Die Lage dieses Hotels ist sehr gut. Es ist ein guter Ort, um den Sonnenuntergang in der Bucht von Manila zu beobachten. Die Wirkung ist besser als am Sunset Boulevard. Das Servicepersonal des Hotels hat eine gute Einstellung, insbesondere der Portier, was kostengünstig ist .

Great hotel for it's price. Get the Tower Wing which is newer and renovated. Can tell the staff really go the distance where they can and it's like a localized Shangri La of sorts. Just one bug bear else it would've been 5 stars all the way. The hotel seems to be really, really rigid and they have some weird policies. Me and the wife like to call in call masseurs after a long day from a reputable company in Manila (the masseurs are properly uniformed etc). We informed the front desk that would be doing so. But were told ”any guests staying over after 10pm will get an extra guest charge” I reiterated like 4 or 5 times that these were masseurs and they would be gone 90 mins after they finished. They were not staying. I called the masseurs anyway. As expected they were stopped downstairs. I had to come down in my sleepwear and explain to the female receptionist on Duty (11 Nov 2023 around 11pm) the same explanation above. She called probably her boss then told me in a very condescending tone ”I will give you an exception ONLY ONCE. next time you will be charged an extra guest charge” I disputed again that they are not guests. She showed me a policy document I had signed upon checking in that said ”any guests or visitors STAYING in the hotel after 10pm are subject to the guest charge.” I reiterated, they are masseurs, they are not STAYING. She rolled her eyes at me and ignored me. Really shocking and it really took away everything else we loved about this hotel. I couldn't bear to give 1 star as everyone else worked really hard. Another weird thing if you in the morning buffet their staff will pick the food for you and they seem to be a little bit weird and stingy for example when you're asking for vegetables they will give you one piece of broccoli . You have to literally ask multiple times if you want like three or four pieces of broccoli or cauliflower. I presume this is done for hygiene purposes but they could maybe start by asking ”more or less”? The morning Buffet goes from 7am to 10am and is a really amazing spread. They told me ”last call is at 9am” which means you can't enter after 9am despite it ending 1 hour later. I guess this is due to the large crowds

Wir gingen während unserer Binondo-Aufenthaltsreise zum Hotel springen und Ramada ist unser letzter Halt. Erstens war der Wachmann und Klopfer so hilfreich, als er von Parkplatz ankam, um unsere Gepäck zu bringen. Sie lachten immer. Der Check-in der Aufsichtsmann am Morgen des 27. Oktober war so nett, er hat uns sofort überprüft, obwohl er nur 10:30AM, weil meine 4 y/o Tochter schlief und er will, dass wir uns ausruhen. It's in the heart of Binondo! Alles ist wandelbar. Wir empfehlen dieses Hotel.

Es war ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und sauberer als erwartet, aber nachts gab es viel Verkehrslärm. Das Hotelfrühstück war kostenlos, schien aber etwas mangelhaft zu sein, aber angesichts der Preisspanne des Hotels war es verständlich. Es ist ein günstiges Hotel mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

An unmined gem. Elegant old-world interiors with checkerboard floors in the lobbies and hallways, intricate wrought-iron railings, and beautiful Spanish tiles and brocade wallpaper in the suites. Some common areas, like the central courtyard, need a little TLC but are quietly lovely with trailing flowers and birds chirping above. The pool is a good size, not overly large, but with a great bay view. Parking is adequate for guests though might be a struggle if there is an event in the 1000-person ballroom. We had a gorgeous, comfortable corner suite with windows overlooking the bay on one side and the park on the other side. The giant king bed was luxurious and a delight to sleep on, and the huge bathtub was a treat for the kids. The hotel cafe has a delicious breakfast buffet featuring different regional dishes, and there is also a rooftop restaurant and bar with a perfect panorama for cocktails paired with the famous Manila Bay sunset. There are some quirky policies though, like the need to pay on the spot for ala carte orders rather than charging them to your room. Also because this is an old building, there is kind of a split floor plan where the hotel has two wings. Each wing has its own suites but only one has direct access to the poolside and spa, so if you're in the other one, you need to pass thru the lobby and transfer elevators to get there. It wasn't a dealbreaker for us, but is something to consider when you book. The best part though was the service. Every person was warm and gracious, and a real pleasure to deal with. Rushdee at the front desk and Prince at the roofdeck took exceptional care of our family during our stay. It is also walking distance to family attractions like the Manila Ocean Park, Museo Pambata, and of course Rizal Park. All in all a memorable and wonderful place to stay in the city of Manila.

