Finde Hotels mit Badewannen in Koh Tao

Unsere Erwartungen wurden leider nicht erfüllt und wir sind von unserem Aufenthalt enttäuscht. Der Empfang war sehr kühl und wenig einladend. Auch der Lobbybereich ist nicht gepflegt und in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten eine Villa gebucht wo man wissen muss, dass diese oben im Hügel ist. Man muss also gut zu Fuß sein oder den Fahrservice nutzen. Die Villa ist klein und war aus unserer Sicht nicht sehr sauber. Im Schrank befand sich noch Kleidung von anderen Gästen (getragene Flip Flops und Unterwäsche) die Duschkabine wurde scheinbar lange nicht gereinigt und auch in den Tagen unseres Aufenthaltes wurde zwar sauber gemacht, aber nur oberflächlich (Unsere benutzten Müslischalen wurden auch nach zwei Tagen nicht sauber gemacht oder entfernt). Die Ausstattung der Villa ist mangelhaft. Die offene Badsituation und die Toilette sind grenzwertig. Es gibt im Bad keinen großen Spiegel (nur einen Kosmetikspiegel). Der große Pool wurde jeden Tag durch Taucherkurse genutzt - dieser stand daher für Gäste nicht zur Verfügung. Vom Frühstück waren wir mehr als enttäuscht, da sie auf ihrer Homepage was anderes zeigen und wir darauf reingefallen sind. Mehr als ein Standard Angebot ist es nicht aber niemals 4 Sterne wert - der Kaffee war super als Ausnahme vom ganzen Angebot. Die Rooftop Bar war nicht zu nutzen und auch sonst gibt es kein wirkliches Angebot den Tag über - die kleine Bar am Pool war meist geschlossen. Man hat also nicht das Gefühl, als würde hier ein Interesse bestehen, mehr Umsatz durch Getränke zu erzielen. Wir hatten für 8 Nächte gebucht sind aber nach 5 bereits abgereist. Als wir das der Rezeption mitgeteilt haben, gab es keinerlei Nachfrage wieso wir abreisen oder ob man was tun kann? Das WLAN im Hotel und auf dem Zimmer hat mal mehr und mal weniger gut funktioniert. Alles in Allem alles etwas lieblos und mit viel Potenzial . Es gibt in besserer Lage für weniger Geld mehr Service und Freundlichkeit hier in Koh Tao. Leider keine Empfehlung wenn man 4 Sterne erwartet!

Ich kam mit meiner Freundin auf einer Tauchreise für 6 Nächte im Koh Tao cabana. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfreich. Nutzen Sie die kostenlosen Paddelblätter und Kayaks, wenn Sie können. Super schöne Fläche am Strand alle für dieses Resort reserviert. Das Frühstück war auch sehr schön und liebte die thailändischen Optionen sowie die westlichen Mahlzeitoptionen. Die Zimmer können einzelne Cabanas auf einer Hügelseite sein, so ist es ein wenig von einem Spaziergang auf, aber das störte uns nicht. Wir würden hier wieder bleiben und sehr glücklich mit unserer Erfahrung. Danke Koh Tao Cabana!

We had an awful experience at the Seashell dive centre attached to the hotel, and are now out of pocket for 22,000 baht for courses that we couldn’t complete due to the behaviour of the centre manager. We booked and paid upfront for a day of fun dives and 2 AOW courses. After an awful experience where I became very cold and sick on the fun dives due to poor weather conditions and inappropriate kit, we asked to be refunded for the AOW or to wait until conditions were calmer. The manager said that we could not be refunded but could wait for calmer conditions and we extended our time by another week in order to wait for things to calm down. However, the following day we popped into the centre and the managers attitude was completely different, he was rude and difficult and following some very unpleasant interactions with him over the following few days, we took the decision to not go forward with the course. One of the instructors who witnessed the managers behaviour apologised on his behalf giving the excuse that he was in a bad mood as had broken up with his girlfriend ! It was evident that once he had our money, that he had no interest in delivering our course or providing any level of customer care. On the fun dive, kit was poor, with a thin shorty wetsuit provided that was not suitable for the weather conditions, no boots, fins that were too small as they didn’t have any other sizes. Our instructor however was dressed in a full wetsuit and boots etc as said he tends to get cold. There was no provision of snorkels despite PADI guidance stating that these are an essential piece of safety equipment and no basic first aid care / procedures provided for cold, sick customers. When we asked for snorkels, we were told that they are unnecessary and just get in the way. The manager has refused to give his name and diver number despite repeated requests which raises further alarm bells and he ignored all initial emails and messages. Finally, we received a response whereby he said that we had booked onto the course on 3 occasions and not attended. This was completely untrue as no date had been set for us to do it at all. The hotel (who we paid for the course) have not responded to any emails or messages in relation to our complaint and couldn’t have been less interested when I raised it with the reception staff at checkout. My advice is that if you go to Seashell hotel, please AVOID the dive centre. You might be ok if everything is straightforward and you get a good instructor, but if there is a problem then don’t expect any level of care or compassion. We had travelled to Koh Tao to do some fun dives and complete our AOW courses. Our experience at seashell dive centre has ruined our trip to this island. After some detective work, we have established that the dive centre managers name is Hasan Can Toker . I wonder what his reasons for hiding this are ! Again, not the actions of a professional and transparent dive centre manager. As for the hot

Wunderschönes Resort mit tollen, sauberen Zimmern. Die Lage und der Ausblick sind einmalig. Das Essen und die Cocktails am Pool sind sehr lecker. Das Personal ist vielleicht etwas zurückhaltend, aber trotzdem nett. Der Fahrer vom Shuttle war super und ist auch ausreichend oft gefahren. Wir haben auch etwas im Hotel vergessen. Das haben sie uns ins nächste Hotel gebracht. Super Service. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden mit Sicherheit wieder kommen. Ganz tolles Hotel!! :)

Sehr schönes Hotel, super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, 100 Meter außerhalb des Strandes um 3 Uhr nachmittags ausgehen ist immer noch sehr flach (erfordert Strandschuhe) zum Schnorcheln geeignet, das Frühstück ist gut!

This spot suited our family perfectly. The kids were in the beautiful infinity pool at every opportunity, right on the beach and we filled up throughout the day with delicious fresh fruit smoothies, fab Thai food, and some western tummy fillers. Foreigners living locally as well as Thais and other tourists came to hang out in this chilled spot so there were other kids around to play with. The staff were really friendly and kind, and replenished our water and towels in our aircon rooms. The garden is lush and our stay was very peaceful. The location is great as we were able to swim out to or rent kayaks to get to incredible snorkelling spots on the calm bay. The sea water was shallow and calm enough for young children to play in. If you want a change of scene there are wonderful eating and drinking options a stroll along the beach, swings and hammocks on the beach, fruit bats to observe at night, the list goes on.
