussicht bei Nacht schön.
Im ersten Stock gab es auch ein Kinderbecken.
Und 100 m außerhalb des Resorts. Da es eine Menge davon gibt, ist es einfach, Lebensmittelzutaten zu kaufen.

TTracynguyen2412Ich buchte 3 Deluxe-Zweibettzimmer mit Meerblick für 2 Nächte, um meinen Geburtstag mit Freunden zu feiern. Ich wurde von Frau Duyen (stellvertretende Gästebetreuerin), Frau Chi (Rezeptionistin) und Herrn Vinh (Hotelpage) herzlich empfangen. Frau Duyen half uns, unser Zimmer mit schöner Aussicht einzurichten und überraschte mich mit Kuchen. Frau Chi checkte sehr schnell und professionell für uns ein. Herr Vinh half uns, all unser schweres Gepäck auf unsere Zimmer zu bringen und rief ein Elektroauto für uns. Auch vielen Dank an Herrn Hoang, den FB-Manager, der sich um unser Frühstück gekümmert hat. Unser Aufenthalt im Mercure Vung Tau war sehr angenehm. Und dank ihnen haben wir unseren Aufenthalt wirklich sehr genossen.
Aber es gibt ein kleines Problem: Ich hatte über trip.com für meinen Aufenthalt vom 22.-24. Dezember reserviert, aber mein Arbeitsplan wurde geändert, sodass ich Frau Trang Lam von der Reservierungsabteilung kontaktierte, um mich bei der Änderung auf den 20.-22. Dezember zu unterstützen. Sie bat mich, trip.com zu kontaktieren. Nachdem ich trip.com kontaktiert hatte, halfen sie mir, erneut mit dem Hotel Kontakt aufzunehmen, um die Änderung zu beantragen. Manchmal weiß ich, dass ich die Buchung ändern kann, wenn beide Seiten einer Änderung zustimmen, obwohl in meinen Buchungsrichtlinien keine Änderung angegeben ist. Aber trip.com sagte, dass das Hotel einer Änderung nicht zugestimmt habe. Und ich fragte sie nach einer Lösung, ob ich für die Änderung mehr zahlen kann oder nicht. Sie schickte mir nur eine E-Mail mit dem Zimmerpreis für den 20.-22. Dezember und sagte mir nicht, ob ich die alte Reservierung stornieren und eine neue Reservierung vornehmen kann oder nicht. Schließlich musste ich meinen Zeitplan ändern, blieb nur eine Nacht im Hotel und verließ Vung Tau um 3:30 Uhr, um meinen Flug am 24. Dezember zu nehmen.