Der Hotelservice ist großartig. Kein Problem da. Schwimmbad ist ein Witz. Es ist nicht einmal im Hotel. Es ist neben dem Bühne und scheint der alte Ort, wo sie ihre Meeresleugen gehalten haben. Ginawang Pool lng. Die Zimmer sind durchschnittlich. Das größte Problem ist, dass es nicht entschieden hat, ob es ein Zimmer für Kinder und Familie oder eine Hochzeitssuite ist. Die Dusche leckt sogar, wenn die Tür geschlossen ist, viel Wasser, so dass das gesamte Badezimmer nass ist. Das enttäuschendste ist der tatsächliche Ocean Park. Begrenzte Tiere und Attraktionen. Die Show selbst ist auf Vögel und 2 Meeresleugen beschränkt, die ein paar Tricks für Snacks machen. OK naman un Show, aber die bloße Tatsache, dass sie ihre Publikum in der heißen Sommersohle für 30 Minuten verbrannt lassen und die Show ist nur, dass es schwer enttäuschend ist. Sie können nicht einmal für eine gute Zelt Deckung bezahlen.

This hotel is adequate, but slightly overpriced vs. competition. While they have updated the lobby in recent years, from what I can tell there has been little effort to update guest rooms, which are dated vs. other 5 star properties like the Westin. The one differentiating factor this hotel previously had was a great breakfast buffet served in the Pacific Lounge on the 21st floor with floor to ceiling windows that gave a sweeping view of the skyline and the bay. It was carpeted with cushioned club chairs and those soft surfaces absorbed noise and the overall experience was a great way to start your day compared to the crowded and loud breakfast buffets at other 5 star hotels. Well someone decided to spend a lot of money to destroy that experience. They have opened a new restaurant on the first floor that is loud, crowded and gives you a view of 7-11 across the street instead of the bay. I spoke to the GM about this, so he already knows my opinion, but what continues to strike me is his point that the Pacific Lounge is “a premium space” - yes Sir, that’s true and previously it was one that virtually all your guests got to enjoy which is exactly why it was THE difference maker for this hotel. I came back thru Manila for a night on May 15 and was going to try the Sheraton one more time, but it was fully booked. Instead I stayed at the Westin for less money. There was no comparison- the Westin’s rooms have a much higher end finish, their food was better, and the service there was far superior like being provided a welcome drink and the Manager sending fruit to my room with a welcome note. The Sheraton Manila Bay is no longer on par with Manila’s best hotels

wir kannten es bereits von unserem letzten Aufenthalt von 2017 und haben erstmalig 2 Zimmer gebucht; alt aber gut mag auch hier gelten, schade, dass der Shoppingcenter Harrison Plaza gegenüber inzwischen abgerissen wurde; Rezeption ist sehr bemüht, der Poolbereich riesengross

Aufenthalt, um im Zentrum von Manila einige Sehenswürdigkeiten anzuschauen. Das Hotel bot ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Alles in allem bietet das Hotel alles in gehobenem Niveau. Einzig das Frühstücksbuffet is eine Katastrophe, Schlange stehen und ca. eine halbe Stunde warten bis zur Platzzuweisung. Dann ein hektisches Klima, die Köche kommen mit dem Auffüllen des Buffet nicht nach. Das macht das Frühstückserlebnis sehr unangenehm.

Gutes reichhaltiges Frühstückbüffet, nettes hilfbereites Personal. Sauberes Zimmer mit gutem Badezimmer. Bequemes Bett, viel Ablageflächen und Schubladen. Sollte mehr Stromsteckdosen haben. Klimmaanlage Laut und veraltet.
